What is the best hand percussion shaker?

I like these wooden shakers. They have a bigger, more organic sound. I also think they look better...like if you're planning on using it on stage, this would be the way to go. Pretty loud.

These are pretty nice but also pretty quiet. They're ideal for studio work and acoustic gigs and that sort of thing. Plus, take off the rubber band and you've got yourself two shakers!
