This is a good TV in this price range. Inexpensive, good color, lots of picture options, matte screen, built in WiFi, and a programmable remote. It has a large screen and a thin profile. It's a good looking TV with a really good feature set. Can't go wrong.

1500 sounds like too small of a budget. Raise to 2000 and you can get something amazing form Panasonic/LG (plasma). And I don't think you should get an LED. I sure hope you know what LED actually is. It's nothing that raises quality overall, it's a way to lure customers. An LED-screen is just an LCD-screen with LED-lighting in the frame. Nothing special. :)
