You will get this $100 cash back when you spend $500 in the first 3 months of receiving this Visa (V) credit card. If you've been looking for a card that offers you cash back on purchases and gives you a 12 month 0% intro APR period for balance transfers and purchases (12.99%-22.99% regular APR thereafter), in my opinion, the Citi Dividend Platinum Select - $100 Cash Back is a good all-round card to get. Here are some highlights of the Citi Dividend Platinum Select:12 Months 0% Intro APR for both purchases and balance transfers. After this, the variable regular APR will be 12.99%-22.99% based on your creditworthiness. In my opinion, this is a good introductory period and if you have a balance to transfer or want to make a big ticket purchase and still get cash back this is a nice card to have. It's important to note that the regular APR thereafter depends on your credit score. Earn 1% cash back on all purchases.Earn 5% cash back from Citi on rotating categories. These categories change quarterly and range from home improvement to groceries. From July 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014 you can earn 5% cash back at car rental agencies, theme parks, movie theaters and eligible purchases within the Hilton portfolio. No annual fee.Apart from the signing bonus of $100, this Citi Dividend Platinum Select - $100 Cash Back offers a cash back program and one of the longest intro APR periods for a cash back card of this type. The downside of this card is that the cash back you can earn is capped at $300 per year (excluding the $100 cash back with this offer), so if you are a big spender you might want to consider the Citi® Double Cash Card , a partner card. On the other hand, if you would like to make a big ticket purchase and want a card that gives you a long intro APR on purchases as well as cash back and rewards, then this Citi Dividend Card is a card to consider. This card offer is currently unavailable!
