This is the keyboard my co-founder and I have been using for the past two years. A joy to type with everyday, seriously love typing with it and it's still as good as it was the day I got it. Mechanical and uses the Cherry MX 'black' key switch.

I use it with my mac book pro and 27" cinema display.

I used this app to loose 52 lbs...Truthfully after I lost the first 20 lbs. or so I didn't need the calorie counter anymore it was just kinda pre-programmed in my head, but it was great to kick things off. Awesome list of almost everything and makes you conscious of what you're doing from eating to exercise etc throughout the day.

Hey Bob, just came across these guys when they had some pretty good press attention couple weeks back. My friend just shattered his iPhone (the glass on the front). Used these guys and they fixed it in about an hour. Check it out.

By far one fo the best purchases I've made. It's been about a year and half since I got these and I still use them everyday at work and when I exercise (mainly bike riding and running). They are unique in the way they go into your inner canal to silence other sounds around you while providing the crystal clear music. These also come with a mic and 3 button control on the mic for controlling your iPhone/iPod music and phone pickup/hangup. These rock, seriously.

I've suggested these before, they are simply amazing. The way they fit in your inner canal perfectly mute out other sounds and they provide crystal clear sound. Bonus, they come with a mic and volume/phone-pickup contracts on them. Also, great for exercising (I use them while bike riding and everyday at work).

If you're looking just for a tablet that works and for an amazing price ($200) then yes. If price doesn't matter, go for the iPad 3.
|
|
|
|

I have had most consoles...Starting from the Atari 2600 and on up. The reason the PlayStation 3 wins out for me is just because it is the most ultimate entertainment center. I use it for everything from games, to music, to Blu-ray, to Netflix, to web browser etc...freakin love the thing...a night doesn't go by that I'm not using it.

Got me sucked in right away. No longer can you use in game money to buy weapons, but actually have to build up skill with each weapon to get better addons for the weapons.

Hands down the best controller design...Perfectly fits large/small hands, easy access to all buttons, built in wireless, long lasting battery, and compact design for storing. Plus it just looks cool :)

By far the best 7" tablet out there. Basically has everything you could want in a tablet and only $200. Amazon set the bar in 7" tablets with features and price. Comes with Android OS, Amazon's huge digital marketplace for apps (and Android apps), songs, movies, and books, web browsing, color, addons, etc.

Well there are a lot of variables there. Are you playing on PC or console?
The biggest thing to always do is get really good at knowing where the middle of the screen is. Most FPS's on harder tourn modes remove the cross hair and only show up in certain scenarios or don't show up at all depending on which weapon you are using. For example using an AWP in Counter Strike the aiming cross hair only shows up when you zoom in, and in Modern Warfare 3 it only shows up when you zoom in with any weapon on Hardcore mode.
Knowing the center of the screen and where your first shots will go without having to actually zoom in and look, aim, and then fire is the biggest thing anyone can do to rock at FPS. So get good at quickly zooming and pressing the fire button like a millisecond after you zoom (not needing to actually aim). The reason you still have to zoom before you shoot is most FPS require you to do some sort of stop moving, or zooming, etc to get a steady straight first shot. After that everything is just strategy, the fastest chess match of your life.

$100 over your budget, but 6GB of DDR3 RAM, 17" monitor (1600x900), and NVIDIA GeForce 525M 1GB

I absolutely love my PS3 as my media center. You can attach storage via different servers including an open source ps3 server http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/ and of course 1080p and audio etc.

But if you really can spend up to $3k, make sure to upgrade the display to anti glare, the RAM to 8GB, and the harddrive to 7200 RPM. You will still be under the $3k limit, but get a better visual display no matter your lighting conditions, have faster access to your media, and be able to store more in RAM which also means speed, specially when working with final cut.

MacBook Air is awesome for certain type of development. If you are a developer that hangs in a terminal most of the time, I'd say this is the machine to have. If you do a ton of compiling and what not locally, you most likely will need a beefier machine, but otherwise this has everything you should need.
|
|
|
|
|
I'd make some upgrades though:
http://store.apple.com/us/configure/MD311LL/A?sele...
When you configure the Mac, upgrade the display to anti-glare (you'll thank me), the harddrive to 7200 RPM from 5400 RPM (the faster it spins the faster you can access your media), and you don't really need it but you could upgrade to 8GB of RAM and still be under your budget but 4 GB is more than enough.
One thing I'd consider though is purchasing a nice second monitor, but with a 17" screen it's not really needed, just a nice to have.

This is what I use. I prefer the 15" display over the 17". But if you aren't going to be traveling much, you could opt for the 17" and still get in under your budget. But I love the 15" for all around function.
Also, if you get this, make sure to upgrade the display to "MacBook Pro 15-inch Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display" Definitely needed for resolution and glare. (still within your budget)
Check out the other options available for upgrades (but they aren't not needed, only the display upgrade I'd get) at:

Enjoy

These are what I use. They don't irritate your ears at all. i wear mine for a majority of the day as I work at the computer. They come with a microphone built in as well for taking phone calls (which I use a lot while riding my bike).
Also, they just sound crystal clear. They come with these really long inner ear style of ear buds that really cancel all other noise as well, which makes them perfect for taking on flights and drowning out any other noise.
I've used them now for a little over a year and they are still perfect, no breaks or malfunctions in the cord or anything. Great buy and I always recommend them...
Oh, and they are specifically made for iPhone having controls by the microphone to control volume, picking up & hanging up calls, and switching songs if you're listening to iTunes.
Check em out.

Actually, from what I have heard it's not a bad thing at all. The Ad's and offers show up when your screen saver does, they don't for example popup while you are reading. Also, the offers they provide are pretty nice specially if you are using the device.
Examples of offers included:
- $10 for $20 Amazon.com Gift Card
- $6 for 6 Audible Books (normally $68)
- $1 for an album in the Amazon MP3 Store (choose from over 1 million albums)
- $10 for $30 of products in the Amazon Denim Shop or Amazon Swim Shop
So far people actually have been enjoying the offers and one person on CNET actually said he actually thought the Ad's livened up the home screen which was normally pretty blah to look at. You can read his review here:
http://technolog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/04/11/64...
So I'd say go with the Ad model, just to get the awesome offers which for some reason aren't available on the non-Ad version. Amazon is also creating a site that allows users to up/down vote Ad's to ensure people like what they are seeing (kind of like hot or not for Ad's).
If it is still worrisome, go for the Non-Ad model as it is currently $25 more.
Hope that helps! :)

This seems to be the best out there. I personally don't own it, but from what I read everywhere it's the best. Now it is only 5 disc vs the 6 disc you asked for. A 6 disc changer is about $100 more and unless you are really wanting the one extra disc I'd definitely get this one. I can suggest another if you like for the 6th disc, but I'd bet this one will make you happy specially at the price vs the 6.
You should get at least 3 years of good service out of this player from what I read from multiple sources. Also, one cool feature that I saw is it remembers where you stopped watching a DVD even if you removed it from the system and put it back in at a later date to finish watching.
This unit also allows you to adjust black levels which really helps if you are connecting it to an LCD television.
If you want the 6 disc changer still, let me know and I'll show the best one I found.

I don't have this, but I did some research. The basics to add on to what Brad mentioned, it doesn't actually get to 350 degrees, more like 325, so the cooking time takes a little longer. Make sure to not get the plastic top version because they crack pretty soon after a couple uses because of the heat and make it unusable. So make sure to get a glass top one. But other than that, most people find it useful for a one/two person quick dinner of throwing in some frozen chicken and whatnot.
Hope that helps :)

Most think of the PS3 as a gaming console. I use mine every night for Netflix, web browser for viewing other movies like on Bloomberg and it's built in music center. Freakin amazing! There is nothing it doesn't have so far that I've needed...Except amazon streaming videos, but that's because amazon and sony have a conflict of interest from what I hear.
BTW, still awesome for blu-ray player and playing some games every now and then (Call of Duty and Fight Night for me)

What are the specs of the Magnavox? I'm looking for an LCD TV that is 1080p natively and hopefully 120Hz, but most likely 60Hz...but don't see anything in that range at 37"...only 32" like Adele.
Sounds like it's a great deal if it isn't 720p.

This is exactly what you want I believe and it's $200. It's Amazon's latest tablet running Android in the background. They basically decimated the competition with the price of it as well. This is already outpacing the iPad1 and iPad2 in their first month of pre-orders coming in around 2.5 million already sold. Best tablet at this price point and features.

Well it is the one ring you're going to wear forever...I'd do whatever makes you the happiest.
Personally I don't like white gold. If you're going to go with gold I go yellow, but since that isn't an option I gotta side with platinum.
Now if we are talking about what I would choose, I'd do a triple. 1 part platinum, 1 part gold, and 1 part your favorite wood...For the different elements, but that's me :)

I have PS3 and seriously love it. I always stayed away from consoles because I was a die hard PC game fan, but then I finally folded and got a PS3 and seriously use it every single night. Not for games, which I sometimes play (currently Call of Duty :), but for Netflix. I watch Netflix on it every single night, streaming TV shows and Movies. Plus it's awesome for storing all your music and playing a cool screen saver while having parties and what not. The best entertainment system hands down. Blu-ray and web browser rock as well. It comes with a fully functional web browser including flash so Pandora and other flash based sites work perfectly.
I don't know the PS4 is coming out from Sony, but if you're in the market now, I'd grab the cheapest PS3 you can get...Based on your music or photo's you want to store, you really don't need that much HD space...160GB should be enough, but I put the 320GB one on here since it's relatively similar in price point now.

It's freakin awesome. I bought two to have some competitions in my house with friends. A charge takes about 30 minutes and then lasts maybe 8-10 minutes of flight. But definitely only indoor use. Any little wind makes it go crazy. 5mph is like 50mph winds for it, so definitely indoor use only.
Something pretty unreal about watching them just hover in place...But yeah super easy to control for a beginner and just fun :)

Definitely worth it. The best write up I've seen explaining the pro's and con's of an Aeron is here:
I was also doing this research and definitely Aeron is the way to go. My other chair after sitting in it for hours caused my lower back to hurt. If you sit for hours on end working like most of us here, Aeron is the only choice.
Make sure to get the lower lumbar support "Pad" not the "PostureFit" option. The above link explains why PostureFit is more or less useless even though it is a few bucks cheaper.
Hope that helps!

I've gone on a lot of cruises, and truthfully I'm not fond of Carnival. Well in relation to their normal competitor Royal Caribbean. But, mostly only food wise, they don't have the same quality as Royal does. Otherwise it's still a great cruise line and I'm sure you'll have fun either way. I did that same trip on Carnival and it was awesome! I personally don't like doing the package trips they offer for the different ports but rather go do my own thing like renting scooters and traveling around on my own. The packages they sell you are way too family oriented and "safe" that it takes out all the fun. I haven't tried Norweign yet, so if you do pick that one I'd love to know what you think.

I personally love streaming Netflix even though they aren't the newest, I use it every single night, more so for the TV shows now.
If your internet connection isn't good for streaming you could try Qwikster, their new break off of Netflix that does PS3 games and movie's (all new) by mail...
But also, if you by chance have cable or known someone that does and have HBO. You can access all the new HBO movies and stream them via http://www.hbogo.com/
Hope that helps!

I've been using this style of a wallet for over 15 years. It's basically the perfect wallet. You place your ID card in the front window, you place your credit cards and some business cards in the middle pocket, and then have a clip on the outside where you keep all your bills.
I personally like a folding metal clip so I can unfold it and count out the money and easily pull out the amount I want while leaving the rest of the bills still inside the clip. Easiest to do if you keep your bills in order (100's, 20's, 10's, 5's, 1's, etc).
The best part is that it carries everything you need and its super slim to carry in your front pocket of your pants or jacket. Also ensures you only carry what you need. Makes you prioritize and not stuff receipts and junk in your wallet.

Actually the same thing happened to me when I was adjusting my mirror on my 1970 Camero. It's surprisingly super easy. I bought some glue from Pep Boys that is made exactly for this (just go inside and ask for the glue to re-attach your rearview mirror to the windshield). The directions are straight forward and in less than 5 minutes it will be like new. I had no idea they had glue that was so strong, I always thought it was connected to the windshield some other way, but nope...just glue :)

After I saw Outbreak, I went to dinner with my parents...I remember looking around the restaurant and thinking OMG if a disease could travel and get air born there is nothing in my control to prevent it NOOOOO! I then went out that night with my dad to buy the book The Hot Zone by Richard Preston to try and learn more...I obviously just forgot about it the next day as people do, but wow I was freaked out for the night :)

Sun glasses need to fit your face right. Ray-Bans seem simple, but there are actually quite a bit of differences in their models which really look quite different on different people...Even if they look cool on one person, they might not look good on another.
Since watches are less like that, I'd go for the watch. Just pick one his style (e.g. classy, athletic, metal/leather band, etc). Enjoy and I'm sure he will like whatever you choose :)

I was afraid after horrible experience after experience back in the day...But I recently went and wow, things are awesome now. When I was done with my last visit and they were like OK you're done, I was like "that's it?" and They responded, "What you want more?"
Technology has definitely changed or maybe I just found a better dentist, I dont know...but it definitely got me over my fear.

Everything about this laptop is meant for traveling. The size, the weight, the battery life, and you don't compromise much of anything regarding ram, screen, speed, etc. There is no DVD drive, that's about it, but you can get an external one if you really need it.

I use this mouse everyday here at the office. Works great and looks even better. Comes in a case that makes it look like it should be in a museum :)

Yeah not sure if it's out for the Wii. But the best new detective game out there. I have it right now for my PlayStation 3. If you were a game junkie way back in the day, this is like the new version of Police Quest. It is set up like a movie. You solve cases and after catching all the suspects for a case you have to interrogate them. The hard part is telling if they are lying, scared, or telling the truth. If you guess right, you get more information to help you solve the case, if you guess wrong you just piss them off and possibly loose the case. Pretty awesome and the time period mixed with the exact layout/replica of the Los Angeles and buildings architecture make it one hell of a game to just drive around and look how it all used to be...exactly how it used to look in LA during that time period, down to the slightest detail of where each shop is located and their signs etc...

I haven't purchased this, but it has over 300+ reviews on Amazon. I can't make any claims other than its cheap (~$30) and it's small and comes with a built in track pad. Looks beautiful and is no bigger than a regular remote control. Just food for thought, but 300+ reviews shows something. If anyone has purchased this, I'd love to hear feedback as well :)

This is one of the best workouts in the world when done properly. Gets your entire stomach, entire back, and of course your entire arms and shoulders. A true total upper body workout.
Make sure when you do them to not use your hips to pull you back up.
When first starting out, just do a couple, but make sure you use the proper technique and every day try to do one more...If you can do 20 you wont be worrying about anything ;)
Oh also, once you start building the amount of reps you do, when you go straight in the super man pose, try and hold it for a couple seconds before coming back to the start position...and then try to slide to the left and then middle and then right when you go into that super man pose...You're gonna love it :)

These are the earbuds I use. The bud is actually longer than a normal so it fits perfectly snug in your ear canal for extended wear and noise cancelation. They also have the little controller built into the Mic that changes music tracks and picks/hangs up phone calls that you requested.
The only downside is that cord is a tad bit short...but it still works for most...I think they might have a newer version, but these are the ones I use and they haven't broken or shown any sign of wear yet and its been about 7 months of daily use.
Oh, Etymotic also makes their earbuds to play music exactly as it's pushed, crystal clear, they don't add any extra bass or anything, so if you're into heavy bass you can either use the built in tuner on your iPad/iPhone or probably go with one of the other ones suggested.

I like this one because it makes me at least feel better about putting it on my face. It doesn't clog my pores and doesn't result in an oily thick feeling that usually results in pimples after wearing on long bike rides at the beach.

My boxer/pitbull pops tennis balls in seconds, but plays with this forever. He loves to play tug of war and even throws it around by himself to catch...Great toy that lasts forever.

I own one of these. If you have an iPhone, well you already know it's just super easy to use. I mainly only use mine when traveling. Great for listening to music, catching up on email, and web browsing. I have the 3G version, but haven't activated it yet since I usually have an Internet connection wherever I utilize this (airports, StarBucks, etc), or I just use my phone.

Most people think of the PlayStation as a gaming console, but nope. This baby should be the center of everyone's home entertainment theater. It plays your Blu-ray's of course, but everything else you could want. A full web browser, Netflix streaming, Hulu, Pandora music, all of your normal music you can store and play like an iPod if you don't have an Internet connection, your personal picture slideshow for a nice screen saver during parties. This is basically a computer, but easy to use for your TV....much like an iPhone is a computer, but easy to use for your phone. Hope that helps.

Simply the best phone made to date. Shouldn't think of it as a phone though, it's a small full computer that also has a phone built in.
I use it for everything: web browsing, email, music, calendar for appointments, camera, video, and lastly a phone.
You definitely will be happy if you get one of these. Other options are Android obviously, but I can't suggest anything better than an iPhone for almost everyone young and old because of the user interface (they keep it simple, which is hard to do).

I've had this one for a couple years now and it's still going strong. Works like a champ, came with a thick glass jar that has yet to break when dropped a few times. Also, please note the price, around $45'ish and not only works but looks great on the counter.

This is a really nice laptop bag, but it's huge! Almost looks like you're going hiking when it's filled up with your computer gear. I personally hate huge backpacks, but to each their own :)

Amazingly good! Awesome with steak, but great with everything, especially for good talks :) My favorite all around wine by far, and it really is amazing with red meat.

Spend the tiny bit extra and go stainless steel. This one has plenty of room, isn't completely filled with crispers, has more shelves... Might be able to find a similar Kenmore that is cheaper since Kenmore is Samsung with Sear's brand on it.
|
|
|
|
|
This one has tons of room. Only two crispers. Completely stainless steel front (no mix of plastic and metal front as others in this price range). I don't think they come with egg crates anymore. They have a spot for the eggs, but people now just stick the crate that the eggs come in directly into the refrigerator itself. The times have changed :)

After having tons of office chairs. If you are going to be sitting in the chair for hours on end every day. Up your budget and get an Aeron by Herman Miller, it is definitely without a doubt worth it.
The best write up I've seen explaining the pro's and con's of an Aeron is here:
http://www.amazon.com/review/R1MUWGLPM341EB/ref=cm...
I was doing this same type of research and definitely Aeron is the way to go.

Hmm... I bought this for $5 new at Toy's R Us when I got Call of Duty - Black Ops. Still haven't opened it...but now that people actually voted on it, I'll definitely check it out...Something about the cover just never appealed to me past the $5 price heh.

I've used it since the original iPad came out and it has definitely done the job. When you open it, it folds and you can slide the cover into a flap on the back to make it act as a stand that holds the iPad at an ideal angle for watching videos or for typing on the onscreen keyboard.

I bought these and use them every single day at work (I'm literally using them as I type this :). I agree the ER-4P's are incredible, but I wasn't willing to spend so much money on them at the time. Still using these after 7 months and they are freakin awesome. I never get a head or ear ache. I use them all day long at the desk.
Comes with a mic, so easy to use for phone calls and music. Big benefit for bike rides when wanting to switch songs or take phone calls, using the controls on the microphone piece. They are noise canceling (works great on plane trips).
They seem to have no bass, but that's because they don't provide any artificial bass. They are simply perfect at playing music as it should be. Big bonus for using them while playing first person shooter games and monitoring sounds (movement's of other players).
Their deep insertion type of ear bud creates a perfect seal inside the ear which is the reason all the above can occur with these vs other ear buds.

By far the best for PC's, this has a USB connector. If you want it for PC gaming, this is the one to get.

This has 18 cup capacity vs the Clear2O which is 9 cup capacity. The filters on this dispenser need to be changed about every two months and they are kind of prone to clogging.
If you do not need the extra 9 cups of water capacity, go with the Clear2O, otherwise this is the next best option for best filtered water in a pitcher style dispenser.

Got this for the house about two weeks ago. Thought the little metal bullet style was better, but now I'm actually really happy with this. Super easy to use, lots of differents pray styles depending on how far you need to reach and how hard you can hit the area with water. Also the handle makes it easy to hold down for long period of time with a built in little lock mechanism.

Hey Skye, this is the best for the price range you gave. Best sounding for its size as well. It's about 2" thick and has 8 speakers.
It charges your iPod/iPhone while you use it and it's rechargeable batteries last up to 8 hours. Also, it comes with a remote and travel case.
I just checked and cnet gave this their editor's choice award as well among all iPod/iPhone speakers.
Hope that helps.

This has a flared ceramic pot and lid with a form-fitting seal, a powerful 400-watt heating element, electronic temperature management, and a 10 hour programmable timer and temperature alert.
This is pretty expensive when it comes to slow cookers, but it is also rated the best. You didn't have a price range, so I gave you one that you will never have a problem with. Hope that helps :)

High arch aka pes cavus. This is the shoe for you. All running shoe manufacturers make a shoe designed for high arches, called "neutral." Neutral running shoes are specifically designed for runners with high arches who don't need active support inside their shoe. Neutral shoes have no medial post, stability features or motion control. Neutral shoes feature a wider base for soft smooth strides and superior cushioning to help center your heel on impact.
The Nimbus is a neutral shoe and it also has a ComforDry insole to help keep your feet dry and blister-free.

This is similar to Jonathan's suggestion (LaCie 301500U), but with RAID 0 & 1 support. If you want ultimate backup, RAID 1 is nice as it will keep two copies of everything you place on this drive. Once again this drive like Jonathan said has all the following connections allowing it to be perfectly compatible with PC/Mac and super easy setup (plug in to your computer, turn on, then turn on your computer and it will be recognized).
-SATA-to-eSATA cable (115MB/s)
-FireWire 800 (9-to-9 pin) cable
-FireWire 400 (6-to-6 pin) cable
-USB 2.0 cable (USB 1.1 compatible)

The GH1 is much smaller than the Canon 5d and 7d cameras and it has some significant advantages for doing video (particularly quiet autofocusing) combined with a decent mixer ( http://www.sounddevices.com/products/mx2master.htm) you will get far better quality than you could from a traditional video camera.
Nikon also makes a couple of cameras that can record high quality video, but of all of those cameras, the one that's probably best suited for documentary work is the GH1. The Canon 5d Mark II, 7d, Nikon D3S, etc. can all record really high quality video, but autofocus is unusable due to all of the noise the lenses (none of which are designed for video) make for narrative film making. If you don't care about autofocus, that isn't such a concern if you always use manual focus with a focus puller.
By the way, the super awesome thing about the GH1 is you can basically put any lens ever made on it (manual focus at least). You can buy old manual focus lenses from the 50s, 60s, 70s, etc. throw them on there and get completely different looks and abilities on the cheap.

This is basically the same thing you can get from other manufactures, but way cheaper. The lights are really dim and have a sort of blue tint to them, but truthfully I don't really need them if the kitchen lights are on while cooking. They are great for a dim light while watching movies though :) Please note, the clock only displays in military time, not such a big deal for me, but you should be aware of that. Also, the unit is sort of noisy when running, tolerable but not super quiet as the description states. The fan works great! The suction power completely eliminated the food smell from traveling since I have an open floor plan in my house. All around it works great, looks great, and is a great price. At this price point, you are limited as you know, go with this option and you will not be sorry, enjoy.

I haven't bought this one yet, but I have been researching this and the Ektelon O3 Tour. One of these will be the one I'm going to get. I checked all the specs and reviews and basically these two seem to me like the best for the money. Where the specs are almost as good as the best racquets, but the cost is 1/3 or less than the most expensive ones.
Length: 22in LongBody®
Headsize: 106 sq in
Flex: Super Stiff
Composition: Triple Threat with Tungsten
Cross Section: Super WideBody 23 Straight Beam
Weight: 185-191g unstrung
Balance: Even
Grip: MaxTack
Power Level: 3200-3400
String Tension: 30 +/- 4 lbs
String: Synthetic Gut 16
Grip Size: SS
Namely what I was cross referencing was the size, composition, weight, power level, and string tension.

Super easy to setup. If you connect to your PS3 with HDMI, don't worry about it being compatible, but make sure you have your PS3 (RED/White/Yellow) cable, because you need that to connect for audio. The USB connector is only used for the Mic and power. This does have a couple cool features that allow you to control the chat volume separately from the game volume. Also, there is stereo expander switch that allows for you to more easily hear where the sound is coming from (Left/Right). Truthfully, I have seen better headsets for PC gaming, but this is the best for about $70 as of right now that works with PS3 specifically right out of the box. Please note, there is a little hiss that comes through when no sound is playing, but when there is sound you can't notice it at all. Lowering the mic volume fixes this for the most part. The bass is pretty awesome on these, but I suggest turning the bass way down when playing seriously, since this distracts from trying to hear the smallest actions such as footsteps and reloading of weapons.

This is the latest and greatest. Works great, usually get about 6 full charges on your iPod out of this.
There was some serious issues with older chargers where Apple was changing their power charging scheme. For example, before you could charge through the fire wire input and then later you could charge through both the fire wire and usb input and then it changed again and only accepted charging through the usb input (32 pin connector). Causing older external batteries like the Mophie Juice Pack to cease functioning on the newer devices.

This travel mug made by Thermos has excellent insulation. The mug keeps hot drinks super hot for hours and iced drinks chilled.
The mug comes with a removable mesh infuser for steeping hot tea on the go.
The only negative about this mug is that the screw on cap has to be removed to drink vs a slider or push button style, causing you to need two hands to open it while driving.

Apple fanboy or not, simply the best smart phone out there so far. Everyone is trying to beat it and Android definitely taking over in market share, but if you actually buy one and use it on a daily basis, you will never wish for a different phone, till the next version comes out ;)

Like I said in my review of the Master version of this pad, the things to look for in DDR pads is the sensitivity of the buttons, how easy do the buttons crack, how sturdy and heavy are they so they don't move around, and how sticky do the sensors get. Also, to make sure the buttons are recessed. When your playing with shoes on you want to be able to feel that your stepping on the buttons without having to look down or guessing too much. The faster the levels get the more it really matters the quality of the pad. Both this and the Master versions are great for hard levels like Bend Your Mind, Let My Love Go Blind, and Dawn.

I personally like the shorter boot style. Plus for everyday type of wear I like the Bomber style because of the two different colors of leather used for the heal vs the rest of the boot adds a little to style that differentiates, yet doesn't make it too complex and an eye sore. By the way $500 is way too expensive for UGG's :)

The Polar does not use ANT+, a 2.4GHz practical wireless networking protocol and embedded system solution specifically designed for wireless sensor networks (WSN). Meaning their devices use a proprietary signal and are not compatible with other applications or devices. The plus side is that their watch can record your heart rate while underwater because they use a different signal type than Garmin (ANT+). This watch is not waterproof, but water resistance to 50 meters.
Garmin is an all in one 100% accurate measurement of your distance, speed, maps, etc. It's the best when it comes to GPS, but not always exact with HRM.
Polar will provide you always solid HR numbers, but not the best when it comes to GPS and you will have to wear a footpod.
Hope that helps.

After doing research on earbud headsets for using during work, gaming, and with a mic to use for VoIP calls and my iPhone for bike rides I came across these.
At first it was a little weird compared to what I was used to. Previously, I was using the ones that come with the iPhone and they were uncomfortable for me, and then I had some from Kicker which sounded great with super high bass, but the lack of the microphone made them not ideal. The Etymotic's come with a "deep insertion" tip which feels like your sticking a q-tip down your ear at first. BUT, after using them for a while I wouldn't want it any other way. Complete noise cancelation and snug fit make them perfect for utilizing them for long periods of time without getting a headache or ear aches at that.
They don't have super bass like the Kicker's I was using, but what they do have is perfectly crystalized sound to them. If you want perfect sound accuracy and/or sound monitoring for game play for example, these are perfect.
The mic also works good by the way, just an added bonus to the way these sound. The cable is a tad bit too short for me and I personally like cables that have a nylon cover to them. These are just the normal rubber cable, but they never tangle or get crimped up like others which is a pain in the butt if you use in-ear headphones a lot.
I would definitely recommend these to a friend without a doubt, specially for the price.

Contractors can get 96" x 24" slabs for around $120-$180. Right now the going rate to buy granite and have it installed for an 8' long countertop is $500. The cost in granite goes up and down based on the color and how many inclusions there are. The more inclusions the higher the price usually. Also, when they are cutting the area in the granite for the sink, tell them you want to have the sink under the granite vs laying the sink on top of the granite. I personally think it looks better and custom, but also it makes it so over time you don't get all that nasty build up and rust where the sink touches the counter. I'm doing a remodel at my mom's house, so lots of war stories already. :)

I just bought two sets of these for my friend and I. We just started playing and these have everything you need for a killer deal.
Comes with:
-Protective Glasses
-3 Balls
-Raquet
-Travel case
Seriously, if you are looking for a deal and a quality product I wouldn't hesitate getting this.
Also, we didn't notice but there is a protective film on the glasses so they don't get scratched before being opened. Neither of us noticed it till the second day, remember to remove it or you'll feel like you're going blind wearing them :)
