I bought this stool for my girlfriend and it's great. She likes to cut hair at home, like a hobby. She's really good and decided to go to an Aveda institute, so I bought this for her as a gift. She loves it. It is perfect for home use. It is fairly comfortable and easily goes up and down. A great budget buy.

I think for your home maybe something a little more compact would be most beneficial so these chairs might just be perfect. They are still completely adjustable but they are lightweight and easily portable. The only thing missing is the back but I'm sure whomever is sitting their won't mind too much. My sister actually has something similar at her house. She works in a salon but when she's home she likes her family and friends to be comfortable.

I don't own this thing but it looks like a good chair! It's got a hydraulic lift and a foot rest. It's padded, which your clients will appreciate!!! I think the price is right, too.
