What is the best hunting boots for a hunt in the mountains?

I am going to be hunting stone sheep this fall and I am looking for the best boot out there. I want to get them bought so I can break them in. I want something that is both comfortable and functional. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have been very pleased with these boots on multiple levels. They are Scentlok so you don't have to worry about the smell of your feet spoking your animals. They are water proof and very warm. I have used these to hike on multiple trips with no blisters. They were very easy to break in and so far they have performed in every situation I have thrown at them(Hunting and Hiking). After a year of hard use some of the stitching came loose, but I was able to have a local shoe guy fix it. It probably would have been fine, but I didn't want to take the chance of being stranded with a broken boot. These are worth a look.

I bought these boots for my husband. He really likes them. He wanted something that had a little bit higher support than his old boots. They are waterproof and he said that have some kind of scent inhibitor for when he is hunting. I know he has used them successfully on multiple hunting and fishing trips now. I always ask him how the boots held up and he always says they are awesome. These might be perfect for you.

My dad used to live in these when he was hunting all the time. He said they let his feet breath but they are quiet as a mouse, so the animals wouldn't be scared off. He said these were his best boots he's ever owned. Mom never knew exactly why, but I tried them on one day and I can see why.

I took these boots to Alaska last year during the fall. They were perfect. They performed as I expected them too, but more importantly they kept my feet warm in the morning/night and were not too hot in the afternoon. I trekked multiple miles a day in these bad boys with no major issues. My only complaint is that they were a little stiff out of the box. It took a day or two to break them in, but now they fit my feet perfect. You should defiantly check these out.

Love these boots. Love their classic look, and they do hold up really well if you step in some puddles out there. I even wear them for riding, they are that comfortable.

These are surprisingly comfortable for their enormous size. They're snake boots. They are designe to keep you from getting bitten... a genuine concern in some parts of the country. Look into these if there are going to be and nasty slitherin snakes where you go hunting.
They are made of goretex so you know they will be light and durable. They are designed to be worn all day on the trail... you could even hike in these bad boys.
