I think I might stick with the classic black. It would be easy enough to dress it up or down for work or for something more formal. This particular bow tie is a modern clip on but there are those you have to hand tie as well that would be nice too. Amazon has a pretty big selection but you could go to your local mall and try a few one as well to see what you might like better. I hope it's a great time.

A bow tie is a great idea to dress up a casual look!

Try not to make it stand out too much, if you are tying it, but a louder tie would work well if you hang it untied casually around your neck. Dresses down the tie a bit, adds a great accent, and looks good.
