To use this new Google (GOOG) application, all you have to do is download the free Wallet app from Google, load your credit card information into the wallet, and you’ll be able to make purchases directly through your phone. If you have a Sprint Nexus phone, this new Google app will be a great asset for you as you’ll be able to store all your credit card information in your phone and then just tap it on the MasterCard (MA) PayPass reader at the checkout of any store that has one. At the moment, this app is only available on Sprint phones and currently only works for Citi MasterCard PayPass credit cards. In the near future it will be available for more phone companies and all credit cards.Katrina Gutierrez is a writer at GET.com, a personal finance website.
