A fun game that will last until about May under $75?

February 21, 2012 11:53 AM PST  ·  Flag  ·  13 answers
I am looking for a game for the PC or Xbox 360 that will be entertaining and last a couple of months. I am looking for a game in the genre of RPG or FPS. The cheaper, the better and any co-op will make the game that much better. Any suggestions? Note: I have sense. I don't want CoD.

Skyrim is a fun game that could easily last you until May.

Skyrim on PC is a must have if you dont already have it. With all the mods and everything it is constantly growing and becoming more bad ass :)

Mass Effect series. Not just 2, but the first one also. Also prepares you for the third one coming out. If you just bought Mass Effect 2, you could probably come out with enough to buy Mass Effect 3 when it came out.

Wonderful game with hours and hours worth of mileage. Get the game of the year edition, it has tons of additional content and is not much more expensive. A must have.

I've been playing this game for a while now, and it does take a little bit of getting used to but it is a very good game in my opinion. It started off a bit slow for me but it really does pick up as you get into it. The skill system is well thought out too, and the combat is pretty smooth. If you play on PC you may want to check out the widescreen fixer as the default field of view is pretty limited! If you play through everything instead of burning through the main quest I can see it lasting for quite a while! The only other game that would keep you entertained for as long would probably be Skyrim, with the steam workshop making mods even more accessible you won't be short of things to do either!

I have already clocked over 220 hours on Skyrim and I don't think I am even half way though, plus there is a huge community of mods which can double the gameplay time

If you missed this one, snag it. It's a high rated RPG two discs long. Otherwise, Skyrim, followed by Fallout New Vegas.

I would highly recommend guild wars. It is one of the funnest MMO RPGs out on the market. I have spent hours on end playing this game and raiding places with my buddies. If you like RPGs then this is the game to get. + the second one should be coming out later this year, which will be even greater

I highly recommend Splinter Cell Third Echelon pack on Steam. Four games for about $50 dollars. If you haven't played the Splinter Cell series.
