this is my first time using a '____ for dummies' book and I am quite pleased with it! They obviously hire knowledgable people to write it, and it's put together in such a way that is easy to follow and understand. A great way to learn gardening basics.

I loved this book. It is definitely a new way of gardening but it's been effective I'll never do it any other way. As a test I did two different gardens with the same seedlings. So one garden was traditional with regular moist soil as I would normally use and the other garden went right off of what the author of Lasagna Gardening told me to do. By far less weeds and much healthier crop in the Lasagna garden. I was blown away. It's really a great book.

if you are at all interested in growing some veggies i can't think of a better book than this one! this guy is a genius and he really knows what he's talking about when it comes to gardening, and especially vegetable gardening.
