Here's a nice deep fryer for you. It's great for its simplicity. The dials are obvious and general use is super easy. So is cleaning...it all disassembles for cleaning. Great deal!

I would choose this over the TFal, only because I have owned some of their products in the past and have been very pleased with them. I don't know much about deep fryers but they make a hell of a blender!

I think this looks like a good choice, although I don't own the thing. So take my advice with a grain of salt.
I trust the T-Fal name, and by the pictures and specs this seems like it would be a wonderful machine.
Keep in mind there is some work that goes into this whole deep fry thing. You need like 3 liters of oil. It needs to be heated and cooled and kept somewhere, plus the thing needs to be cleaned. Oh yeah and it won't smell very good...
I'm not trying to dissuade you, just be ready to deal some labor!

I bought the T-Fal fryer based on reviews for my wife. It's been a great appliance. Be very careful not to over fill it, however, or you'll have a huge mess on your counter to clean and anyone can attest to how gross oil is to clean up. It's a pretty decent size, not too big, not too small and most everything can be cleaned in the dishwasher which is really nice if it's my day for clean up! It's a great gadget.

If I were to buy one it would be this one!
I like the easy clean oil drain thingy they've got going on... by far the worst part of deep frying is dealing with all that oil, so I'm glad they have though of a good way yo deal with it.
It also has an adjustable temperature, digital timer, and mesh basket that rotates to use less oil.
Seems like a real winner to me.

this does seem like a nice set up/clean up procedure they have figured out here.

I have this one and it gets the job done, while being very affordable. Due to it's low volume, it doesn't work well with entertaining, but it is great for one to two people.

There is only an on/off setting (really it is plugged in or not), and no temp adjustment, so watch your recipies, some products may need to be pre-cooked
