This is really cool and who knew they had these? My nephew peed in his bed until he was 9 years old and so my brother bought this and basically is had a vibration and/or alarm that goes off when the boy pees in his pull-up diaper or underwear. After a few nights of being woken up with less and less pee each night because he would finish peeing in the bathroom, he would go to the restroom and clean himself up. At 2 weeks, he stopped peeing in the bed and is so proud of himself. He just slept so heavy and dreamt he was using the restroom, this unit helped him wake up to use the restroom.

I bought one of these for my 85 year old mother in law, as I was taking care of her and thought that this would be a good solution! this exceeded my expectations! and work fantastic, and when it says its waterproof, it truly is, I have had no issues. But this does not solve the bed wetting problems only solves the wetness issue, maybe there are some books. Also try to make him go to the bathroom immediately before he goes to bed!

Oh shoot. jut saw someone posted a similar one but this one works well. My grandmother used it and her actual bed mattress never got wet. Its vinyl on the layer closest to the bed so it absorbs the pee then prevents it from going further into the bed. A great way to protect the bed while training your lil one, or grandma in my case =)

Just give him some big boy diapers to wear, this is very common actually. It's usually stress induced and when they hit a certain age of being more confident at school or whatever is worrying him, he will grow out of it. Hey sometimes its really just a dream of using the bathroom, I've done it and I'm grown! lol

LOL, thank you, but this horrifies me to make him wear diapers to bed, I feel as if this will lower his self esteem.

My grandmother had one of these and always told me to use it even if its not for wetting the bed because it preserves the mattress's life. So I have them all on the kids beds and ours and a few of my lil ones did have an accident in the bed and that mattress cover saved us! Thanks Grandma!

This really did help my son overcome this issue. We also used homeopathic tablets which seemed to help in the process also.

What type of homeopathic tablets did you use if I may ask?

Thank you ladies! is there anything I can do that doesn't mean I have to buy anything? I am sure there are strategies aimed at making this a natural process, I may be wrong, but that is what I was really looking for.

I'm sure you've already taken a lot of necessary steps but have you tried cutting out the drinking after dinner? I know for my daughter that sometimes she get so wrapped up in what she's doing that she doesn't take the time to use the bathroom, even if she needs to go. She doesn't wet the bed often but when she does it's generally because her little mind didn't want to take time out to use the bathroom so we've stopped drinks after dinner just to help with that process...

Its a common problem and unfortunately an alarm wont help. We ended up getting night time diapers for our boy and we just waited...eventually he stopped. Hang in there!

If you are really trying to stop the bed wetting all together rather then just clean it up constantly, this is the best idea. It pre-warns the person before they actually urinate in the bed, waking them up with a sound or movement. Its worked great on several friends kids.

If its happening constantly then I think this is the solution for your problem. You can save the mattress, which is usually kinda high in price.
