These are great and easily under $100!
I bought mine about 3 years ago and to my surprise it is still going strong. I like it specifically because it is very powerful and helps to make short work of my drying routine. I guess I would say it's on the heavyish side, but not too bad. I have a lot of hair to dry and I never get worn out or anything. It's worth the extra $20 to get out of the $25 range because you get a much higher quality product.

This is a great semi-professional dryer. I say semi-pro because it has all the features of a pro dryer but not the high price. This, in turn, means the quality won't be as high as certain pro models but you should get a lot of good use out of it anyways.
It has some nice attachments (watch out though! they get hot!!!) and 4 speed/heat settings. Its 1875 watts will definitely provide enough power for you, and it has that ceramic technology which is supposed to distribute heat more evenly I guess?
Great deal for under $100...and it looks mighty fine as well!

It definitely doesn't take a lot of expense to get a great hair dryer. My wife loves Revlon hair dryers, though. Swears by them. It's the only brand she has purchased since she was able to purchase them herself at 16. Says they have the most power to efficiency. Her hair is long and thick and these seem to dry her hair the quickest. She loves the many settings and options they provide as well.
I don't know if you can find a Moroccan Oil or FHI Heat blow dryer for under $100, but they are both awesome products. They are actually the same exact product, sold under 2 different names. It's a professional drier and it is awesome. I think the Moroccan Oil brand is a lot cheaper than FHI Heat (not sure why) but I would check there first.
Ok so I don't know if you are anything like me, but I have a lot of hair and need a dryer with some OOMF to it, so that is why I am recommending this one.
It's large and kind of heavy but it has a big strong motor that moves a lot of air. I love it for that! Really speeds up my dry time.
I am definitely happy with this hair dryer and would certainly think you would be, too!
