You wanted the best, I can assure you this is pretty much the best out there. I can't afford this one so I bought a cheaper suunto which I am really happy with, it has lasted me several years. What type of budget are you working with? This Suunto is especially good because it has all the bells and whistles you could ned but it is also stylish so you can use if for extreme sports but also use it just look good.

Its a solar powered watch so it recharges itself from sun exposure and even indoor lighting. It sync's itself to your timezone and you can set it to see any world timezone you want. G-shocks are built sturdy and this one is no exception, good to look at as well. And of course you dont have to worry about setting it for daylight savings, thats auto-matic as well.

I'm not sure what you'd be using your digital watch for but I generally use mine for sports or when I'm going hiking or general outdoor activities. I love Timex. This one in particular I got because it also has the added advantage of heart rate monitor. It's an Ironman trainer watch so you can count your laps or HB per lap, etc. It's a great all around type of watch or sports trainer.
