Wireless nano receiver you can leave in once connected. Comfy grip. Runs on a battery. Slips in easily in my outside computer pocket as well.

Super basic, but a great, durable mouse. No trackball cleaning. Just plug and play.

I like the SideWinder for both the price point and the functionality. Mode switching is easy, and the macro keys are easily programmable as well.
|
|

Guess it all depends on what type of development you are doing, but I like this keyboard a lot. I like being able to switch btw Mac and PC. Set it up custom just for you. I like the foot switch option. Great overall computer.

High contrast ratio with this one makes for fantastic picture. Comes with a 3 year warranty. Maybe the coolest thing about it is that it also conserves energy. Will use about 40 percent less than other monitors.

Got these for my guy about a year ago. He loves them. He likes that they stay in and are comfortable. He wears them for jogging, around the house, and even in bed. They are also water proof and sweat proof.
|
|
|
|
|
Fun, bright, colors. My pre-teen loves these. And they are happy with the sound quality as well. The ear cushions are nice and soft as well. The only hard part is getting them to take them off. ;)
|
|
|
|
|
Great for comfort and price. Fit tiny ears well. Be careful not to let your kid wear them for toooo long though, especially if they are a youngster. According to studies, that is when the most damage occurs.
|
|
|
|
|
I bought these because they fit my tiny ears and I found them light and comfortable. The sound is good. It might satisfy an audiophile, but it will satisfy the average tiny-eared consumer. :)

Not sure what age range you are shopping for, but i have never seen a kid, nor an adult for that matter that doesn't smile wide when a Polaroid produces a photo instantly. It also saves the images digitally. A really cool combination. I think this would be suitable for ten and up.

Really great starter camera if you want to get into DSLR photography. Features an LCD screen that is easily adjustable, as well as full HD video recording, wireless flash control, a respectable continuous-shooting mode, and the same high-resolution sensor as its predecessor, the EOS Rebel T2i. If you are ready for a large investment you can buy a great lens kit as well. Also cool flash remote and creative filters.

That is a tough price range to get a full on tablet. The Streak 7 is a tiny bit out of your price, but not by much. You will get more than you will get with a straight up ereader, which I believe is what you are looking for. This is more powerful than many Androids, but not quite as many bells and whistles as a Samsung name brand. It's got a great camera in back, really easy access to apps and email, and you can purchase an affordable external keyboard if you will be doing a lot of writing. If you truly need a full-on tablet/ more than eReader, a tiny bit of extra dough may be worth it to you.
|
|
|
|
|
Really big and vibrant screen for easy Skyping. Easy for app use. Even has good audio quality. My favorite part about it though is the ability to group and prioritze activities. Cool tab overall.

I think it depends on the bow tie you are wearing, but all customary colors of dress shirts I think would be more than acceptable. Black and navy will go with anything. When you asked this question, the color combo of a light pink dress shirt, and yellow paisley bow tie also seemed COMPLETELY AWESOME to me.
|
|
|
|
|
You can't go wrong with a variation on the little black dress. This one has cool sleeves that make it a bit unique. Pair it with a blazer, and you could definitely wear it to work as well.

|
|
|
|
This might be a nice upgrade. It will get you into the DSLR market (more options, more lenses, possibly more detail for portraits) for a very reasonable price. The rebel is the world's most popular DSLR, and for good reason. It is rugged, and easy to use. The main difference between this Canon and others is that it has one simple control wheel, vs multiple control options. If you also compare it to more expensive models, there's no HD movie options with this one, but that doesn't mean it won't take top-rate pics with a little practice.

There are very few worth buying under $50 I have to say. So few, that I don't even feel right in recommending them to you. That said, for $60 you can get into a Fuji Fine Pix which is an AWESOME camera. Check out the amazing specs you get with what I think is a VERY affordable camera:
- 6X optical zoom lens
- Full manual or automatic controls
- Industry-leading movie mode
- Very good image quality
- Great macro mode
- SmartMedia and CompactFlash Type II slots
- Overall camera operation feels quick
- Support for external flash
- Feels good and solid, nice ergonomic touches
- The best electronic viewfinder
- Good battery life
- Excellent software

I don't think MyCleanPC is all it is cracked up to be. It also tries to charge you money for the "problems" it finds on your computer. I would recommend CCCleaner, which is a free program that does the same thing. Hope this helps.

Awesome graphics card with 3D option available and also has graphics switching technology. The large battery can go up to 7 hours. The screen is nice and large for gamers who want to multi-task. Overall a great computer, but it is bulky, more like a desktop replacement laptop than a take it with anywhere laptop.
|
|
|
|
|
Really nice and sturdy construction. Beats Audio comes fully loaded. Blu-ray drive and WiDi 2.0. Nice long lasting battery. Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU and AMD Radeon HD 6770M video card provide for high quality multimedia experience. 750GB hard drive offers ample storage space. Compared to many other options out there, this computer won't give you sticker shock, and will additionally serve you well.

I really love that it rotates, and it helps me keep everything nice and neat.

Great monitor. Take note though there is only one port that is really only compatible with newer macs. Also has a built in camera and mic. Fantastic performance wise, but limited to a certain type of consumer. If that consumer is you, though, you can't really go wrong with this monitor.
|

I feel like if you're having a tablet discussion you can't not mention the Kindle Fire. If you are many consuming content and don't need major mini computer functions I feel like you can't beat it.

|
I would say just a couple of pointers regardless of brand, go ahead and go with a warranty, and the longer the warranty the better. You just never know, and it is such an essential/ expensive appliance. Also consider getting a brand that won't require any new plumbing/ replacing the burner or pilot. This will save you an unnecessary expense.

I wish I could say I knew much about Turkish music, but alas, I do not. I did, however, find this list from Turkish DJ, and it's pretty cool. It also comes along with his favorite songs from each artist:
Sezen Aksu - Ikinci Bahar
Kenan Dogulu - Cakkidi
Sertab Erener - Everyway that i can
Candan Ercetin - Elbette
Tarkan - Kis Gunesi
Teoman - 17
Levent Yuksel - Medcezir
Ajda Pekkan - Her Yerde Kar Var
Alpay - Eylulde Gel
Askin Nur Yengi - Kara Cicegim
Zulfu Livaneli - Gozlerin
Baris Manco - Gulpembe
Bulent Ortacgil - Benimle Oynarmisin
Celik - Hercai
Cem Karaca - Namus Belasi
Ebru Gundes - Tanri Misafiri
Muazzez Abaci - Vurgun
Emel Sayin - Bak Yesil yesil
Zeki Muren - Gokyuzunde Yalniz Gezen Yildizlar
Nilufer - Ask Kitabi
Ilhan irem - Sazliklardan Havalanan
Izel - Kizimiz Olacakti
Kayahan - Yemin ettim
MFO - Bu Sabah Yagmur Var Istanbul`da
Nazan Oncel - Gitme Kal BU sehirde
Ozdemir Erdogan - Fahriye Abla
Serdar Ortac - Bilsem ki

I have gotten to play around with one, but don't own one. I am overall impressed. Especially because of the price tag. I like the Amazon user interface. If you are going to purchase your books and movies primarily from Amazon, it couldn't get any easier. Brad has a great point though as far as consumption over creation. I think you have to ask yourself what your primary use of the a device like a Kindle or iPad would be to help you make your decision. If you truly need a mini computer/ tablet, go iPad. If you want a Knook like device with killer apps and user interface, you are going to be more than happy with your Kindle Fire.

|
|
Nice price. Nice and small, and all in one. Great if you don't have a ton of room. Not the best choice if you have to print high volume though as the ink cartridges are pricey. But great for moderate home office or school use, and again a nice space saver.

Will prevent that laptop heating up your desk or your lap/ giving it proper ventilation. Adjustable tilt to get the right angle to type on. Works on your desk or in your lap.

Helps with digestion and with breaking down all nutrients in food... will do the same as a probiotic yogurt. Also, papaya helps with digestion. If you have papaya available in your area this could be a nice alternative.

Picture quality is great. Far exceeds a TV. Nice and sturdy. For best charge though, don't charge while it is operating. The battery life leaves a little to be desired as I have experienced it not lasting all the way through a full movie. Overall, though a really great projector.

This is a really nice coat, and has a flattering fit. I also think the under $200 is a pretty great price tag for a down coat. It will also keep you toasty warm this winter.

Very compact and sturdy. Over a 492 ft range. Works with the following Windows operating systems: Windows 2000
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Mac 10.4/10.5/10.6
Linux 2.4/ 2.6

If you are after a basic laptop, I would recommend shopping Overstock.com. You can see what is available and if it might suffice for your specs. You'll probably score one of the lowest prices on the net there... there will also probably be big in-store sales right after Christmas to move inventory if you can wait that long. I'd also expand your search to consider tablets. Great price. SO portable.
|
|

You get 5 games with Orange Box including Half Life and Half Life 2, along with Portal which actually might be my favorite. Definitely at least thirty hours of game play here.

I have this mouse. It is basic, comfy and highly functional.

If the laptops you have that need docking have eSATA capability, I would recommend this as it will be your fastest option. It does also support USB 2.0. Fast and reliable.

This one is a tiny bit above your budget, but I have to say it is really handy to have the drop leaves to create extra space when needed.

Amazing contrast and colors with this one. It covers a remarkable 125% and 123% of the NTSC and Adobe RGB gamuts (CIE 1976), which for the first time enables a lossless color workflow. If you have the budget, it is a beautiful monitor.

If you are looking for SUPER portable and small this is great. I used it when I lived in a small studio apt and wanted to cut down on trips to the laundry mat.

My niece gets to play a lot with her mom's Samsung Tablet. I have one too. I will go ahead and say she knows more about free apps and what to download than we do. She's pretty well versed with this tablet, and she really likes it.

I feel like it kind of depends what room you are looking to replace... I have one like this in my bedroom, and I really like it... this probably wouldn't work for a dining room though.

If you just need electric, my bf bought this one recently. He thought it would sound crappy b/c of the price and was just looking to screw around. He'd been a guitar player first. He says he was pleasantly surprised and thinks it sounds pretty good.

Fun and easy way to decorate, and can change up the room easily later on when the baby grows. I like the jungle theme because it works for a boy or a girl.

If you can try to substitute out tea for your standard energy drink, I promise you, your body will thank you. Eventually you are going to hit a bad crash from an energy drink, and Red Bull has gross taurine in it. Green tea is kind of the strongest tea you can go with.

Runs kind of like an Android with a larger screen. Nice iPad alternative. This does take a long time to charge and is not full on multi touch, but the price is nice.

This is a little more like a shawl than a full on cape (it runs a little small) but I really like, and like that it goes with anything. I feel a little dressed up when I wear it but it is also so easy to just throw on.

Won't scratch, and reusable, so you won't have to toss one every time you use it.

My litte one seemed to get instant relief from this. The raspberry is just the right size to fit in the mouth. Freeze and let them enjoy/ feel better.

Not sure what type of sense of humor your friend has, but this made me laugh.

Really, really nice sound. Check out the specs. My only complaint is after a lot of playing they can feel tight on the head.
30mm driver units and a lightweight ferrite magnite provide full-range sound with deep bass
Reversible earcups allow single-sided monitoring, for DJing applications, mono mix checking, etc.
Fixed stereo miniplug for use with portable equipment; 1/4-inch phone plug for studio/audio equipment
Frequency response: 18 Hz - 22 kHz

If you've got a teenage gal on your hands, maybe treat her to another fashion trend that is less painful and less permanent. Feather hair extensions are really big right now, and not too expensive. Good luck.

I am lusting for something like this. Will help make the transition in cooler days from summer to fall and fall to winter for years to come. If you can't swing the leather vest, consider a canvas utility vest as those are in this fall as well.

I totally agree that personal style really is a series of trials and error. Don't be afraid to experiment! The best successes come from failures sometimes.

You can't really go wrong with a traditional/ classic black blazer. You can dress it up or down, and Dockers offers a classic one at a great price.

I really love Garnier Nutrisse. It really doesn't feel damaging to the hair at all. I do find if you want to make color change though, it is not that effective, but it is GREAT for color maintenance.

I love these bath bombs. You'll feel like you went away to a spa for a day right in your own bathroom. Affordable and thoughtful gift.

This is a nice camera if you want kind of a combo of point and shoot and some control. You can control aperature, speed, and focus with this camera, but can also take great photos with automatic settings. Additionally, it really will fit in your pocket. I've fully enjoyed my power shot thus far.

Really like this no-slip bowl, and it really doesn't slip. It's really been helpful in the self-feeding learning process. There is also a BPA free version.

Maybe the best thing about this chair... wash the whole thing down when needed. If you are at booster seat stage, I highly recommend it. Can also really take the full function of a high chair (except, again, you can wash the whole thing down). You can also adjust the tray settings as the child grows.

This gate swings in both directions and is operated by a foot pedal, so you don't have to use your hands, that's probably the greatest feature ever. Also, pretty easy to install. Overall, thumbs up for this gate.

This is a really great product. Easy, and convenient, and organic. It is a little pricey, but it is worth it for moms on the go, particularly knowing you are feeding the baby something good for them!

This has little bumps on it to massage the gums. It seems to be almost a softer plastic than other teethers I have seen.

I've owned some magic suits in my life even though I have yet to have a baby. I really love them. They are designed to smooth out lumps and bumps and have a control tummy, and I actually think they are reasonably priced for well-made suits with nice, classic designs that will stay in style for more than one season.

Did I say how much I love lavender already? I do really love lavender. Lavender has been used to treat insomnia, anxiety, and stress. If you take a bath with this oil, you will be singing its praises as well.

I kind of can't get enough lavender in life. I really love this tea, and the aromatherapy works wonders in a relaxing bath setting.

I like Maidenform's "Control It" brand. Very effective at making things look sleek and smooth, and affordable.

This camera actually won an award for its low-light ability. Really nice high-quality images with this one, as well as an external mic jack, and the ability to convert/ "pass through" old footage formats. That said, the mini-dv format is starting to become quite outdated with the advent of hard drives within in the camera. If you are still looking for that format of camera though, this is quite a nice one, but for the money you could almost buy a Cannon 5d which would blow this camera out of the water.
|
|
|
|
|
Super helpful app. You can scan and email docs right with you phone's camera using this app. Very well worth the five bucks.

I've had this kind of low flow for two years. No leaks or breaks and feels pretty good too... maybe the best part of feeling good is the savings on my water bill.

Oh fun! I haven't played in awhile, but I always prefer actual shin guards as opposed to the cheap kind that you just stick inside your socks. These are only about ten bucks more than the sock kind and I think they're way more comfortable, and effective.

I purposefully bought this sleek desk to keep myself organized and to not allow extra room for clutter to build up. So far, this strategy is working. :)

This gorgeous art deco style chair can compliment a variety of living room styles. I always err on longevity and what can compliment a variety of styles. That makes this chair a winner in my book.

I am still single, but someone recently bought me a beautiful wine decanter and I just love it. It seems like quite a lovely gender neutral gift for the couple if they are wine drinkers... a nice way to also enjoy and host guests.

I guess it depends on how old the child is, but I've been buying my niece, who is 5, animal backpacks. I just can't help myself. They're too cute. And, I haven't gotten any complaints yet.

Window fans can really cool down a whole room, and are more affordable than a brand new AC unit, or AC for the whole home... also more cost effective energy-wise. Stay cool out there.

I really love sleeping with two down pillows stacked on top of each other. They are so comfy and soft, but I need two to sink down into. Not sure what type of body support you need, but for overall comfort, my vote is for a classic down pillow.

Light up your tent and keep it cool all with one device. It attaches to your tent ceiling and runs on 4 "D" batteries which has lasted me through a weekend. Stay cool out there. I think it is almost too hot already to go camping where I live.

Hmmm. Thanks you guys. Looks like there are several really great options out there for caffeine addicts like me. And yep, I don't want to buy crap coffee in a bag/ can anymore. Wanna always grind my own.

Whenever I buy a new bag I try to buy one that will last through several seasons. I lie this traditional Coach satchel in black. I also like the fact you can carry it too ways, and that it looks like it will fit A LOT of stuff.

The nice thing about this tub is no installation is required. Just plug it in and get in. The tub is also designed to save energy and the shell of the tub is designed for longevity. I don't have one personally but I have been in one and I can say the massage jets are strong and do a nice job.

Okay, yes, I am a bit of an astrology nut and have taken some classes on the subject. This reference book is totally amazing. If you are student casual or serious this is really a complete text to looking up words, etc, and contains beautiful and helpful diagrams.

I am a mac addict, but I did buy this over the iPad because I really love a keyboard. Also, when I am traveling, I don't necessarily need all the functions a mac has over a PC. It weighs just a little over 3 lbs and with a 6 cell battery, it can go and go. It is also super fast with a 2.5GHz Core i5-2520M processor.
|
|
|
|
|
This is a nice model if you can snag one. It's currently sold out on amazon, but you can try going to a mac dealer for a refurbed computer or even craigslist. I'd do some research on what gen you need and what speed, and what kind of storage. What will you be using the computer for primarily? Editing? Graphic design, etc? Good luck. I am now a 3 time Mac owner and I love them.

Okay, it may be ugly, but ease of use wins out on this one. I can uninstall and reinstall with one hand while holding my sister's toddler in the other. Also, the kids can pull on it and not dislodge it. Rate: 0 for presentation. 100 for function.

Will run on batteries for your outdoor trip. You can also connect an iPod to it. Pretty nice speakers. It is a bit weighty, and heavy especially when running on batteries, but that's really only the downside. It really does sound great.

I've owned a Garmin for my car and for hiking. My brother always snags it for boating excursions because it works everywhere.

I really recommend Physican's Formula if you are at all sensitive to breakouts. It's a great organic option, and easy on the skin.

Heard good things about this book. Thanks!

Whoa, more affordable than I thought! Thanks!

Alright, I couldn't resist this pretty in pink set, but it's not just pretty, it has really handy tools too. And that knee pad comes in handy for those of us gardeners over 30.

Danby fits almost as many bottles, but at a more affordable price.

I guess I am sucker for long-term brands with history, but yes, I do trust Johson and Johnson.

Not quite as far-reaching as the Fischer Price model, but I like it for its sensitivity.

I travel a lot and like to take DVDs with me, so I like my Soundkase.

I have this one in my kitchen and it is so durable, and I love the unique look.

Love these Luckys on my boyfriend. Tried to get him to buy skinny jeans, but he loves the relaxed cut.

Once I built up my callouses I've always been happy with simple Martins.

I invested in some fit flops and I actually think they're pretty cute. I'm not sure about the toning but I do notice a difference in my posture as I have terrible posture. My mom even told me I was finally standing up straight!

If you need more freezer space you might be looking for a side by side option. I have the Samsung model that came out before this one (a little smaller) and I love it. It's nice and quite and it has so much space! It's also a nice price point for a French door model as double door fridges can sometimes put your over $2000.

Okay, motor cycles drive me wild. I also love this jacket. I find the yellow pretty sexy. A man secure in his color palette with a bike! Can you introduce me?

Great tale of young love and the dangers of popularity, beautifully written.

Ikelite makes great underwater housing for most popular model cameras. I've been diving with this, and my camera came up unscathed with great images.

With 10 bit color the display on this monitor is quite beautiful. You'll also get 4 usb ports and a flash reader plus a 3 year warranty on the monitor. Dell gives you every input you might want on the back of the LCD - DisplayPort, HDMI, two dual-link DVI connections (all with HDCP support, naturally); and VGA, component, and composite video connections as well which is more than the Apple monitor typically includes. Happy monitor hunting!

Great for those starting out who don't want to lug around a lot of gear. It's got a great stabilization function and the manual settings allow you to do a lot of the the camera. If you were hoping for a camera with a great video function may not be the best one for you, as there's no external mic jack. You can buy some great lenses for this camera though including a fun fish eye. I personally love it.

If you travel a lot this is a good option. You can bring it with you! Don't skip out on exercise because of a hectic schedule. It's also a bit more affordable than a other elliptical options.

Having a telephoto lens can be a great option for action shots. I've been shooting surf events for a few years, and this is the lens I bought for my Canon Rebel, and I really like it. Each Canon model has options for a telephoto lens... they can be your pricier option but they will make you feel like your right up next to the action.

Well, if you love your Espresso as much as I do, it's worth the investment. This does it all, grinding, dosing, brewing, serving. Pretty darn easy. I can also say it's easy to clean.

I really like this one from the 2011 collection mostly because to me it is the most feminine one... this one was released in Spring and it's starting to be offered at quite a discount... wasn't sure if you were looking for a men's or women's watch?

You should consider an all in one messenger that combines all IM services such as Yahoo, AIM, Facebook, Skype, Twitter, etc. If you have a smart phone there may be many options you can just download via the app store, otherwise consider IM All-in-One Messenger, or eBuddy. Happy messaging!
