Not only one of my favorite war movies, but one of my favorite movies all time period.
Amazing special effects and a touching storyline, in traditional Speilberg style.
Extreme action is counteracted with a beautiful story line about trying to save the last remaining of 4 brothers.
The soundtrack in particular is beautiful.
10/10.
I don't cry at movies, especially girly flicks which are meant to make you cry but I walk out of the theater like a little baby after this movie. It was amazing, real, touching, and maddening. Best movie ever made, hands down!

Best war movie/mini series EVER. It's the true story of the 101st airborne division who are attributed as being one of the most important outfits in bringing down the Nazi regime.
Amazing stories throughout. You really get to know the characters in depth, which is different than most 2 or 3 hour war movies. There are interviews with the actual members of the 101st, too, which is just incredible to hear first hand what they went through. The fact that it's based on true events and real people in mind blowing.
It's humbling to think about what these brave young men did for our country.
I was actually pretty impressed with this series. I was sad to see it end. I've not seen any of the Interviews or anything but the series itself was pretty amazing and from I'm told pretty accurate.
