Two words: HOT. TODDY.
I looooove me a hot toddy!
This is by far my favorite holiday drink. It just reeks of holiday fun! It's actually a Scottish drink.
Ingredients include (but aren't limited to):
Whisky
Hot Water
Honey
fresh lemon juice
cloves
zest of lemon
Now if that doesn't sound fresh and delicious, I don't know what does.

YOu should totally make some Wassail! I've always been apprehensive about making it because it has eggs in it (wtf???) But it sounds fun and exciting.

I generally drink coffee with a little Kahlua in it but for the Holidays I spice it up, so to speak, with Bailey's or Irish Whiskey or better yet Irish Cream. For the Irish Cream:
Ingredients
1 cup strong brewed coffee
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger Irish cream liqueur
Directions
Pour hot brewed coffee into a mug. Stir in Irish Cream.
Delicious!

My husband loves Eggnog, warm or cold so during the holidays he'll warm up a large batch and add rum. It's actually very good and definitely feels very festive!

This is an awesome recipe! I think hard cider is like the best part of the holidays!
When I was young my neighbors used to have an annual neighborhood holiday party and they always had hot cider on the stove...this is closest recipe I can find to what they made. Soooo good.
