I haven't used these myself, but I have a friend who lost some hearing due to a car accident, and he is using these. He says the sound quality is excellent.

My mom is using this brand. Very small, but not invisible. Work well, and a nice price point.

A friend of mine uses this one and he hasn't complained about it. Its invisible unless you are staring right at the ear from a foot away. But I can say its been better conversation with him now that he can actually hear what I'm saying.
