I know this is technically an inch over but it's a great tv at a great price. I purchased it for my dorm room for watching tv, movies, and playing games off my Alienware and it's perfect! Great picture quality. I'm very pleased overall.

Jasmine is right, the Samsung is great for gaming. Colors really pop although black levels are slightly disappointed, but the average eye won't notice. HDMI inputs, a composite, component, USB (which allows video viewing). Great gaming mode which will accommodate shooting games fantastically with little to no lag time.

The great thing about Samsung TVs is that they are of good quality and completely affordable. They don't always have all of the have all of the features we might want in a TV but picture quality is good and they are extremely competitive. This TV is back lit which offers more uniform screen lighting and offers a 120Hz AutoMotion feature. You will also find a game mode that turns off the picture processing that often causes input delay. The TV is easy to calibrate and you can stream media from your PC to your TV or other compatible electronics. It comes with 4 HDMI connections, a USB port, component and composite analog video inputs, and an ethernet jack. With everything you get in this package the price is very competitive.

Even though it is 60hz I havnt had any issues personally gaming with it. I especially enjoy the SRS TruSurround HD and SRS TruVolume audio because I have a nice entertainment setup and even though its not the biggest tv in the house I still get great sound from it. 3 HDMI ports is more than enough to setup a gaming system and have room left over. Well under your price range as well.

I'll go ahead and suggest this Samsung, even though it's an inch over size! You'll be able to find it for $700, maybe few dollars over.
This is a great set up. You got your 1080p full HD resolution for image quality. You got 120Hz refresh rate, so motion blur won't be an issue. The TV itself looks very pretty, as Samsungs usually do.
For your gaming needs, it has "Game Mode" in which you TV turns off much of the picture processing for a faster video response. (you don't lose anything, just get faster response time) So it's good to buy a tv that you know they thought about gaming when they built it.
