I really do love my Lucky jeans. I feel like they just know how to make good-looking jeans for women. They are also made well. I used to buy cheaper, off brand jeans, or rely on Old Navy, but when I bought brand name, it got hard to look back. While pricier, they just last longer.
These are right a the top of your price range, but you can usually find them for under 150 dollars on Amazon. 7 For all Mankind make some great jeans. It is hard to review jeans, because what works for one person might not work for another person. For me these work great and they give great shape to my lower half. I love the way they fit and nothing feels better than a pair of jeans that fit perfect. I hope these work for you too.

If you've got some curves, I really love CK jeans. By no means do you need to go Plus Size, they also have stretch models that I think look good on just about everyone.
I liked it because it was a list made for people with a reasonable amount of money to spend. It doesn't do any good to make a list of the best jeans if only the top 5% of society can afford to buy the jeans of that list. This list Is a little more down to earth and should have something that will work for you. I personally am a big fan of Lucky jeans, but everyone is a little different and just like Casey said there are so many possibilities out there you will eventually find something that works for you.
