I really like roguelikes, like Dungeons of Dredmore, are there any other easy to understand roguelikes out there?

Any pokemon mystery dungeon, actually. The only difference between red and blue is red is on the Gameboy Advance and blue is on the NDS. Time and Darkness are both NDS.

I can name three Elona, Desktop Dungeons and Tales of Maj'eyal
Elona is a bit of an info dump to start with but can be easily understood after awhile
Tales of Maj'eyal is fairly simple to learn. it can also be incredibly complex so take heed.
Desktop dungeons (The free version anyways) is incredibly easy to learn and can be played over a short amount of time.

I played a bit of Slash'Em when I was bored, but the skill level seemed higher than that of Dungeons of Dredmore.

Try out Dungeons of Dreadmor. The game is really easy to understand and rewards you with doing well and exploring. It also has a really cool and simple skill learning system that gives you a new experience every dungeon. It is only 5 bucks on Steam right now and there is even DLC, go for it! :)
