What is the best deal on a 42" LCD TV right now?

Ha I only say that because it seems TCL doesn't have very good quality assurance. They make a great television but send out some duds occasionally (some just flat out don't work, DOA). That should be okay though because they do include a 2 year warranty and that should cover any problems that might occur.
Why am I still recommending this thing then? Well you asked for a deal, and this is a screaming deal...... $350 for a 40" LCD screen with 1080p HD resolution.
I don't think for the price you will find anything better! (I hope yours works though...)

I'd say this is your best deal because of it's price to feature to quality set. Great color and sharp image quality, not to mention 3D and WiFi. Screams value.

The 42" Toshiba 42TL515U is available for $678 at Walmart. A Panasonic 42" 1080P 120hz is on sale for $500 at Kmart right now.

This is the one I have and I am totally happy with it.
I think Vizio is a good option if you have budget in mind. They make a great TV at a reasonable price. 1080p, LCD, 40 inches, it seems to be just what you need.
