Dropped phone in snow, won't turn on at all... (Droid X2)

Let me give you the background on what happened:
I was getting out of my car, and my phone (Droid X2) went flying out of my pocket on a four foot drop into some snow. I though no big deal, because usually the back cover stays on. Well this time it didn't, and now the water seal on the actual phone is completely red, but the battery is still fine. At first the phone worked, because I thought I had dried it thoroughly,. but the display was extremely dim and could not be changed through the settings. Then it just completely stopped working.

I tried doing the rice thing, but the metamorphosis it went through (Dark Display -> No display, but got really hot -> not working) seems to have caused something internal. I tried taking it apart, but from what my eyes could see, there was nothing obvious wrong. I have a T5, so I can at least take it apart to view the motherboard.

Anyway to my question:
Is there any advice/tip you could tell me to do to allow me to some how resuscitate my phone into a working condition? I'm taking all advice, if not I'll be waiting till the end of the week to get my brothers old Droid that he doesn't use anymore.

Thanks in advance!

take the battery out and let it dry but if you tried to turn it on you might have created a short

Put it in a bag of rice for a few days and try again. Nothing to loose
