I love this watch, a lot. It's so god to look at, and it's super functional. It's water resistant to 660 feet, which is 21 times more then you need, but my philosophy is go big or go home.

Do you surf? Well even if you don't this watch is the best price for an ocean watch, I think it is waterproof to 300ft, so 30ft is not problem with it. I think the main thing though if you are looking to be in the ocean is to make sure the watch is resilient to the oceans salt water. A lot of waterproof watches are not great for the ocean because the salt eats away at the straps. this one is made of polyurethane which is great for the ocean. I think the best feature this watch has is the automatic tide system feature. Let me know if this helped because I know a lot about watches.
