If you want to earn many Hilton rewards, and are a US resident, I'd recommend you get the Hilton credit card. The Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Visa Signature® Card, a partner card issued by Citi (C), has no annual fee, and is the official Visa (V) Hilton card for U.S. consumers who want to earn points on their everyday spending and later exchange them for nights at Hilton hotels around the world. Below I'll give you a highlight of its benefits, and tell you what you should watch out for.

Earn 40,000 bonus points after making $1,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening with your Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Visa Signature® Card. Earn 6 HHonors Bonus Points for each $1 spent at any participating hotel within the Hilton Portfolio, which consists of more than 4,200 hotels and resorts! This card rewards you the most, in our opinion, when you stay at their hotels or resorts. Definitely a boost especially for business travelers.
Earn 3 HHonors Bonus Points for each $1 spent on purchases at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations. Remember that this does not include purchases made at convenience stores, department stores, warehouse clubs or discount stores.
Earn 2 HHonors Bonus Points for each $1 spent on all other purchases.
Points can be redeemed for hotel nights, car rentals, airline miles and other Experience Rewards. This includes hotels and airlines that are partners with Hilton. There are no blackout dates for hotel redemption. With as few as 5,000 points, you can redeem for a standard room at a category 1 Hilton hotel. Below is a table showing how many points are needed for a 1-night redemption for the different categories of hotel:
Point purchase program in which you can purchase additional bonus points. This is an awesome deal in my opinion. So if you are accumulating points but are still missing some in order to redeem for a reward, you will be able to buy them. You may be limited as to the amount of points that you can purchase each year or in each transaction.
No pre-set spending limit if you qualify for the Visa Signature card. To be approved for a Visa Signature you must have very good to excellent credit. Otherwise, you may be approved for a Visa Gold card.
Enjoy the benefits of HHonors Silver status as long as you are a cardmember. Get HHonors Silver status on a complimentary basis for as long as you remain a Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Visa Signature® Card cardmember.
