I love these shoes they are the best for bad weather running. They have a good amount of tread so slipping is never a problem, They have a waterproof seal that works quite well as long as you don't completely submerge your foot in water.... so just watch where you are going.
They aren't particularly breathable because they have that waterproof coating, but I don't mind because it's cold and wet in the winter and I need my feet to be happy.

This is an interesting question because I've never seen anything quite like that. I like to run year round, and need something that can keep my feet dry and warm. Last year I used these through the winter time and they worked pretty well for me.... especially the keeping me dry part. They aren't wonderfully warm, but it's nothing that some wool socks can't fix.
They are quite waterproof actually, and work pretty well for the occasional splashes or moisture you find on a freshly plowed street, or what have you. Obviously some moisture will get in if higher up on the shoe.
As far as fit, they are very comfortable but a little on the narrow side. The tread is adequate for snow because it's a trail runner. It's a bit heavier than other trail runners I've used, but it's also a little more heavy duty, so I'm ok with it.
Over all it the best winter running shoe I've found, although I am hoping there's something out there that is specifically designed for winter running.

awesome running shoe for cold weather. the only high top running shoe I've ever had and I love it. it's water resistant, but definitely not water proof, so try to stay out of them puddles!
I like the high tops because I can wear long warm socks underneath to keep my feet war, and they are cushioned around the ankle which I enjoy.
The tread is ok but admittedly not amazing for slippery conditions. I would say this shoe is pretty well suited for winter time running, though, based on how warm and dry my feet stay during the run.

These are so great for cold weather, rain, sun, etc. They are very comfortable, don't make your feet hurt, nothing to worry about as far as arches go, and have terrific traction. They look odd, I understand that, but they are really best for your feet. I totally believe that. I have a pair for summer and a pair for winter. I wouldn't run with anything else.

I think this is an excellent shoe for trail running, bad weather running, any running really! Comfortable and light, and actually quite waterproof, at least in my experience thus far, after 4 months.
They won't keep you particularly warm, but you'll be running and wearing socks so you should be okay unless you live in Alaska.

This is a great Brand. I run during all seasons and since my foot is slightly larger then the average woman, I use these mens running shoes. They are comfortable, water proof and great for all seasons.
