A great puzzle game where you use portable portals to complete the puzzles. It just came out with a free map editor on steam and is on sale for only $7 on steam as well!
I know we see this game come up quite frequently on this website, but that's because it's really fun and a hell of a deal for $20 or whatever they want for it.
There are lot of good multiplayer games on Steam and Steam interface is really slick. Portal 2, Killing Floor, they finally added fun multiplayer for Mount and Blade in Fire and Sword and Total War: Shogun 2. Hm.
What about Portal 2? My wife and I enjoy playing this together. It's funny to look over at her face when we are facing a puzzle that neither of us can figure. Kind of nice to brainstorm together and get the job done. One of the more fun one's.
If there is one game that everyone needs to play, it's Portal 2. It has an engrossing story, clever puzzles and a very detailed level editor mode. It's also a steal for $29.99 on Steam right now.
