Killing for Sport: Inside the Minds of Serial Killers
Killing for Sport is the most valuable insight into the minds of serial killers you'll ever read. While other profilers tend to conceal the clear facts behind complex technical language and psychobabble, Pat Brown actually tells it like it is. Kil... read more...

This is not necessarily a happy read, but its unusually interesting to know what really goes on in the minds of these serial killers. There are some thoughts and people you would not suspect are real. It's disturbing and a little graphic so beware before reading this but I think we should all be educated on this so that we can be aware and really keep our eyes open because it could be someone close, or you could look like someone they don't like....

My wife says that Gerald's Game is sort of a psychological thriller. About a woman and her husband who get away for a weekend to try "new" things. The husband handcuffs the wife to the bedpost and shortly after the wife accidently kills her husband. Stephen King does a good job of taking you through all of the mental things that go through the wife's head while she tries to escape for the next 28 hours only to suddenly remember things about her father and her younger childhood. It was a well put together book. My wife couldn't sleep for weeks!

I always liked reading Horror stories and when I read this one, I think I should have gotten therapy just for reading it. lol Its pretty scary. I made a mistake by reading it when I did because I had totally forgotten about the road trip my family had planned about 21 hours away from home and I knew there were quite a few trucks stops between point A and Point B. So yeah, don't read this if you plan on enjoying your road trip drive. ha ha ha! It really well written though and keeps your interested, definitely does not get boring. I'd say give it a try, it's a pretty crazy story.

For a Pschological Thriller, this has got to be the best one for you. It have a twisted story and within it, there is sexual slavery, murder and more! This is a nail biter that is easy to read and quite addicting, hard to put down. A horrifying story with some humor and political content. It has everything you fear from jails to murders to prostitution and a broken family trying to find their way back to each other in once piece.

This is a book on the psychological ways that humans can be "trained" or "Conditioned" to become killers whether its legal or illegal. A pretty scary truth about video games and the military both contributing to create "killers."

This is a crazy book! I read it 2 years ago and it was creepy! After I finished it, I started viewing the world differently. I thought, who could I trust? Are they a serial Killer? Be careful who you talk crap to... I really look at the world differently and in fear because I had no idea about what goes on in a killers head but this gives you an example and it's really a sad thing that people are so troubled they would need to kill another innocent human being. Well, I could go on, but this is a scary but REAL and informative book.
