I'm looking for an old-school style hiking boot for this winter...any idea on where I can get some?

You could try these Merrells. I'm sure they will be very nice, but they are also very expensive!
A great looking shoe though, whew I want to get me a pair.

I guess it really depends on if you are looking for function or fashion, but if you are going for fashion, I really think these are adorable.

When I think old school I always think of Columbia first. This is one you can wear almost anywhere, not just hiking. It's waterproof, provided ample ankle support and has terrific traction. My dad still wear Columbia's when he camps or hikes. Finds them to be easy to work in and they are very comfortable.
