Most acne cleansers contain an ingredient that will dry up the skin (EX: Salicylic Acic, Benzoyl peroxide etc...) because thats the way to reduce oil from causing the breakout. The problem is, when the skin dry's out too much, the sebaceous glands which produce oil in the skin start working over time, producing even more oil and eventually start causing the major breakouts in the skin. You do not want to get rid of the oil in the skin, you actually still want to keep moisture in the skin to prevent any of this skin confusion, so This Cetaphil is the best for your acne problems. Cleansing with something something mild and moisturizing daily will help significantly reduce your acne breakouts.

I have been using this since I was a kid and Its always kept my skin clear. The smell is invigorating and soothing to the skin. It removes all my make-up and dirt, without removing all my skins natural oils so it leaves me with a clear complexion. It is also good to have in the summer when you have a sunburn, the menthol in it soothes the burned skin. A big jar for a good deal.

I a a big fan of St. Ives. If you are fighting every day dirt and oils that can cause acne, I can't recommend St. Ives enough. You should still combine with a gentle moisturizer for best results.

This is some of my favorite face wash for acne and for oily skin. It doesn't over dry my skin but does leave it feeling fresh and very clean. There is some kind of granule that softly scrubs away blemishes and blackheads. It also smells delicious. I use this with the other products in the same line. It's great stuff.

Ok... this is the number one dermatologist recommended acne treatment.. enough said. I use it once a day before I go to bed and it really keeps my skin clear. It doesn't dry me out and, since it's oil free, it doesn't leave my already somewhat oily skin any oilyer. Neutrogena makes lots of awesome products, and this is certainly one of them.

I've always loved the smell of this stuff since I was a youngster. My mom always bought it and I used it because that was all there was. It feels good on my face, very fresh but it continues to keep my skin clear and soft.

growing up, this was a common household item for facial cleansing, mostly because of my mom, but I always used it and my skin has always been great. My skin is normally a little oily and this doesnt make it more oily, it balances my skins oils very well. Never really had to worry about acne.

My Dermatologist always recommends this cleanser for acne or sensitive skin. It cleared up my skin great as soon as I switched, took about 3 days of not using those acne cleansers that dry out my face and make me all red. This makes my skin soft and smooth too. Love it.

I have been using this since I was 12 years old starting to get acne, my derm told me about it and boy did it make a difference. Since then I am happy so say my skin is acne free and I get compliments all the time on how great my skin looks. I just tell them, "All I use is Cetaphil" and they are surprised but it's true. I cant recommend it enough.

I have always had combination skin (oily and dry) in certain areas of my face. I tried everything to help balance the oils... I tried neutrogena which make me so stiff feeling and red, it over dried my skin, then I tried apricot scrub but the granuals or "scrub" irritated my acne even more, well I tried many others that just didnt work for me. A friend told me about Cetaphil and when I felt it, it didnt seem like it would help at all, its very plain and slippery and doesnt foam (which I learned later that foam is not good either, dries you out), but I stuck to that for a week to see the outcome and it helps so much. This has been a pain in the butt searching for the perfect cleanser and I'm so happy I found one for my skin type.

I agree with the girls here, this is a great cleanser for most all skin types. For my older aging skin, I feel it gives me back some moisture after cleansing and its not rough or irritating on my skin. I like it a lot.

I don't like the fancy face cleansers because they are usually over rated and usually contain way too many chemicals. This Cetaphil does exactly what it's supposed to, cleanse the dirt from my skin without leaving residue or clogging pores. It's simple and it works. period.

I might be somewhat of an "OCD/ Germaphobe", but I personally like the feeling of the scrub massaging my skin to let me know that it is actually working and removing dirt and pollution from my face especially around my nose. I also recommend getting a facial at least once a month. Facials will help maintain the cleanliness and clearness of your skin.

Be carful with the ones with the grains of sand as this one has, I did a lot of research and they say the little grains actually scratch your face doing a lot of damage and ruin peoples skin. I would not advice this one.
