I started this long ago when I was tired of cleaning up the drips of ice cream cones... I place either a chunk of a large marshmallow or 1 mini marshmallow at the bottom of the sugar cone and it stops the ice cream from dripping, it also absorbs the ice cream and is soo tasty to eat when you get down to the bottom. =) mmmmm!

When I am holding the sugar cone in one hand, I cover the hole at the bottom with a finger and squeeze some of this in at the bottom and let it dry for a few seconds. And thats all, but the trick is getting the kids to perfect licking it without dripping that everywhere,

These wrappers are a great way of stopping the ice cream from dripping out the bottom, but the girls below are right, eater faster or teach the kids how to eat in a cleaning kinda of "shrink the ice cream" way. make sure to get the sides or a protector wont prevent it from dripping all over.

These are soooo good!!! wowzas! lol The cones with hardened chocolate at the bottom definitely drip less then the average plain cone. And its a wonderful surprise at the end just when you think the best parts over.
Lol. That's what I was thinking...Or...I have heard of people putting marshmellows at the bottom of the cones, which doesn't prevent ice cream permanently but temporarily while you take your time eating the yummy ice cream. Another option is a napkin wrapped around the outside of the cone.

This is so tasty! I love s'mores and even better, at the end of my ice cream cone...I like to savor the flavors of mine rather then chowing down like a beast and not appreciating the flavors... this works great!!

This flavor is so good! I sometimes coat marshmallows with the hard chocolate and them use that as an ice cream topping. Sooo good!! This is a great idea to stopping the drips at the bottom too as long as you fill the bottom part good enough.
