Well this is nothing like Jillian's 30 day shred! But it is an amazing workout/relaxation technique that I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a low impact, feel good routine.
It's really easy to follow and do the routines, Brooke makes it simple. It's fun and helps me get centered every morning before work.
It's perfect for fighting off the wintertime blues!

I think pilates is awesome... try yoga, too. Once you get going you'll be hooked.

I don't know if you're into the 'Jackie' movies but this girl kicks your butt. Her workouts are intense!
This one is 30 minutes, so it's short and sweet. I say sweat it out and get it over with quick!
This routine works your whole body and after you will feel like a huge piece of jello...just so worn out you can't even move. That's how I feel at least!

I HIGHLY suggest this weight training book (sorry, it's not a video!) by Joan Pagano. This lady really knows what she is talking about. All you need is some weights, some space, and some determination!
This is like the Bible of weight training for women. It's a comprehensive guide to everything weight training. There are so many routines and workouts in here, you will definitely find some that work for you.
Pagano is incredibly thorough with her descriptions, so you will find that you are gaining knowledge as well as burning calories. She gives you health information you can use across the board, rather than just exercises.
The book is put together in a well organized fashion that makes it very accessible. It is well written and interesting, and the explanations are very well thought out. Also, the pictures really show exactly what you need to be doing.
I love this book, and think weight training is the way to go!

I've never tried this but it's on my list to do next. I like to change up the workouts that I do so if you've already tried Jillian's shred video I'd try some Jackie or this Tracy Anderson. There are a few different ones to choose from. The cool thing about her videos is that they target the secondary muscles so you won't bulk and will build muscles you didn't even know existed. Another neat feature is that they have dance moves so it's something different.

Jillian Michaels will indeed help you feel the burn. She has videos to help you target certain "problem areas" as well.
