This doesn't sit directly on the page, but it actually hangs from your neck and is suspended directly over the page. I like it because I don't have to pick it up every time I want to turn the page. This is great! It really magnifies the page a lot and eases the stress on my eyes, which is the reason I bought it. Obviously just don't move around too much when you're wearing it or it will jiggle around and won't be quite as useful!

This is what you'll want because I've tried those full page plastic ones and they are useless because they A) are made of plastic so they actually make the page less clear, and B) they are not rigid so they tend to bend which further distorts the image. A rigid one is what you need.
Keep in mind you have to keep it suspended over the page to be of any use, so these can be quiet cumbersome in general.

For some reason I couldn't post this above, but this one works well because it's rigid and won't bend over when you're trying to use it!
