Compact but feels nice to the fingers. Nice price point. You're getting the Logitech brand name. Comfy typing. And it comes with a great stand. Works with multiple devices including both Android and iPad.

I dig the automatic two-sided scan feature with this printer. Works fast, and scans at a high quality. Prints double sided really quickly as well.

Woderful, warm sound with these. Great insulation from outside noise. Two year warranty. Fold up for easy and safe carrying.

Prey 2 is pretty good. Players take on the role of a U.S. Marshal Killian who has been abducted and has some killer face offs with some nasty aliens.

Good sound for the price. Mic is especially good quality, and I find them comfy even though I have a big head.

There are now companies that specialize in this. Not sure how much you are looking to spend, but if you are looking for a built in thing, these are pretty darn cool: http://www.globaloutdoorconcepts.com/

Crime Craft is pretty good. I dig the graphics and the open world.

Nice stand. Great color. Simplicity/ elegance of design. Little to no input lag. I am really happy with it.

Crystal clear amazing sound. Nice and small. Carrying bag included. Designed to be super light weight as well.

I dig these a lot. Great for running/ jogging. Not good if you actually want to swim with them in (not designed for that). But if you just want to run/ jog/ exercise, they sound great, and resist the burn! LOL.

I also really like the Turtle Beach brand for gaming. They are durable. Set a reasonable price point, and the detail through the mic is awesome.

Not sure how long this TV will be at this price point, but it is a nice one. You'll have the Sony name. Easy internet connectivity, and a great picture.

Amazon is selling it at a decent price.

Really lightweight. I forget I am wearing them. Also, super nice sound for the price. Come with a nice carrying case also.

These are great. Portable and folding. Fantastic sound. Comfy as well.

I agree with Johnny, these are some of the best gaming headphones out there. Comfy. The noise canceling is amazing. Definitely, you'll be in your own world. Open Acoustic design allows air to flow through the speakers to your ears, so you'll remain comfy if you are having a long gaming sesh. On ear controls are great. Super sturdy design. They may be pricey, but you won't be disappointed with these!

I really dig these for both the comfort, cord length, and sound quality.

We're big gamers at my house and we've bought the Turtle Beach brand more than once. I think the sound and mic quality are both very good. It's pretty cool how sensitive the mic is--picks up everything I say, even in a whisper! For me, makes the experience all the more immersive.

I just bought this from Penny's for the 13ft cable. So far, it's getting the job done, and I was impressed with the speaker quality for the price.

I have been using the Thrive for awhile now. I like how easy it is to use. I also like that some parts like the battery are consumer replaceable if anything goes wrong. Lots of RAM and storage make it worry free for presentations. It also has great tech support, and data is easy to back-up.

The Air is a great option for college classes because of its portability. If you want a lot of ports you might opt for the Pro, but if you want extreme portability, the Air is your top choice. Check out the specs:

• 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM
• 64GB Flash Storage
• 11.6-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor

Really gorgeous picture for the price, and you're buying the name brand of Toshiba. They don't make a 39 inch model, just 40 inches of great big old picture, perfect for watching the game!

Jasmine is right, the Samsung is great for gaming. Colors really pop although black levels are slightly disappointed, but the average eye won't notice. HDMI inputs, a composite, component, USB (which allows video viewing). Great gaming mode which will accommodate shooting games fantastically with little to no lag time.
Movie capture at up to 1280 x 720 (720p) 24 fps with mono sound. Really beautiful photos and videos. Ranging from ISO 200 to 3,200, plus L1 (100) and H1 (6,400) -- almost pro level, and will do well in low light with some practice. The Face Detection feature (up to 5 faces) will also help with color and focus adjustment when taking photographing people---can't make any promises on the cats. :)

I'd say as far as bang for the buck go Plasma. Plasma screens, as the name suggests, use a matrix of tiny gas plasma cells charged by precise electrical voltages to create a picture. LCD uses liquid crystal displays which have been more widely criticized for not lasting quite as long, and having problems with the edges of picture, although new technology and back lighting has helped LCD screens really catch up. This Panasonic plasma though gets great marks for viewing at all angles, comes ready to go for internet streaming, and good marks for 3D.

I think it is easier to use the Photoshop without scrimping on any features. It supports a ton of raw formats and dual monitor editing if you want to edit in that way. Also has cool help features that make it again, super easy to use. Happy editing!

Nice to be able to swing a name brand if you can. High pixel rate and contrast make for a great picture. Maybe the only downside is that it only has three inputs, but overall a great TV at a great price.

Garry's Mod is really cool and addictive. If you like physics, you will like this game.

4 HDMI inputs. You can update the firmware yourself. Great picture quality. Only occasionally have had slight lag issues, but overall, great TV.

I agree that it depends on your needs. If you are looking for an all-purpose laptop I don't think it makes sense to build one. You can get a great one with fast processing and tons of memory that will suit your needs well. You can even go Mac refurb at that price as well. But if you are a hard core gamer or engineer you might be looking for something super specific you should build. Hope this helps you decide!

A ton of really cool games all in one place under $10. Have fun playing.

Really a phenomenal camera all around. The more time you spend learning it, the more phenomenal your pictures are going to be. Also, if you can afford some fancy lenses, you are going to be signing this camera's praises for a long time. Check out the specs:
18.0 Megapixels
3.0" LCD
HD Video Recording
Selectable Video Exposure + Frame Rates
Dust & Weather Resistant
100% Viewfinder
Self Cleaning Sensor
High Sensitivity (ISO 12800)
8fps Burst Mode

I bought this for a trip to Hawaii, and was really happy with it. Very impressive shots underwater when snorkeling. It has 12.1-megapixel resolution and 15 shooting modes, and so far nice and durable.

My wife has this one as she is a gamer and big video consumer. She bought this for top graphics and processor ability. It also has an awesome color spectrum so the screen quality is great--way better than our TV. haha. Cool computer for multimedia experiences though.

My buddy is a pro DJ, and he swears by his Rain. I did a little Googling and the machine looks really cool. Not only does it have built in programs for DJs/ sound editors, but it also has three key features I think full-on pro DJs would be looking for: "Sandy Bridge" processor architecture, advanced memory and faster hard drives. It also stays cool and quiet for when you are out doing your thing. If you are pro level/ doing a lot of gigs, it really seems a machine to consider. Good luck!

Samsung Galaxy is probably the most optimum Google Android phone out there (I would go Google Android as far as software customization goes). I wanted to suggest an cheaper alternative though if you didn't want to pop for the Galaxy. It's a nicely priced alternative to iPhone and Blackberry and really easily customizable. It has a nice camera as well. Surfing the net and accessing email is smooth and easy. With 5 home screens, multiple apps, and widgets you really can design your home screen the way you want it.

Fantastic computer. Fast processor, sleek design, nice and compact. You can also purchase an extended warranty. Great all around computer. Good luck.

Zen Pinball is a blast. If you love old school arcade games, and being able to challenge others head-to-head, I can't recommend this game enough. So awesome.

Move is great, because it will get your kids to do exactly that-- move. You will have to buy the Move controller and the eye camera for some games, but really fun for the whole family.

May sound silly, but I just feel previous generations dressed better than us. I learned a lot from my dad, and was always grateful for his hand-me-downs.

Nice and easy set=up. You might have to tweak the color settings a little, but once you do, looks great. It is not huge, but you can't beat the price. Great for a TV or kitchen.

Great idea for road trips, and everything can stay nice and covered up and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I live in a hot climate, Phoenix, so I needed something nice and light, and cool. These did the trick. Comfy and cool and I am not embarrassed to walk outside in em when I get the paper/ water the plants.

This is a netbook (a small computer) but if you travel, I highly, highly recommend it. It's got a nice keyboard, screen, sooo lightweight, it is fast, does all your basics for such a great price. My ONLY complaint is the sound on it is crappy if you are not using earphones, but you really can't beat the price.

When I first got LA Noire I couldn't turn it off for days. Great story. Great characters. Great setting. Great game.

I really love the new game Lost in Shadow. It's about a boy's shadow that has to journey back to him, and it's kind of playing Limbo. So fun!
Nice sound quality, super easy to install. The only weird thing I have found with it is that the signal on the remote is not that great. Otherwise, I am really happy with the purchase.
So comfy, and nice and lightweight. I spend some serious time in Phoenix, and man is it hot. I'd say go with the lightest weight hiking boots/ shoes you can find. These are waterproof, but I gotta say the waterproof feature is best for the sweating, more than actually finding water. It is the desert after all. Be sure to pack LOTS of water too! Have fun.
I would only recommend for a beginner/ child. Really nice for ease of use, but not as playable for a more advanced player.
Folds up really nice and small. I also like that it is adjustable.

Nice and sturdy and comfortable. I did order for my daughter, not for myself, but she has had other brands and she finds this one the most comfortable.

You know you have a bad flip flop if that spot between your big toe and your second toe gets a nasty blister. No need to worry about that with these. So comfy. Don't even have to break them in.
Shout works well for me. I also carry those handy wipes with me. I am a klutz and if I am wearing white it is guaranteed I will spill something.

Really, really comfy. I used to get foot pain with other boots, but less so with these. Always use them on construction jobs/ heavy lifting jobs.

Really like the sound quality of my Arctics. The only complaint is the neckband could be a little longer (but I'm a big guy)... it doesn't bother my girlfriend. These were the only Arctic models I could find on Amazon.de: http://www.amazon.de/Arctic-Cooling-ORACO-ERM27-GB...

I dig this silk derby hat. The material will keep ya cool, and help keep the sun out of your eyes.

I really like this system as it genuinely does dry the car quickly and prevents the car from beading and being streaky after washing. Soap is included in the package that is supposed to also help in the drying process, but I didn't know notice anything special about the soap.

Not the best for fast photography (ala sports) but overall, a really great camera. Great m4/3 sensor. Smaller and lighter than a DSLR, but really nice image quality.
Lots, and lots of features on this camera. Great performance in low light, and very, very cool stitching feature to stitch wide angle shots together. I'm really enjoying it so far. Check out the features:
"Exmor R" CMOS sensor for stunning low-light performance
iSweep Panorama Mode captures stunning panoramic images
Fast capture with 10fps at full 10.2-megapixel resolution
10x optical zoom Sony G-Lens with 25mm wide angle; 1080i AVCHD Movie records high-quality HD movies
Recording Media : 45MB internal Flash Memory, optional Memory Stick Duo Media, optional Memory Stick PRO Duo Media, optional Memory Stick PRO Duo (High Speed), optional Memory Stick PRO HG-Duo, optional SD/SDHC media

Hi there... can you be a little more specific what you are looking for in your bundle? Thanks!

Really nice wide focus range, as well as a cool tracking function. The 460,000 dot photos are really beautiful images. It's also easy to customize shortcuts so you aren't spending too much time scrolling through menus.

Pretty good bluetooth function for getting and making calls on this unit. I don't really love the music library function. You need to make sure you get the wiring kit with the unit when you order it. CDs sound great and the navigation function is super easy to use.
I used this for back packing abroad more than hiking. You can fit A LOT of clothes in it, as well as a decent amount of camera gear. I really like it for that purpose. It is a little heavy, but again you can pack A LOT of stuff. If you are looking for a travel back pack, I recommend it.

Nice small unit that generates little noise or heat. Designed as a space-saving entertainment hub. Fast processor and wireless. Great if want a basic computer that an double as an entertainment hub.

Whoa, okay, i know this is probably not in the price point for a beginner, but this is just a gorgeous saddle. If you have the money to invest, this would be a great saddle to keep in the family for awhile. I do have to say though, you might really actually want to consider buying used/ going somewhere you might be able to try out a saddle and really see how it feels for you. As you probably know, the comfort of a saddle can be an individual thing, and an already broken-in saddle might be the way to go for a beginner.

This is a nice, convenient small-sized camera. It has 30gb of storage space, simple nav controls and a USB connection, and a really nice zoom range. Some things I consider to be downfalls with this model: no viewfinder, video quality is so-so as is the come-with software, but the price point is attractive and if you aren't looking for anything fancy, this will do the trick.

The best thing about the Canon HG10 is the picture quality. It captures great HD images and is easy to use for the every day consumer. It may be better suited for PC users though as the MovieFactory editing and DVD making software it comes with is for PCs only. If you love to cut in Final Cut the footage conversion process can be a pain, and this might not be the camera for you, as again, it was overwhelmingly designed for PC users. Unlike many other hard drive camcorders this also has an external mic jack and records two channel Dolby sound. The lens on the camcorder is quite beautiful, and I have been really happy with picture quality. Here is the nitty gritty on specs:
--Record up to 15 hours of high-definition video to 40 GB hard disk drive
--Canon full-HD CMOS sensor; 24p Cinema Mode
--High-definition 10x optical zoom lens; 2.7-inch widescreen Multi-Angle Vivid LCD
--SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer; simulatneous still-photo capture
--HDMI terminal; advanced accessory shoe

This actually feels like more pressure than a generic shower head does, and I really like a high pressure shower. It is able to maintain the pressure with extra air pushing the water through the shower head. I installed myself and it was a nice, easy install and is definitely helping keep the water bill down.

I love this camera. The on board mic is pretty amazing, as is the picture quality. I've actually already owned it for awhile, and when I responded to the question I couldn't believe how much the price has come down (about 100 bucks since I bought it a year and half ago). It really is a remarkable camera for being pocket-sized and I know the Flip did not initially come with a jack to attach a mic, that is why I initially bought this one.

This watch has a lot of cool features. You can record information about each dive’s maximum depth, directions traveled, time at depth, and decompression information. The display is also large/ easy to read. I've only dived a few times, but I bought this as a gift for a friend who always loans me all the equipment/ takes me out.

If you're looking for the sock of the outdoorsman, or just the guy who can't stand the cold, this is the warmest I've found. (I've worn them on winter hikes). But I am serious about how warm they get. If you're doing something athletic, your feet are likely going to warm up and sweat. I haven't been snow shoeing, but I imagine if you were doing something THAT cold you'd want socks like this.

If they're younger you can get a Stats Pro and get a size relative to what their league is using. Just ask the league what size they are using for each age group. Have fun out there!

Also, if you can afford to install some ceiling fans, you can keep the air moving in a room, and cool it down fast/ save energy that an AC unit would be consuming.

This is nice if you are going on vacay involving beaching/ boating. I once dropped my camera off a boat in this case and it survived.

This is a nice simple pedometer with one function... to count steps. It's easy to use, an attractive price, and also gets high scores for accuracy. it's a nice option if you don't need any bells and whistles.

I do like Newman's Own, and I like that the brand still continues to give back to kids and the arts. RIP Paul.

You can set up this hammock indoors or out. It even fits in a bag. I don't own this hammock, but now I really want to. If it is as easy to set-up as it claims to be, might be a worthwhile investment. Hope you fit in some lazy summer days this summer.

The Sunray raft has been around forever. You will get wet by laying on it, but that's half the fun, right? It's really durable, and comes with a one year warranty.

I find this one super helpful for the spark striker. It's always easy to get a fire going with this.

I wish I was a good enough player to always make the ball spin when I wanted it to, but when I do get it to spin it has been with this ball. It was designed with a soft-feeling and low compression for more advanced players to make it spin. If you've got the shot, it'll spin for ya.

Whoa, I didn't know much about synthetic jewelry but I can't believe how pretty some of the designs are. I guess a nice and affordable gift for the guy who isn't married yet. Ha!

Vizualogic actually came with my mother's fully loaded new car which she bought for impending grandkids. It's nice. It's got a Built-in Top-Loading DVD Player with Backlit On-Screen Controls, and a headphone jack so each person can watch their own DVD as loud as they want. Makes for an easier road trip for sure.

I've played with the Wand versus the regular Wii remote, and I do like the Wand better. It allows for more control. You can also get a pistol grip for the wand that will allow you to access the 1, 2, and plus buttons without having to reach around like you do on the Wii remote. Have fun! Game hard!

I am a big fan of the Idiot's series. This does a good job of covering all legalese you will encounter with buying your first home. It definitely helped me get through the process.

I used the club back in my days as a city slicker and having to park on the street. I bought it after I had my radio stolen and was worried about my car. Amazingly, after I got the club, nothing else was stolen from my car.

Nice, simple player. Sounds good. You can also hook up to your computer to convert your old LPs to digital files. Plays 45s but not the really old 78 rpms. If you are not an uber audiophile it is a really nice starter machine.

This one was pretty easy to install. It's in our kitchen, and we kind of couldn't function without one. We write our calendar on it along with messages to each other.

Rugged is right. I feel like I put my car seats through hell, and nothing can really get through these covers. Also great for a car that may have already been through some wear and tear and needs a little dressing up.

We don't have a lot of closet space, so having extra hanging space is always nice. We have a mud room bench pretty similar to this one and it serves us well in all seasons.

I don't have a ton of closet space, so I like the classic over the door model.

Very easy hold gun. I like that you can hold this gun with just one hand. It is also easy to aim.

Really great hidden object game. Here's the game summary, but I can attest, I have lost hours of my life to this difficult and engrossing game: Players assume the role of Master Detective to unlock secrets held within Ravenhearst, scouring a myriad of enchanting rooms in the manor for cleverly hidden clues. Locating and assembling diary pages helps tell the story of the house and, ultimately, unlock the mystery.

I know Sesame Street is not a straight up cartoon, but man, it's a classic. This compilation DVD can keep kids entertained for years to come.

This is a great space saver for the cook's overloaded kitchen who loves some spice. Also really easy to mount and adjust.

This is a good scale for ingredients and accuracy. The zero-ing function is nice also. I also recommend it if you are in need of a scale particularly for portion control.

I'm all about no assembly required. We didn't have much storage space in out kitchen, so we bought this for extra space. I really like it.

Sparklers are about as safe as you can get, and honestly about all we use these days. We go out to see public fireworks shows. They are much safer and better than anything we could do at home.

If you are truly looking for a chainsaw that can out cut all others, I would get a Stihl. They are pricer, but worth the investment, especially if you are cutting: http://www.stihlusa.com/

Great cast-iron skillet that will last you longer with a skillet that has that gross non-stick coating that will quickly rub off. A cast iron skillet is worth the investment if you like to cook. The pre-seasoning is there for non-stick. Happy cooking!

The extra legs on this guy really help with both stability and mobility. As far as helping your back hand, not so much. That said we've moved this table from our basement to our porch several times, and so far, it's holding up well.
If you want a lot of shooting time the 30 gig harddrive can go a long way. This little guy is also super easy to use. I would say though you are probably not going to get pro-quality looking video with this camera, if that is what you are looking for. On the other hand, if you are looking for durability and ease of use, it's a nice option.
Easy to use and lightweight, so nice for a camp setting. It also doesn't use chemical additives. It's really worth it in a camp setting so you won't have to carry your own water with you and be limited to what you have carried. Also, this system only weighs 1 lb.

The cool thing about the SanDisk is the amount of memory you get for the price. It's about double the memory of a iPod shuffle and a similar size, and around $30 cheaper. It also has video playback and FM radio.

Its definitely fun to drive duplicates of cars we can't own in real life. My Ferrrai Enzo is certainly fast.

My wife bought me a plaid pair last summer... trust me, ladies dig 'em.

I dig these pants. There's lots of added protection for if the bike heats up. Here are the specs on the pants. Enjoy the ride!
--13.5 oz. Denim Construction provides comfortable durability
--Perforated Brazilian leather panels are used as lining in the impact areas to provide added protection
--Double stitched construction throughout
--Removable, CE approved knee armor

Icon's jackets are super durable... might want to shop around for some summer jackets though. The heat is on! Icon does make all weather jacket types. Great brand. They'll last.

This is a new model aimed for improved picture quality and black levels... it's one of the largest 3D TVs out there. If you REALLY love 3d, may be worth the investment.

Gateway has updated this model (check out the 2850) to be even faster which makes it a nice and affordable option as a living room content center. If you're looking for a more basic nettop that's not going to be too hard on the wallet, Gateway may be a nice option.

A super sharp lens with a fast auto focus. It's also great for low light. It works with every Nikon ever made and will work with most Canons with a lens adapter. To give you an idea how popular this lens is Nikon has made over 400-thousand since 2007. You will also get very, very little distortion with this lens unless you are planning to blow up your film projection very, very large. That said, there is still little distortion and that's why Nikon lenses remain a top choice of film professionals as well. Happy shooting!

I've sat and watched an editor using this monitor. Looks great. 1000 to 1 contrast ratio. Covers every TV resolution up to 1080 pixels. You will also get an HDTV tuner. This isn't advertised specifically for video editing, but more as a TV monitor, but I think for the price point and the color Samsung beats its competitors if you cannot afford and Apple monitor.

I have to say it was upsetting that Apple made the choice to launch Airprint solely with HP as a compatible printer. I have a Kodak and I love it. I know certain printers have apps you can download so you can use the airprint with certain types of docs, but Kodak isn't one of them. :(

A few bucks over $200 but the best out there. Nvidia really is the best brand to go for as the cards will ultimately be faster than other brands. Happy gaming.

I recommend Tour Edge particularly if you are just starting out. You can always upgrade a few irons if you like to enhance your game and your drive. Ultimately my best advice for buying clubs is to hit everything and see what feels comfortable for you. That said, I do appreciate the lifetime warranty that comes with Tour Edge. Happy golfing!

Mmmm. An aged whisky. Balvenie has never let me down when I need to purchase a good man a gift, or have a strong drink for myself. I like this one because there is little spice. I think it is a good, smooth, balance. Plus, it's of legal drinking age. It's lived in the barrel 21 years! Delish! Time for a drink!

It's a few bucks over $200, but if you're looking for the 2 person model, that runs about $110. I've got the two person model myself. It only has one door, but I find it durable, and easy to carry. It's also easy to set-up. If you're super hardcore, though this is a no-go for snow.
