Sharp's Quattron has been rated very highly in terms of image quality (was it CNET that I saw that?). I would say it's one of the best actually.
This 60 inch beast has everything.... 1080p, 3D capable, 240Hz refresh rate, built-in wifi, and an outstanding picture. There is a slew of features that come with it, and as one reviewer put it, it's probably the best deal per square inch.
Also worth mentioning is there are TONS of inputs/outputs (anything you could imagine!) and the unit itself looks very nice, with the thin bezel and all.
Sharps are noted for having, well, very sharp displays. Aptly named, Sharp. Aptly named.

This is an awesome TV. It has amazing picture quality for both 2D and 3D and brilliant color. WiFi and WiFi dongle are included, audio sound isn't half bad considering, and the menu system is very friendly. Unfortunately, 3D glasses are not included. It's kind of a bummer to have to invest more but at least you can pick your own quality.
