Here's a universal one that will fit your car. I can't comment on the quality, but it's a great price. You should maybe call a local mechanic and see what their recommended brands are. If you get a crappy one it might not last very long and then you'll be right back where you started!
If it were me, I would buy on this website because they have a ton of useful information about cats... use it to make the best possible purchase.
I think a direct fit is the way to go. If you click on the link then on your exact Jeep model you will find a nice suggestion for you. For around $130 you can get a pretty nice cat. Installing it will require some welding and metal work, so take it to a pro if you don't have the right skills!
Here are a few specifically built for you model of Jeep. They also seem pretty reasonably priced. If you can, I would go for the one modeled specifically for your car.
This is a great quality converter for your Jeep and only a few cents over $100. It's made with high quality materials so it protects against corrosion, the case is made from stainless steel, and the tubing and shield are made from aluminized steel. It's made specific for your year grouping so installation will be easy.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I know that in some areas the price for scrap metal is really high, and when that happens people will do anything to cash in on it, even at other people expense.
Anyway, check out this link... it says this universal catalytic converter will fit your Jeep.
Good luck with the repairs!
