I recently started training for a marathon and had previously had difficulty with runners knee. A friend suggested I try these and let me tell you, it was a world of difference. I have flat feet and these provide an amazing cushion of support that made running for longer distances much more comfotable. Honestly running on a treadmill felt like running on grass with these on.
One thing I can recommend though is to try a size up from your normal street shoes, for some reason running shoes tend to be slimmer so if you have wider feet, you could have some discomfort with your regular size.
