If you want serious performance, like hard core gaming and stuff, then it's not for you. But your question just asks what the best Laptop for travelling is, and MBA is certainly one of the best.
It's not even an inch thick, weighs 2.4 pounds, and has a durable unibody design , which holds up quite well in travel situations.
Like I said, it's not super powerful, but it's good for staying connected while on the road, maybe doing some work, some emails, or watching some movies or listening to music. It has flash memory, which not only starts up super fast but is good for travel in that there are no moving parts.

I feel like this laptop would fit you needs quite perfectly. Not only does it have enough power to run various games, but the battery-life is extremely long.
