I am not a professional chef, but I do enough cooking that I like to have quality utensils. This knife is one of the best I have had. I could never justify spending the money on a Wusthofs and Henckel. I feel like this knife easily competes with the higher end stuff. It is easy to sharpen and it stays sharp. All and all I don't think you will find a better product in this price range.

I love my Papered Chef Knives. They are made of amazing steel and the handles are so strong and powerful. I have a larger carving knife and a smaller utility knife but need to get a couple more for paring and other. The quality is amazing. I wouldn't recommend them for dishwashers because they do rust if they sit too long but I think that's par for the course with quality knives. I hand wash mine and they still look pretty after 2 years of constant use. I also purchased a knife sharpener to keep them in tip top shape.

This is a great all purpose chef knife. I've had it about 2 years. I'm no pro, just a guy who loves to cook, and to me there is absolutely nothing wrong with this knife. It is sharp, comfortable to grip, sturdy, and cuts stuff. Perfect.
I don't really have any expectations in a knife, so this works perfectly for me.

Let's be honest, this knife looks kind of cheap with the plastic handle and overall design.
Upon receiving it for a gift last Christmas I was a little unsure what to think at first.
However, this knife freakin rocks and is amazingly sharp and I love it!
It is my new go to knife.
It holds a sharp edge for a long time. The stupid plastic handle is quite comfortable and totally durable.
For under 30, this is your best bet.

Kyoceras live up to their expectations! They are great knives! These are incredibly sharp knives. I mean wow they are sharp.
The handle is comfortable and solid, however when it gets wet it is a slippery. All around good knife.
