I purchase most of my backpacks from Dakine, mostly because I know the brand and everything I've purchased from them has held up really well. Their quality is top of the line. I do a lot of backpacking, hiking, and camping so a lot of my gear is really well used up and put through the trenches. I've not heard of RVCA so I can't recommend one being better than the other, only that Dakine has served me well. What will your main uses for it be?
this is a good question because these are both great backpacks! I have to say either one will be great and give you a lot of use.
the only thing i don't like about RVCA is that a lot of their packs have RVCA written really big, all over it, and that is just tacky. like a walking advertisement. dakine is a little mor subtle. both companies are good!
