What is the best headset for gaming and music?
  Corsair Vengeance 1500
The newest in a great legacy by Corsair of quality gaming headsets, this USB phones+mic combo is probably the most comfortable headset I have used so far, and I put in some crazy hours gaming so I need maximum comfort and sound quality for multi-directional hearing, particularly during intense FPS matches. Amazing quality for the price, if you are already thinking of spending around $50-60 for a headset, put in the extra $20 and go for these.

While I am not a huge fan of spending more than $0 on a bag, my girlfriend is a dedicated beach goer so I splurged and got her one of these http://www.rewarestore.com/product/beachtote.html
to charge her phone/mp3 player during longer stays at the beach and she loves it.

What's the best laptop a guy can get for $2200?
  MSI G Series GT780DXR-446US
Honestly Dario you could put together a gaming desktop for about 2/3s this price with equal or better specs, but if your dead set on getting a laptop, I can only assume you will be using this for gaming or possibly (but unlikely) some crazy CAD or 3D graphics program type usage. Anywho, this monster laptop starts you with 16 GB SO-DIMM, 1500 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX570M graphics card, which is better than what my PC uses. Make sure you have adequate space for this machine and cooling plans because its not liquid cooled so it will run hot.

Best 50 to 54 inch 3D TV under $1350?
  LG 50PZ750 (Bundle)
Its not always easy Alex, but if you really want to jump into the mix I suggest grabbing this LG plasma TV asap. It comes with 3D active shutter glasses which are great quality and has a stunning picture quality. Because of the outrageous refresh rate (600hz) you get virtually zero motion blur for any media you want to watch or even games. Great package deal with an amazing TV to back it all up.

Well if you dont need the whole package, or you already have available accessories then you may want to jump into this later version of the Rebel, im a big fan of the swiveling screens for cameras these days, seems like it should always be a feature because it helps get you the best angles and increases the steadiness of the overall camera. 1080p HD video for this price is very nice especially since it gives you a great camera body to work with down the road.

If you are looking for a great non-beginner DSLR that wont break the bank then this is a really good option. It has a fantastic ISO range (up to 12,800) and a really clean (low noise) photo quality for almost up to 4000 ISO. Its a very sturdy build as well with a magnesium internal construction. Shoots up to 8 fps jpegs for great action shots.

What is the best laptop for music recording/editing under $1000?
Apple MacBook Pro MD313LL/A (Late 2011)
Depending on what size screen you would, I suggest a Macbook as they tend to have some of the best pre-loaded music editing software, less random crashes in general, and a very easy to use OS. So, if you are just getting into music editing its a great resource to start from. And if your budget cannot exceed $1000 then just try to pick up a refurbished one from amazon.

what is better battlefield3 or mw3 cant decide?
BF3 wins for single player over MW3 but I tend to play MW3 more in multiplayer. The differences? BF3 has more realistic ballistics/physics but I HATE the environment glaring and visibility with snow/sand drift I would rather an open battlefield where we can all see eachother but I understand 100% why a lot of people like it so I am not saying its bad, just that I don't prefer it. Where as MW3 is a pretty no brainer fps - Run and Gun or Hide and Gun. They both have good and bad features, just depends on your play style.

best Android tablet?
  ASUS Transformer Prime TF201-B1-GR
Who knows where tablets will be in the next 3-4 months but right now I have to go with the TF201 T Prime, I mean it doesn't really have any flaws expect the same flaw that all tablets in the same quality range have (too expensive) but it does have alot going for it.
Bluetooth capability makes it easy to use a wireless keyboard to make emailing or business docs etc...(If you dont want to splurge on the $150 docking station) I do recommend getting the station though because not only does it virtually convert the tablet into a laptop, but it adds 6 hours of battery life and a full SD slot for transferring any data or making space on your tablet which comes in either 32 or 64GB setups.
The Tegra 3 processor with the updated ICS 4.03 OS really sets it apart for smooth browsing. I have heard some problems arising with the WiFi connectivity but other users have explained that even though the wireless may register 2-3 bars of connection, the actual speed of their wireless was not impeded (this includes streaming Netflix/hulu etc..)

best tablet for reading?
  Kindle Fire
Sorry but having access to amazons book database makes it far and above the best tablet for reading, and if your not talking about books then you still have a wide variety of browser based material right at your finger tips for far cheaper than an Ipad 2 which really gives you nothing extra in the way of readability. Plus the smaller size in general makes it more comfortable to have on the go, you cant really fit an Ipad 2 into most back pockets like you can a kindle fire.

Absolutely agree with you Cassandra, I just answered this in another question sections and I really think we are onto the right path in what gamers (I count myself among them) would be looking for in a portable tablet with decent graphics and processing capabilities not to mention the add-ons that ASUS provides like the USB slot attached to the keyboard dock you could use to hook up USB controllers for your games as well. Great features, decent price.

best tablet for gaming?
  ASUS Transformer Prime TF201-B1-GR
You just can't beat this tablet for gaming performance right now. Even though it may not have Ipad 2's access to as many apps, the higher quality gaming experience brought to users with the Tegra 3 quad-core technology, and the incorporation of a keyboard dock with touchpad and USB connectors gives it an edge that the other options lack. And while I do also love PS1 games, most people I would think will prefer the option to enjoy a newer gaming experience.

best tablet to buy?
No doubt right now the Ipad 2 is leading in distribution of product and availability of apps that go with it. It is still on the expensive side as we have all come to expect with apple products but its hard to eclipse it because of how functional it is and its wide variety of entertainment options keeps it in the forefront of tablet innovation. Few things to keep in mind, as usual with apple, you need to buy adapters for things like HDMI, USB, etc..as the inputs/outputs are all apple proprietary and although I have not seen an official release date I have read that the Ipad 3 will mostly likely come out in early 2012 so you may just want to hold off and get the latest and greatest if your an apple fan.

Wish we had a little more info as to what your primary use is for the device but personally I really like the galaxy because it has access to the whole android app collection, plus really good screen resolution for streaming videos with up to 7 hours of video battery life. But if you plan on reading more books rather than watching shows/movies you will probably want to look into the Nook or Kindle. If books aren't your thing, the galaxy gives you a lot of options for browsing and entertainment.

You wont really find a better picture + size quality than this until you start looking into the $5k+ market, this has everything you would want in a 3D TV (glasses included) unless you really feel like size is more important. What you do get also is WiFi, 120Hz refresh and sony's penchant for quality merchandise. Great for having people over or family movie nights. I personally prefer active lens glasses when viewing 3D as they tend to give me less eye strain over longer periods of time.

  Sony BRAVIA KDL46HX820
At this price range we start to really get into the more quality brands available with 3D. This Bravia while maybe not the best in some areas, will give you an amazing 3D quality with a good player because the glasses sony uses are active 3D glasses so they see 400Hz compared to the usual 120Hz and that higher refresh rate counts for a lot when your viewing movies in 3D. Keep in mind the money you save on this TV (Original price 2500) will have to go towards getting glasses and a player if you dont already have them.

What should I look for in a Graphics Card?
Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
A few things you want to keep in mind when purchasing a graphics card.
1. What are you using it for (how fast do you need it to be)
2. Do you need 3D capability?
3. How many pin slots do you have available from your power supply
4. How cool does it run
And of course, size matters. Some cards fit into your case right out of the box and others, depending on the set-up inside your case, just wont fit. So make sure you know how much space they take up.
I've been using Nvidia graphics cards for 5+ years of gaming and haven't had any significant issues with them. Link is to my current card.

What is the best laptop for video editing under $800?
  Lenovo G770 10375WU
This laptop is right at your price cap but if you can make your way to getting it, you will be pleasantly surprised. Basically you are buying a $1200 machine, I am not sure how Lenovo can throw in all the specs it does and keep it this cheap but lets go over why it would be decent (not top of the line) for video editing.
1. Display size and resolution. 17 inch screen is amazing with a native resolution of 1600x900
2. Processing power Intel 2nd Generation Core i5 - 2410M is better than some i7 first gens.
3. Graphics - Actually has 2 graphics cards, an Intel chip that comes with the processor which is for low performance needs like web-browsing, emailing etc..runs cooler and saves battery life. And the ATI Radeon HD 6650M 1GB graphics that will help you watch HD movies/clips buts takes more power thus shorter battery life.
4. 6GB DDR3 memory keeps booting and opening applications quick plus 750GB HDD storage should be more than enough for editing uses.
5. Blu-Ray player for watching movies.
And many more great features like a 2.0mp webcam and HDMI output. It really is a great machine at this price.

What is the best laptop for DJing under $1500?
Apple MacBook Pro MD313LL/A (Late 2011)
I've recommended this before for DJ's and with good reasons. It has plenty of processing power to run your audio media programs 2.4 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Processor, It boots pretty fast considering it still uses the 5400 RPM HD but it does come with plenty of (up-gradable) storage starting at 500 GB SATA going up to 750GB for the 314 version (Or you can customize it on the apple store with a SSD to make booting much faster).
Good amount of memory if you dont plan on slogging it down with too many open applications 4 GB installed RAM (Up to 8). And of course the Macbook sturdiness and battery life which are pretty well above most laptops in this price range.

What is the best laptop for software development under $400?
  ASUS A53U-EH21
Not sure how far this will take you in the developing department, depending on what kind of software you use and how much processing power it requires but here is the best overall machine I could find that should be able to get you through most programs you may be using.
Processor: AMD E-350 Accelerated Processor
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics
WLAN: 802.11 b/g/n (@ 2.4GHz)
LAN: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet
Memory: 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, 2 x SODIMM Sockets (up to 8GB)
Storage: 320GB 5400RPM hard drive
It does have 3 USB ports but does not come with an HDMI slot.
At low graphics setting or not using full brightness for the display, the 6-cell battery should also give you a respectable 4-5 hours unplugged battery life.

Such a good machine for this price. Great display and size, full keyboard with numpad for easy input to spreadsheets/docs. Very smooth trackpad with 1-2-3 finger gestures.

Plays 1080p movies effortlessly with the Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card. Comes with plenty of storage 640GB 5400RPM hard drive and has a very fast processor Core i7-2670QM (2.2Ghz).
Not to mention 6GB of memory (Up to 8GB which I recommend) 5-in-1 card reader for external data storage, and 3 USB + 1 HDMI ports.

What is the best laptop for college under $3000?
  ASUS Lamborghini VX7SX-DH71
I recommend this because anything much bigger and you start getting well over 10lbs and that is a lot to be lugging around college. Keep in mind though, this is a very very fast machine so the fan will not be a quiet burrr when playing hi-graphics video games and the more powerful you want your machine overall, the more you tend to sacrifice in battery power. This is a classic example of a desktop replacement, basically everything you would want in your standard up-to-date PC comes with this laptop. Also has a Blu-Ray player/writer and 2.0mp Webcam.
Display: 15.6-inch FUll HD display 1920 x 1080 and an HDMI port to watch movies on an external TV/Monitor.
CPU: 2nd generation Intel Core i7-2670QM processor (2.2GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.1Ghz)
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 560M 3GB GDDR5
Wireless: 802.11 b/g/n (@ 2.4GHz)
LAN: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet
Memory: 16GB DDR3 SDRAM, 4 x SODIMM Sockets
Storage: 1.5TB (2 x 7200RPM)hard drive
The 8-cell battery should last you 2-3 hours unplugged, but keep in mind this is more of a portable desktop than a on-the-go laptop.

What is the best laptop for software development under $2500?
  ASUS G74SX-DH73-3D
If you want want something that is comfortable, relatively lightweight but powerful enough to run your programs then this is a great machine to look into. Disregard the "Gamers" tag of this laptop and you are left with a very powerful tool for software development. Fantastic 17" display with up to 1920x1080 res. I also really like the ergonomic keyboard design as you will most likely be typing on this machine a lot, every bit helps.

Inside we find one of the better graphics cards on the market the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560m, not the best but enough to crank out some serious graphics applications/games. All that run by the i7-2670QM processor with a 1.5TB 7200RPM hard drive and 12GB of DDR3 system memory.

What is the best laptop for travel under $2500?
  Sony VAIO VPC-Z216GX/B
This machine is right above your budget limit so you may want to try ordering directly from Sony and try to haggle the price down with the sales team. The reason I recommend it for travel though are -
1. Lightweight design at under 4lbs
2. Upwards of 7-8 hours of battery life even without a slice battery (adds another 7-8 hours)
3. Small overall display makes it easy to store for traveling
4. Comes with what is called a Power Media Dock which functions as an external graphics booster/blu-ray player if you want to watch movies or stream HD onto your laptop.
5. 256 GB Solid State Drive makes it just that much more stable while traveling as you wont have to worry about a spinning harddrive getting damaged if bumped or dropped.
A fantastic machine for people who are often on the go.

What is the best laptop for DJing under $2500?
Apple MacBook Pro MD311LL/A (Late 2011)
Awesome 17" display size so you can have multiple programs open in windows while being able to still read them. I suggest getting anti-glare screen for DJ gigs otherwise the display can appear pretty glossy and reflective.

The quad-core processor will give you the power you need to run several programs simultaneously which is great for DJs that also run lighting programs along with their music sets. At this price I am a little disappointed with the harddrive speed (5400 Rpm) considering the price of the unit 7200rpm should be standard but you can order it from Apple with the upgraded HD speed.

The Thunderbolt port should help get you set for any external media/Tvs/Monitors you want to hook up (adapters sold separately) But all together its a great machine and the OS is really easy to get accustomed to.

2nd Gen i7-2670QM processor
GeForce GTX 560M graphics with 3GB GDDR5 (I have this graphics card in my desktop PC and it plays EVERYTHING up to and including Crysis 2 on High settings with ease)
15.6" Monitor (Kind of small for a gaming machine but supports 1920x1080 res)
1.5TB 7200RPM hard drive and 16GB of DDR3 system memory (You wont need to upgrade your Ram from a good amount of time unless you plan on keeping many applications open in the background while gaming)
You can even burn and play Blu-Ray with this machine.

What is the best laptop for DJing under $3000?
Apple MacBook Pro MD311LL/A (Late 2011)
For the Macbook reputation as a reliable (rarely if ever crashes) laptop for programs that require stability I have to go with the Pro. This particular model is a Quad-Core i7 that comes with 750GBs of space and a very nice Radeon HD 6750M graphics card, it does seem to be light on Ram at 4GBs so you should pick up a 8G stick to help round out the purchase.

Since you can install Windows OS on Mac's you shouldn't have any problems with compatible software if you already own some music software and the battery life is going to be a great help in comparison to most PC machines which tend to lean more towards gaming and stationary use.

What is the best laptop for DJing under $400?
  Lenovo G560 0679ALU
15.6" Screen makes it easy for you to read
4GBs of ram is a great starter point for any laptop and should be sufficient for audio software.
320GBs storage space makes it easy to store plenty of songs to rock the party.
As most laptops these days it comes with integrated 802.11 wifi, 3 USB ports and a CD/DVD burner/player.

One big issue with lower priced laptops is battery life, if you are going to DJ at a venue that for whatever reason requires you to run your show on battery alone, your going to have a hard time breaking 2-3 hours of battery life, but disregarding that barrier this is a very solid choice.
I realize that as New you will be right above your budget but you can probably find some discount outlets selling this model for under $400.

What is the best laptop for video editing under $3000?
Apple MacBook Pro MD311LL/A (Late 2011)
There isn't much difference between this and the MD318 except the larger screen size (15.4 vs 17) but when it comes to video editing that could be a lot to you if you need to see how somethings looks in higher res bigger screen sizes. Also 750GB storage is a nice bump up from 500Gb's.

Apple currently has a really nice corner of the video editing market with what is considered the best mid-prices editing software (Final Cut Pro) available to only Mac users, and AVID which you can get for PC or Mac. So if you want something that can run your editing programs smoothly and still run top of the line consumer video editing software, the MD318 is a great choice.

What is the best laptop for DJing under $1200?
Apple MacBook Pro MD313LL/A (Late 2011)
I have to agree with Becca on this MacBook, the specs for DJing are really nice especially with the quad-core processor for when you need to run multiple audio-tracks and and extra OS. That being said the 320G HD is pretty small for a professional DJ with all the programs and music you will probably want to keep your laptops internal HD as clean as possible and grab an external HD for mass storage and just keep your needed show lists/mixing programs on your laptop.
Apple has some of the best battery life and a very good reputation for its OS not crashing or freezing in the middle of a set, very good attributes

What is the best laptop for college under $1500?
Apple MacBook Pro MD313LL/A (Late 2011)
This is a great choice for students who have a full workload and don't get much time between classes. Keep in mind this is not a gaming machine or necessarily a heavy movie watching machine, this is a practical, long lasting device for video/audio software and pretty much any college level required projects that may come up like powerpoints and video presentations etc..

Truly the battery life of this Macbook is what really puts it far ahead of most laptops in this price range for you use you want it for. 7+ hours of battery life for a student is a great advantage especially if they take public transit or are on school grounds more than a few hours a day.

What is the best laptop for kids under $1200?
  ASUS G53SX-DH71
Alright so the pros and cons of buying this laptop for a young boy are something along these lines.

Pros -
Nvidia GTX 560M - Absolutely up-to-date graphics capabilities
Intel Core i7-2630QM - One of the fastest processors available for laptops
750GBs - More than enough room for him to store music, games, pictures over years.
12GB DDR3 - He most likely wont need this much memory at his age but it will be great to have in the years to come
2.0M Webcam - For video calling to relatives or friends as he gets older.

Cons -
It is not a cheap machine and it does not have a spill-proof keyboard or pre-installed Parental Control web blockers etc...those would needed to be installed after purchase.
It may be slightly complicated seeming but it more depends on what types of programs or games you decide are appropriate to have on the machine than the laptop itself.

Keep in mind it has huge potential as a stable machine that should easily keep up with graphics, processing and storage demands in the years to come especially if it is treated well.
I would be overjoyed to be given a current generation computer at his age.

What is the best laptop for audio editing under $800?
  Toshiba Satellite P755-S5385
Absolutely one of the best laptops on the market for the price, this is a serious machine with its quad-core processor and turbo-boost technology for over 3GHz of processing speed, plus 6mb L3 cached. It even has a very decently sized screen where you would usually be ducking into the 13in range at this price. Only con I see is a slightly slow (5400 RPM) HDD. Otherwise this is a great audiophile machine with great performance.

What is the best laptop for business under $400?
  ASUS A53U-EH21
In the spirit of aiming to find you the best price without suffering too much on general computer usability here is a very decently priced Asus with only slightly reduced specs when compared to the acer or Hp. AMD E-350 Accelerated Processor is fine for office programs that you would likely wish to run, office, powerpoint or Cam conferences. The 4GB DDR3 ram (Can go up to 8GB) is plenty fast for pretty much any computer needs let alone office projects. 320 GBs of storage is great for files, documents and presentations.

Only backside I see is the slightly slower processor (although before the Turbo upgrade on the Acer, I think the Asus is technically faster) the storage is also slightly less (easily fixed with an external hard drive) and the graphics card is an older model but wont have any problems if it is used for videos or light gaming. Also Asus does not have an HDMI port. For the money I still think it has the best overall functionality for your use.

What is the best laptop for DJing under $800?
  Toshiba Satellite P755-S5380
Well to stay within your budget I wanted to find something of nearest to a mac book pro in processor power and overall performance and this was my best find.

The Satellite uses a solid Intel Core i5-2410M Processor with 6G of ram (8g max) 640gbs of Hard drive space so plenty of room to keep your music at hand, or just get some cheap external HD's and keep your laptop clean for your DJing software.

I have to agree with Kurt and Adele in that both Pcs and Macs
can work fine but on average DJ's prefer Apple for its more stable OS and therefore are less likely to have crashs during shows. And yes your machine will take a lot of use if its your primary performance laptop. If you can find one go with a refurbished mac book pro, if not, take a look at this Satellite.

What is the best laptop for gaming under $1500?
  ASUS G74SX-AH71
Well it looks like I may have found the best of both worlds in this search for a great gaming machine, Asus has a good reputation for quality (like Toshiba) and is creating top quality performance for price (MSI). Like both of the them it has the 2nd gen i7 processor and a very respectable Geforce GTX 560M graphics card with 3GB GDDR5 for Direct x 11 gaming, pretty much a requirement these days. Unlike the Qosmio (but right on par with the MSI) it comes with 12Gbs of ram (not expandable but you wont need more) and 750 Gb's of hard drive space. So you will have no problems running and storing your games. With the 17.3-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080) and back lit keyboard, it really seems to be the best choice around.

Best laptop for a student under $700?
  Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4830TG-6450
Here is an earlier model of the other acer I suggested, slightly reduced specs but I didn't want to leave you with something above your price range so hopefully one of these or Michaels suggestion can help you out.

Best laptop for a student under $700?
  Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5830TG-6402
This looks very promising but from what I can tell of some other reviewers, most have only good things to say about it but a few had problems that required refurbishment right outta the box so take it with a grain of salt but this has pretty solid specs for a small laptop at that price.

What is the best hdtv for gaming for cheap
  LG 26LS3500
LG has a pretty solid reputation in my experience for having fair prices and decent quality. May not be the best long term choice but it will certainly work until you want something more top of the line.

What is the best laptop for gaming and school under $700?
  Acer AS5755-9401
Well since you said gaming and school you can assume this is way overkill for school but with the specs it has un-upgraded its actually a pretty decent machine, with a few tweaks and some extra Ram it will be a great gaming machine for all but the most current gen releases at high graphics resolutions.

2nd gen Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM Processor 2.2GHzwith Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.9GHz

Laptop for everyday use around $500?
  Acer AS5733Z-4469
Super simple but certainly worth the price, nothing fancy just a solid laptop for general use. Big enough screen to watch movies on, not bad sound either (2 speakers) and not very heavy whole thing weighs less than 7 pounds. If the hard drive seems alittle small, use the money you save and get an external to go with it.

Bought this for my brother who also is not a fan of touchscreen, he is totally over the moon for it so far, I got it for him because the price and its lightweight for a flip phone as I know he doesn't like heavy pockets.

What is the best shower caddy for under the shower head under $40?
White Hanging Shower Caddy 3 Tiered Baskets Bath Decor
I like my stuff just in baskets and I used the "hang on the inside of your shower" idea instead of the under showerhead one, you can do either with these baskets whatever works for you. Fits tons of stuff, regular sized bottles, even the bigger pro-v conditioner bottles my girlfriend uses fit fine.

This was the perfect watch for me while running and swimming, the display is super bright and has an indigo backlight you can activate to make it even easier to read in the dark. I dont like heavy watches like the G-shocks so this was a great model for me to use, big buttons, easy setup and very readable display.

What is the best underwater camera for under $500?
Liquid Image Wide Scuba Series Mid-Size Underwater High Definition ...
This here is the mac daddy of underwater POV filming for scuba divers. If your going down you should be taking this with you. The camera is attached to your mask so whatever your looking at, the camera is capturing, comes with a 16gb SDHC card for HD filming, lenses, a flashlight, carry case. If you plan on going scuba diving regularly or even semi-regularly then I really cant talk this camera up enough. Like James said, you dont want to go cheap when documenting your life so this isnt a cheap buy but it will last and you will love it. Oh yeah and its depth rated up to 400ft!

what is the best full suspension mountain bike?
Diamondback Sortie 3 Trail Full Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch W...
Now, im pretty biased when it comes to trail bikes. My first mountain bike was a Diamondback and I have been riding them with little exception on longer trail rides, but the bikes have evolved with me so I don't feel like its purely a nostalgia thing. You are going to spend more for these top brand full suspension rides but you will notice the difference in comfort and handling if you run through several brands.

What is the best metal detector under $250?
  Garrett Ace 250 Metal Detector
Read the manual (always) and watch the DvD it will really help you get acquanited with the display and the feature it has included. Once your used to the sounds it makes over different metals you shouldn't have much problems, although it does seem to perfer a slower sweep than a few other brands.

What is the best walkie talkie to have during a natural disaster under $250?
  Motorola MR350R 35-Mile Range 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair)
I keep these charged and ready to rock in the case of a bad earthquake. I've also taken them on fishing trips and had no trouble hearing my brother about 1/2 mile away around the other side of a mountain so they have a great range from what I can tell. The sound from any distance I tried so far was very clear. They also recieve weather reports 24/7. Includes a really nice LED flashlight built into the radio so no need to carry an extra flashlight around.

Don't get too excited about the "range" of any walky talkies, that distance is from an elevated position across a valley like mountain top to mountain top. Your lucky to get clear reception with any non-professional radio past a mile of heavy forest. Test them out when you first get them, the manufacturers are more than happy to replace any defective products. And go online and get a FCC license (lasts 5 years) so that you can use the High power GMRS channels legally. Worth it trust me.

What is the best kite for surfing under $1250?
  Slingshot B3
This is a great trainer kite to start you off on the ground. Comes with an instructional DvD so watch it before you go out and start trying to control this thing. Great way I found to get it started was to lay it on its back and put 2 water bottles on the trailing edge, when it catches the wind it raises up then a little tug and the bottles roll off and your ready to go.

What is the best paintball gun under $150?
  Tippmann A-5 Basic Paintball gun
Such an awesome gun for both beginners and pros. Nicely priced and customizable. Speedball? Get an E-Grip and big Shot barrel. Woodsball? Get a Flatline barrel and a stock. It has a 1/4 inch trigger pull and has never broken or cliped a single ball. After I replaced the barrel with a ceramic it was dead on accurate. The stock barrel is useable but not great. Cyclone feeds makes it capable of puting out 15 paintballs per second into the chamber. (You would need a response trigger or E-grip to do that)
Great gun, will probably hold onto it for a few years with minor upkeep and customization.

What is the best snow blower under $500?
Greenworks 26032 20-Inch 12 Amp Electric Snow Thrower
Aside from a few trips over the cord due my clumsyness, this blower is great! Very easy to assemble, light enough even for my mom to use with ease and reliable. Starts and stops with the flip of a switch, no gas hassle. Try it out, you will be pleasantly suprised.

What is the best knife sharpener?
AccuSharp Knife Sharpener With Replacement Blades
I like thise little handheld sharpener, takes a few passes if your blades are super dull (maybe 20-40) depending on the steel. But its super affordable and the blades can just be reversed by taking out 2 screws and switching them so it lasts twice as long. Good starter sharpener.

What is the best cordless drill under $150?
  Makita LXFD01CW 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-Inch Drive...
I would be hard-pressed to find a better feeling cordless drill than this makita. It is seriously way more powerful than its size would let on. The grip is incredibily comfortable, just feels right in your hand. 18v gives it a nice kick and a pretty decent battery life but you might want to get an extra to charge while one is in use for longer projects. Also has a few tunes it plays when the charge is full so you don't have to wonder. Amusing feature not really useful but harmless.

What is the best bicycle for long distance riding under $500?
Forge CTS 1000 Road Racing Bike - Graphite Blue (19")
This is a great starter bike for longer comfortable trips, there are a few things you will want to tweak before you go all out on it, for instance I added lighter/aero wheels/rims and upgraded the tires, switched out the fork to a carbon fiber one to match my seatpost and upgraded my stem to a Thompson. These aren't really necessary right off the bat, I suggest putting some miles on it and getting a feel for what you find comfortable first.
Also I have to mention the rear gear assembly is NOT Shimano Sora. It is probably the 2300, a minor downgrade. Not a deal-killer, but worth a mention. Don't forget to adjust your derailleurs to minimize cable slippage.

What is the best sleeping bag under $100?
TETON Sports Celsius XL -25-Degree Flannel Lined Sleeping Bag, Gree...
Its a great all around sleeping bag, tons of room even for taller people. Im 5'8" so i found it to be very roomy but there was more than enough extra space for someone at least 6-8" taller to be perfectly comfortable. Its temp rated for -25 degrees Fahrenheit and your not going to find that cold weather anywhere but high mountains.
Also the flannel interior feels amazing and you don't have to lay in the cold waiting for your body temp to heat it up like some other materials they use. Only downside may be its bulk, ite pretty unwieldy so taking it on backpacking trips seems alittle unlikely, better for cold weather camping or even hunting.

What is the best laptop for gaming under $1000?
  ASUS N53SV-EH71
Great portable gaming machine, comes with 500 gb hard drive,4g ram (expandable to 16g), pretty decent GeForce GT 540M graphics card. Been playing games like Starcraft II and Dragon Age on it with no problems graphically. It has good sounds quality and is nice and solid. Some people think it alittle on the heavy side for a portable but eh..I dont have any problems with it. Only slight con I would say is the keyboard feels flimsy, reacts fine but just feels, delicate.
