This sled is NICE. It looks gorgeous right out of the box. Beautiful stained wood. One of the prettier sleds I've ever seen, I have to say.
It's designed like a runner sled, with the front turning apparatus, only instead of runners there are panels.
It rips down the mountain, especially if the snow is pretty well packed already. It's really fun being able to steer your sled so well.... gives the whole sledding thing a whole different spin!

Gotta love a sled that slides down a hill with ease, and you won't be able to know whether or not you can truly steer it on the way down. Lol. Ah, childhood memories.
I had one of these as a kid and it was awesome!!! Although we would sneak over to the next neighborhood and sled down the huge hill, RIGHT in the middle of the street, which in hindsight was a bad idea, but it was pretty exhilarating how fast we would go!
I know these are kind of boring, but I always seem to get going the fastest on these, not to mention I feel like I have the most control. They are just your most basic plastic sled, but the design is perfect for flying down hills fast.
these are super fun and fast, but obviously you have to use them on the right type of snow! Don't use it on 1/2 inch of snow in your back yard, on the twigs and sticks and stuff, and expect it to survive, okay?! it's inflatable!
if you use it on soft snow you will love how fast it goes! you start bouncing around and flying off and stuff. awesome.
I like the old, traditional style toboggans. I don't see them often but they are out there. Big 5 often has them and then of course you can also look on craigslist.com or ebay.com. They are the fastest and the most fun of all sledding machines.
