Whoa, it seems like there is a price lock/ monopoly on these things. Everywhere I looked it was listed for the same price of $54.95. Maybe try ebay for a better price on a slightly used board?
I think Lindsay said it best. You might want to consider looking for a used board.(Ebay, Craigslist, Local shop or club etc.) You can always try to talk a friend into going in on it(Split the cost). They seem a little overpriced, but if you are doing a lot of climbing than it looks like this could be a really vital tool.
The consensus is correct. It won't matter where you look, you're going to pay the same price it's just a matter of deciding which one you might want. Honestly, you know what you're looking for so the $55 doesn't seem so steep. It's another product that I might not go used on, however, so that's something to consider.
If you are open to other companies you could try this training board from Revolution. It's very similar and way cheaper. Great for finger strength and campusing practice and whatnot.
