The T3 models are really great options I am just purposing a slightly different model, its more along the lines of the 12mp version. 3" LCD screen on the back makes it very easy to intuitevly navigate the menus to find the best options for your photos. Full HD 1080p video looks wonderful on a large screen. Also its just slightly cheap if the T3 is out of some people price ranges.

I have to agree with Tami on this, Its light, portable, rugged, and extremely upgradable!
3.8x F2.0 ultra-wide-angle 24mm Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens
3.0-inch Intelligent LCD
Up to ISO 12800 (not that you would use it often if ever but nice to know its there for a quick shot in the dark)
For a pocket/jacket camera this will do the trick just fine.

This is a fantastic camera for travel because of its small size and overall durability, although with all things electronic I suggest getting travel bags/cases to go with them as you can never predict how they will be handled on a trip. This camera has a very nice and easy to navigate 3.2" touchscreen, 24mm lens for very nice wide angles, great for buildings or monuments and landscape photos. Also is capable of full 1080p HD quality video.

A really nicely designed laptop, has a full keyboard/numpad which I always find appealing and looks super sleek for a business environment. 15.6" display makes it easy to keep focused as you and be further back without having to adjust your text sizes.
The i7-2670QM processor with Turbo boost increases your processing output depending on what programs you're running and the GeForce GT 540M graphics incorporates Optimus technology that can run in full HD or switches to Intel graphics automatically to save battery life. Comes with 750GB 7200RPM hard drive and 6GB DDR3 SDRAM (Upgradeable to 16GB).
All that plus Blu-Ray player, HMDI/VGA port and 3 USB slots (One 3.0 Two 2.0) and a 2.0MP webcam for video conferencing.

I really like the MBP laptops, I have been toting around an older version of this for over 2 years now and this is the laptop I am going to buy soon. It has all the same great features I like on Macbooks, fantastic responsive trackpad, sturdy metal body design and easy to use programs and software.
I don't do much audio editing personally but I know it supports some of the best software out there and has such a good battery life compared to laptops my friends own. You can even get a wireless external HD up to 3 TB to store all your music!
Here's what's going on inside
2.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 Processor
4 GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
750GB 5400rpm Hard Drive; 8x DVD/CD SuperDrive
13.3-Inch LED-backlit Display, 1280-by-800 Resolution; Intel HD Graphics 3000
Mac OS X v10.7 Lion, 7 Hour Battery Life

I have had an older macbook pro for about 1 1/2 years now and I have not treated it very well, plenty of drops, and smacks on chair back or door frames but it still boots up like I opened it yesterday. Mac does make a really solid product and this machine is the top of the line right now for a Macbook.
Mostly I think the battery life of Macs are really useful in travel situations but a downside of Apple products can be if anything goes wrong with the computer and you cant get to an Apple maintenance provider you will be out of luck for the most part.
With what you are looking for as far as Movies, this Macbook comes with a nice Radeon HD integrated graphics card for 1920x1200 resolution for HD movies.
Music? Itunes is used by Mac and PC users alike these days, its just a great way to store and purchase new music on the go.
As for battery life once again, Mac is known for its battery longevity usually 7+ hours without needing a re-charge (Depending on what you do)
It is on the heavier side at 10lbs but that is because of the metal casing which adds a huge amount of durability to the product.

If you're willing to spend a bit more I would suggest this Acer. It has an intel i5 core with 320Gb of space and a 2.3 Ghz clocked processor, 4 gigs of ram installed but you can easily upgrade that to 8. Just seems like it would get you further for longer which would end up saving you money in the long run.

I have used this in the past for shooting videos or web chatting but now I mostly just keep it pointed at our frontdoor from the inside window with the motion sensor on for added security, it has great low light features, face tracking, and you can pan it remotely with the software it comes with. Great little camera, maybe a little harder to setup on a flatscreen or laptop, does not have a convenient mount for that.

I wasn't really sure what your price range is but you probably have a pretty good idea in general what mp3 players cost these days. I take this thing with me everywhere, you wont believe how small it is until you see it in person think a credit card folded in half and weighs practically nothing, you can also buy an armband accessory (I use it for track or treadmill running) and a few other nifty addons to make it work for you. I have roughly 150 songs and 20 ipodcasts on it and im not even close to the 16 gigs capacity. Enjoy!

I like this one, simple shelves nothing fancy but a good strong hold and fits my shampoo/conditioner bottles just fine, plus I keep my scrunchies and loafa on the little bottom rack.

I like the pump driven machines because I feel like the steam ones kind of scorch the coffee and it changes the taste. You can also use Pods with this machine if your willing to spend alittle more. Makes about 3 or 4 cappuccinos, or 6 to 8 espressos, without refilling the water. Make sure to keep water in the resevoir or you can burn the pump. Enjoy your brew!

Very comfortable crib, comes with a changing station that attaches to the head of the bed. The cherry finish looks really nice I think.

My mom is super into composting these days and she likes these worm trays, may take a bit of research and know-how to get into worm harvesting and all that jazz.

Great for point and shoot photography, Panasonic works with Leica and that is top of the line camera equipment. You cant really go wrong if you want a nice clear picture for a good price, dont forget to get a power adapter if your travel outside the US.

This lens is incredibly sharp wide open from 70mm to 200mm, from center to corner.
From 250mm to 300mm, you may need to stop down two stops or do some post-processing to sharpen the images a little.
Focus is fast and silent. This lens is definitely one of the best tele zoom Nikon has ever made.
I took some photos with my D80 with and without using the flash (SB-800) and the photos were very crisp. You won't be disappointed.

These candles are a tad on the expensive side, but trust me, they are worth every penny.
I am a very scent oriented person and can barely stand the smell of anything but soap on another person. I bought one of these candles one day on a whim and wow, the red currant fragrance is incredible it smells delicious, expensive, intriguing and clean. These candles are truly the best I have tried yet.

A friend of mine wore it and once I smelled it I had to have it. Kind of a spicy seductive smell but not overwhelming. I can't really smell it on myself after about 30 mins but am always being told how nice I smell throughout the day.

Best refrigerator I have ever bought and I have gone through a few from place to place. Tons of crisper room for stocking up on fruits and veggies nom nom. You can see on the bottom of the door panel there is room for tall bottles so champagne or chilled wine fits perfectly. The middle panels are removable for extra space and it is deep enough to fit a pizza box for leftovers.
The water filter is amazing! I hate tap water around here, tastes like bleach, but once it passes through this fridge, yum! No more bottled water for me im a fridge girl now. Has cubed and crushed ice options as well. Great freezer, doesnt do that ice overload thing where the whole freezer turns into a block of ice.
