This is one my friend wears and recommended. She a runner and loves these for the lightweight and vents to prevent any kind of athletes foot fungus. They dont give her blisters and dont pinch her skin at all. She really recommends these for comfortable running and healthy feet.

I do really like these shoes but I find I can't go super long distances in them. At about four miles, my feet do get a bit sore, but they are different and free-feeling as opposed to other traditional shoes.

Time gave Vibram an award for one of the best inventions of 2007. I have a pair, and they do feel good to run, but like any shoes, I did have to break them in/ get used to them. There are even grooves on the soul of the foot for traction, and I haven't yet had to replace them.

Depending on the fit, the Vibram Five Finger shoes are my favorite. I have tried different pairs but I think these Treksports are my favorite but my wife prefers the Sprint shoe also by VFF. They are very lightweight have the perfect amount of traction to keep me on my feet through the rainy streets. I love the feel of the ground beneath my feet and this provides me that advantage with a little protection. They are machine washable and it is highly recommended that you not be afraid to wash them. They can work up quite a stink. I think you're supposed to air dry them but my wife has made the mistake of putting them in the dryer before and they came out fine. Great, great shoes.

I used these as a transition shoe. I wasn't all that confident that I could go straight to barefoot/and or Five Finger shoes. I found these to be the perfect medium. They protect my feet but they still leave a barefoot imprint when I am running on the beach. Overall I am glad I made the switch. My body feels much more natural when I run and I have been able to add miles to my weekly routine. These were a solid investment.

The deep grooves in the Nike Free shoe are what allows for more free running movement. They are SO comfortable. They feel like walking on air. I wear them even when I am not running.

I read somewhere that these are very healthy for the athletes foot. I'm not a woman, so I don't know how these pair feel, but they seem very popular and the articles I read say they are the new "Health" Shoe.
