I think this looks like a really nice vacuum cleaner for both carpeted areas and hardwood. Very, very well reviewed on Amazon, which is generally a pretty good sign. Uses a bagless canister system, which promises to never lose suction... it actually comes with a 5 year warranty.
Also comes with tools and attachments... all good!
Well this one comes with a permanent filter but it can also use disposable ones. I prefer disposable filters because I find it easier to clean, but it's nice to have the option of either one!
Good brand name!
I think 12 cups is a good number for an office situation. Check ut the link. Looks like a good purchase.

This looks like a good one to me, Mary. Check it out... it's a pretty basic coffee maker that can make up to 12 cups at a time. I like it because I think it looks pretty nice. It's programmable, and has a feature where you can take the carafe out as it is brewing and it will stop until you put it back.
Just your basic coffee maker, but it seems to work like a charm.

I love this little option. I think it is a cool space saving design that would be perfect for a dorm room - I know my dorm room was like a 8 X 8 box, so space is at a premium. This thing fits right in the corner of the room, so it's completely out of your way. Has a quick touch popcorn button, too.
For smoothies, I say save yourself a few bucks and go with one of these. It does a wonderful job with smoothies... leaves minimal ice chunks.
For this price you could also get a very mediocre full size blender, so why not go for a smal blender that can really crush? I think it's a good choice. Powerful little motor, easy to clean, hardly takes up any space, and I love that it makes little personal size drinks.

This would be my vote. Way under $250 and you get a bunch of photo paper. Instantly prints your pics polaroid style.
Lots of good reviews! I would get this one if it were me.

I think the $50 turtle beach phones are a great purchase. High quality sound and mic, and they are comfortable. However, I think once you get up in the $200 your money would be better spent on Sennheiser, Audio Technica, Sony, or one of these well established audio companies. I think they will offer higher quality sound reproduction than Turtle beach.

This is an awesome small business shredder, Randy. Check it out:
It has an 80 sheet capacity. This doesn't mean it can actually shred 80 sheets at once... it means it has a paper feeder (much like a printer) that can hold up to 80 sheets. So you can set a pile of 80 sheets of paper in the feeder, turn it on, and walk away. I will do all the work for you while you're off doing something more important. Very cool idea!
I guess it does occasionally get paper jams, but most paper shredders do. Also shreds credit cards and stuff. Check it out!

Cool mouse! This thing will go up to 24 months without having to change the batteries. That's a really long time, actually among the longest among leading brands. It has laser tracking, and a small unifying receiver for wireless connectivity with multiple devices.
Its 2.4 GHz wireless capabilities make it a cord-like experience with the freedom of wireless. Great mouse!

hmm I think this would be a good one for you
ergo shape that mimics the natural angle of your wrist. it's designed for business, and will be an effective tool for software developers. some ergo keyboards have a weird key layout that is difficult to get used to, but this one is mapped out right and feels pretty intuitive.... should be great for your purposes.

They wil be coming out with dlc but I doubt it will be under $10....

I know we see this game come up quite frequently on this website, but that's because it's really fun and a hell of a deal for $20 or whatever they want for it.

I'm thinking something like this would be good. Works with games old and new. Logitech has a bunch of different versions, if this one doesn't quite do it for you.... but yeah I think Logitech is always a good way to go for this sort of thing. They make a well though out, solid product.

I think this Toshiba would be fantastic. Awesome specs, great reviews, a respectable company. I have heard these are excellent machines, although I haven't personally used one. Comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M graphics, 6 GB of installed DDR3 RAM, 640 GB Serial ATA hard drive, and a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5. Great stuff, should be a great laptop for you.

This would be a pretty good one.... this or Asus' Republic of Gamers, which can also be found for under $1000.
Man this would be an awesome telescope for you. You can actually see (and take pictures of) Saturn, Mars, the Moon and other objects that are literally millions of mies away. It has excellent optics and should take some amazing pics.
It is designed to be really easy to set up use.... just basically have to get it oriented and aligned, and then you can start seeking out of the 40,000 objects in its digital database.

This will work very well for you. It it a color laser printer, from a trusted name in the print industry.
Has up to 2400 x 600 dpi resolution, and up to 30ppm color and black & white printing. Can print wirelessly, as well.
Only drawback here is the toner is a little expensive. But print quality will be excellent.
If your main concern is text then you ought to go with laser. They're fast, economical, and do an excellent job with text especially.
With a print resolution up to 2400 x 600 dpi you'll have no problem getting excellent text and graphics.
Keep in mind that this is a monochrome printer, so if you want to print color photos or something this is not the right printer!
But for cheap, high quality black and white text this is absolutely perfect.
Brother makes a nice product... look at how well it is reviewed on Amazon.

Hi Kollette, saw your question and wanted to suggest a TV for you.
This lg is perfect for watching sports, not only because it has full hd resolution, but because the relatively high refresh rate. That means even the fastest moving sports will look clear with almost no motion blur. Ideal for sports in that way.
Also, it gets wifi, so you could potentially have access to a huge variety of games!
Well when you say 'best' it sort of leaves it open to interpreting what makes a Tv the 'best one,'but I'm going to go by picture quality and reputation.
I think this Sharp might be the best one in those categories. Sharp repeatedly is among the top ranked as far as picture quality goes, and this model is no exception. With full HD 1080p resolution and 120 hz refresh rate it's about as good as you can get right now in terms of picture quality.
It has built in wifi so you can immediately access things like Netflix, CinemaNow, and Vudu.
I love the simple, sleek design and slim bezel.
I think the picture on this thing will be absolutely crystal clear, and for that I say it's the best.
Yeah I think 18.4" is as large as they get.... either this one or the Asus that Angela suggested would be a good choice. This is a monster laptop! Has some good stats, too: Intel Core i7-2630QM processor 2.0GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz), 750GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, plus a lot more.
I love this option. I think the amount of TV you get for the price here is outstanding. It's frekin huge! 73 inches is a beast of a television. And not only is it huge, but it also provides exceptional 1080p, full HD for you.
The main thing to keep in mind with one of these is that you really need a media room to get the most use out of it, or at least a very dark room with few windows. You can get a real nice display on one of these but they do suffer from too much light. So be ready for that!
I think this Samsung has a lot of features that would make it a great choice for you and your gaming purposes. Namely, the 240hz refresh rate wil be excellent for gaming (and watching sports, for that matter). Basically, 240Hz can display action and movement with very sharp detail and deep levels of contrast so your image will always be very sharp indeed. It is of course 1080p full HD, so these two things will provide a really crisp gaming experience for you. A solid choice if you ask me.
You should totally look into this beast from panasonic.... it's almost a dSLR just in how many advanced features it has! Looks like a freakin awesome little camera. Technically it still is a point and shoot, so it still has that functionality. It has a whopping 18X optical zoom (stabilized, thank god). You probably already know this because you asked for optical zoom specifically, but optical zoom is way better than digital zoom. With optical zoom your camera uses the true optical capacity of the lens to magnify your subject without losing ay any image clarity. Digital zoom merely makes the image larger, resulting in a degradation of image quality. With 18x optical zoom you will be able to get some awesome zoom shots.
Also it should be noted than Panasonic's Lumix is a great camera with a wonderful lens.... I think you will love this camera.
These shoot excellent time lapse but they are way over your budget!
There are, however, compacts in your price range that shoot time lapse, and if you're interested I can post that for you. Let me know.

2 dollars! seems to be what you are looking for.
These are amazing. A bit pricey... you can pick one up for around 8 or 9 hundred bucks. You'll get full 1080p resolution with this guy, and 1700 lumens, for a bright and clear image. Also has a pretty nice 4000:1 contrast ratio. It is a DLP projector.
Here's a nice IPS monitor in your price range. IPS is a great choice for photo editing because it enables high quality color reproduction and also gives you a wider viewing angle. It's LED backlit and will provide a bright, beautiful display of color. You will definitely be happy with the color reproduction.
My one hesitation here is that this monitor is not very versatile due to its 12ms response time, which is not very good. It will not be good for gaming obviously or anything that is moving quickly, but for editing photos or any color intensive work it will be excellent.
When dealing with photo editing/color editing and stuff you really ought to consider a monitor with in-plane switching, such as this HP. In-plane switching is going to give you the very best display for dealing with color intensive work, so this would be a great affordable option for you.

I think we will be at a place where all our cyber-info is stored in us, rather than in our devices (like a small computer chip or whatever). This way we can pick up any device, whether it be a smartphone, laptop, or what have you, and immediately have all our media available to us. At some point we will be able to pick up a screen (like a tablet) and have our whole library available immediately regardless of where we are.
Okay, maybe this is more like 20 years.... but I do think this is where we're headed.

It would be this game.... partly because of how much I love the game and how entrancing the whole environment is, partly because of what was going on in my life while I was playing this game.... just some really good memories.

Sorry if this is not what you want to hear, but you can get a headphone with much higher audio quality than either of those two for the same price as the Beats. I am assuming since it was between Beats and Skullcandy that you want some headphones that look as good as they sound. So here is a great suggestion: get some Sennheisers! This model I posted looks so fancy and nice, and they will deliver audiophile quality sound. They will sound much better than Beats or Skullcandy, too. (Beats are pretty good, but the price mark up for the name is ridiculous). If these Sennheisers are too expensive, browse some other models. Also lok into Klipsch, Audio Technica or Sony.
I will say, if you are going for style over sound, go with Dre's Beats.... because I have to say they are an attractive headphone!

Here is a good card at your price point. It's not a top of the line card by any means, but it will give you some good performance and will stay cool very effectively.
Basically I think the performance/price ratio is very good.
I think this is a nice choice at this price point. Looks like an excellent price to performance ratio here. It is certainly customizable and has a bunch of awards and stuff to back it up. It's not tiny, though. About 10" tall.
I think these would be the best, especially in terms of value. It's a large padded headset with a mic, inline amp, big old 50mm speakers, and a ton of glowing reviews to back it up. There might be better headphones out there, but not for the price.
For a great pair of headphones under $50 that also have that "cool" factor, I would look into these guys from Sony. They look so good! Sony is a great company to buy this sort of thing from. I mean just look at how cool these look! They will be different than everyone else's and sound excellent, too.
A very solid set for the price.
*TIP* you might be able to find these locally at Wal Mart or something for a lower price. Pretty sure I have seen them around somewhere before and they were cheaper....
I think this looks like it's gonna be sweet.... too bad you have to wait till it is released on March 31st...
Dual sided, padded, enhanced tracking surfaces for accuracy.
This is a very attractive headset from logitech - one of my favorite brands for this type of thing. They feature huge over ear earcups to block external noise and wrap you up completely in TF2 land. The headband is padded, too.
They have 7.1 surround sound powered by Dolby technology which will deliver fantastic audio clarity. There are 3 swappable headband pads for your comfort fit and when one wears out you can always swap 'em out.
Other features include a noise canceling mic and on-ear controls.
A bit pricey, sure, but well worth it if you want an excellent set.
For TF2 I'm thinking mostly about comfort. Sound quality must be good, but we're not shooting for audiophile type listening here... mostly we are looking for something that will comfortable for long gaming sessions and give you some stereo awareness of what is happening around you in cyber world. These will certainly do the job, and be very comfortable in the process... they are mostly designed for comfort. I think you will be more than happy with these.
I like to look for Sennheiser for high quality audio gizmos.
These have an inline mic and you can also change volume, skip tracks, answer or end calls with the inline controls.
They will sound really good for music and phone calls!
Man I was thinking about picking u pone of these myself. I like Klipsch... great sond quality. There is a possibility that these might be overwhelming in too small of a room, but you said a medium sized room, so I think they will work. Actually, they don't come with a massive woofer, which I think will be beneficial to you. Music and sound isn't really designed to be played through a woofer, actually can distort the sound quite a bit, especially in a small space. I think the lack of woofer will facilitate better audio clarity in a medium sized space. They will still kick out some nice low tones, but they won't "bump."
The games I think will be successful have already been suggested: ME 3, RE 6, Diablo 3, CS:GO
Couldn't predict which would be #1 though cuz they're all great games!
Becca is right on the money with this one! I also think these are your best choice. AKG makes some bomb headphones, and especially their semi-open ones I would say. Should have a nice warm sound in every range.

I thought the pyramid-head-man-thing in Silent Hill 2 was super creepy and awesome.... the way he moved all slow and methodically scared the hell out of me. I thought he was a great villan.

This camera is the one you want! It was designed for catching fast moving scenes. It can shoot up to 10 fps continuously. Also has great video capabilities so you can film those game winning shots.
The video and continuous shooting both use continuous Phase Detect AF, so all of your shots should be sharp and in focus, assuming you know what you're doing!
I think in your price range this would be the very best low-light shooter. With up to ISO 3200 and its 12.3-megapixel DX-format CMOS image sensor coupled with Nikon's EXPEED image processing (AND NIKKOR optics) this thing can take phenomenal low light pictures.
Truth is, the other cameras on here are also very nie, so any of these wold be a good choice. Maybe also a Canon T2i would be worth your time to look into.
With this one they boast the "Worlds1st consumer HD video camera w/ continuous Phase Detect AF" which is going to be a really nice feature for you (continuous auto focus). It can also do continuous 10 fps shooting. It shoots full HD video.
They have employed a relatively new technology on this model which is pretty cool.... a Translucent Mirror. So the a55V can feed both the image sensor and the Phase Detection at the same time, resulting in fantastic pictures and video.
Apparently gets really nice pictures... you should look at the link.

M-Tech has some of the best laptops I have ever seen. You gotta check out the link and see their website.
They offer a host of different computers, and you can configure them all to your exact specifications.
You can get ridiculous specs, like up to 4 SATA hard drives, up to 64GB DDR3, dual nVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M...... you get the idea. Check it out, pretty cool stuff.

For $50 you could pick up Arkham City... this game is super sweet! Love open world stuff.

Not knowing your system makes it kind of tough to recommend the right card, but this is a great card from Asus.
It's factory overclocked to 850 MHz for faster performance, and also has dual fans for cooling.
AMD and Nvidia are also good cards to consider.
It's totally up to you! If you don't want to spend the cash right now just wait for a while until the price drops.
But if you're into the Battlefield games, this is a pretty good installment. Multiplayer mode is a bit disappointing, and there are some bugs, but overall pretty fun.
I think the general consensus is that it's pretty good, but not amazing. Like I am not raving about it or anything. I would actually wait until the price drops, if you're having second thoughts about it.
I would suggest something like this. It has plenty of inputs for your pc/hdmi and everything else. It has a 240 Hz refresh rate which is awesome for your gaming. Also has gaming mode which reduces latency. This will be an awesome monitor. Looks great, too.
This thing seems pretty cool. Too expensive though. I'm definitely going to wait till the price goes down and I hear more good reviews before considering actually buying one. I want to play Arkham City and Skyrim with it.... see what's up

Canon's powershot would be the way to go, in my opinion.
It has Canon's DIGIC 4 processer. This thing is in many of their high-end dslr's and is very fast. Time between shots is very short. On burst mode it can shoot 8.2fps while you hold down the shutter. You can also record high speed, HD video and then watch it in Super Slow Mo. Just lots of good features for action shooting.
Two suggestions for you... one would be Aion. It is very similar in terms of its character creation/customization. You could also try Shin Megami MMO, which has a similar battle system.
Hope this helps.
Well it's no secret that it is tough to find a good low light camera at this price range! Many cameras at this price point offer high ISO settings - up to 3200 or even 6400 - but lack the proper processer needed to get a true low-noise shot.
This powershot is a step in the right direction, and probably one of the best low light shooters in its class. It only has ISO up to 1600, but that is reasonable for this camera class. There is no way you will get low noise shots on a camera like this at ISO 3200 anyways, so why bother. But up to ISO 800 you will see very low noise, and even at 1600 you will get some good low noise shots.

I was recently introduced to Acer's Iconia tablet and am thoroughly impressed. One of the better tablets I have seen...possibly the best at this price point.
It seems to have the best of everything, including a large 10 inch screen, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 2 cameras, flash abilities, and way more.
For connection options you get a micro USB, USB 2.0, and a micro HDMI, so you can watch movies on your tv. It comes with 16 gigs, but a 32 gig SD memory card is only $50 so you can immediately upgrade your memory for cheap (this is something iPad cannot do).
Very nice tablet! You should look at the link, because it's quite impressive!

Don't know what type of iPod you have, but you could try this thing. Apparently it's pretty hard to install, but it works really well once you get it in. Comes with tools and instructions, too.

There are so bomb!! Check out the link and look at the specs it has. It's huge, bulky, extremely powerful and cool looking. I guess a desktop replacement?
i5 processor, 6gb ram, 650 gb hd, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M processor. Good stuff from Toshiba.
I think this is the best all around tablet. Great for everything, including gaming. There are tons and tons of android games to choose from. it also has better resolution than iPad, which will make your gaming experience a little better. These things are powerful and awesome... check it out.

i use this one and it's pretty awesome actually.... except it's not real leather. protects well though, and looks pretty nice, even though it's not real leather

A bit over budget will get you this awesome camera from Sony. I say do it! Spend the extra cash, this is a wonderful HD camcorder... you will be so happy with the results you get from this thing.

I say go ALL OUT and get the one with the handle! Take your DDRing to the next level.

I agree with Chris that Canon's 7D is the one you need. With sports you obviously need speed over all else, and the 7D offers some of the fastest shooting available.
While the average consumer camera can shoot at about 3.5 fps (frames per second), the 7D can shoot at 8. That means if you are paying attention there is no way you will miss those bone crushing tackles. It also has an incredible high speed auto focus system, which is very important for catching clear images. The high-speed microcomputers in the 7D use advanced algorithms to ensure the fastest, most accurate AF performance around. It also shoots excellent low light shots, incase you're in a dimly lit arena or night time games.
Since you're going to be around a lot of action, you want something solid and reliable. With the 7D the shutter can shoot at speeds up to 1/8000 sec for 150,000 cycles, and the chassis is built out of the durable and rigid magnesium, and also the camera is built to resist water and dust.
Amazing camera! This will definitely get some really cool shots for you.

I have an Apple TV and here's my take on it: For the most part, it's awesome. You get access to thousands and thousands of movies and TV shows through Netflix, and you can also purchase a bunch of titles and sports that aren't on Netflix (for an additional cost of course) If you like watching Netflix, it's really cool. As for watching soccer matches, I don't think Apple Tv will be very good for it! It cannot stream live video from the Internet, and I don't think they have a good selection (if any) for soccer....at least not that I have seen.
My only complaint with Apple Tv is mine requires frequent updates, otherwise it just turns itself off. Like sometimes it will turn off and say "You are not connected to the internet" like every half hour, which gets freaking annoying... but usually it works fine if it is up to date.

I would go with the Galaxy here.
It has a big clear screen for uninterrupted viewing, and also it has a decently wide bezel so you can easily handle it without disturbing the screen. It is very powerful and fast and has access to all the droid apps of course. The high resolution screen will make text appear sharp and that will reduce eye strain. Also you will find an enormous selection of books, magazines, movies, etc. to keep you entertained for hours!!
In particular, the Kobo application will allow you to access the entire book store, which features around 2.2 million ebooks in ePub, PDF, and Adobe DRM. This app will even allow you to add ebooks bought or downloaded from other sources. You can also choose different fonts, and customize the reading experience to exactly how you want it.

Sony makes a wonderful cam-corder. Very impressive optics, all around pretty easy to use. It also has some awesome Image Stabilization. One draw back is the LCD screen doesn't perform very well in sunlight....meaning you can't really see the screen very well in direct light. Other than that, pretty impressive little camera, with HD capabilities. Resolution will be great. No fancy bells and whistles, just a simple camera that captures high quality images.

This Nikon would be a fantastic choice for portrait photography. It's actually quite remarkable that you an get a decent dslr (and lens)_for under $500, but you really can with this D3000. Of course I would also suggest getting yourself a tripod and possibly even some lighting and a backdrop.... but that can come later if need be.
So how well does this thing really perform? Well, it's got some great specs.
To start, it has a 10.2-megapixel DX-format imaging sensor. This will allow for prints up to 20 x 30 inches... definitely reasonable for portrait use. It comes with a 3x 18-55mm Zoom-Nikkor VR Image Stabilization Lens. This is a great lens that will allow for fast, accurate autofocus, resulting is vivid colors and crisp shots....high quality optical equipment here!
This camera has various modes, one of which is "portrait" so finding the right settings can be as easy as selecting the correct mode.
I think another thing that would be useful for portraits is the continuous shooting, up to 3 frames/second. Portrait shooting is a very delicate thing, and every expression counts.
I think you'll be able to get those nice professional looking shots where the subject is perfectly in focus while the background is blurred. Good luck!

This is a seriously well equipped BOMB camera from Canon. There are so many features to talk about, but I'll narrow it down to some that I feel are important. In general, you're going to find that this camera offers amazing picture quality and fast operation while maintaining a sense of intuitive, easy control.
First off, it has an impressive 18 megapixel, CMOS sensor and dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors for very high image quality and speed (that's right, 2 processors). So not only can it take very large pics (more pixels literally means bigger), it also has the processing power to deal with the huge files very quickly, without slowing you down. More megapixels (mega=million) does mean you will need more storage, but it also means you can make larger prints that are still very sharp.
It comes with a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM standard zoom lens, which captures incredibly sharp images.
Let's see, what else....
The auto focus is amazing. It has a 19-point recognition system that somehow always knows what the focal point is and basically always gets it right.
If you need to catch some action, you will be pleased to know that it can do continuous shooting up to 126 large/JPEGs! (with a UDMA CF card... you will definitely need to purchase some sort of memory card, and it supports CF Card Type I and II, UDMA-compliant CF cards)
If you find yourself in a low light situation, you can be assured you will still get a good shot, sans flash. With ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12,800) and one heck of an image sensor you will have no problems shooting in lowlight, assuming you are knowledgable in ISO settings.
This is a sweet camera! You will get amazing pictures with it!

For a kid I am thinking durability and simplicity are important features. I don't know how old your child is, but I know kids can be rambunctious. I think this might be your best option at this price point. I like that it's waterproof, because that also means that it's dust proof and that it has a little extra layer of protection.
The waterproof thing is, unfortunately, not perfect. I guess some users complained that it leaked even at shallow depths, but some had good experiences and got some really nice underwater shots.
But I am not suggesting this for underwater pics, just as a durable camera with a nice extra layer of protection.
As far as picture quality, the 12 megapixels should look pretty nice. It's not going to be breathtakingly sharp, but I think that is to be expected here. They will be decently high quality pics.
A really cool feature that I'm sure your kid will like is the easy share aspect, which allows you to share your pictures online with just a couple clicks.... like facebook and email and stuff. Very easy. I also think the 2.4" LCD screen will be fun.
All in all, I think this is a great camera for a kid who wants an easy way to take some decent pictures and share them with their friends!

You could think about this Cowon...although I still like iPods better.
But this thing is pretty awesome, it's just way over priced.
It will play just about any video or audio format, which is really cool. It's got a really nice little screen and is fun to use.
The drawbacks? PRICE. Why is it so expensive? What's the deal? Also - -no camera. I also heard their customer support isn't great.

I think this looks like a great glove. You like leather gloves? I do and I think these look seriously warm. Leather gloves are wonderfully warm and do allow for some dexterity. You should look into these.

This is what I would suggest. There's plenty of room inside for easy cable management, water cooling system, and fan cooling as well. The thing is huge! I makes working on it very easy and enjoyable. Drives install quickly and hassel free.
I also want to say that it is a very nice looking case and it isn't cheap feeling at all. Oh and the fans that are included are nice and quiet!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I know that in some areas the price for scrap metal is really high, and when that happens people will do anything to cash in on it, even at other people expense.
Anyway, check out this link... it says this universal catalytic converter will fit your Jeep.
Good luck with the repairs!

I would definitely say go with a Xoom. For movie watching you want a high res, large screen and some nice internal specs..... Xoom has a 10.1-inch screen, uses android 3.0 (Honeycomb), and has an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor. It uses a laptop-esque 1280 x 800 resolution, so movie watching should be awesome. I think Xoom will have the prettiest screen, which for movie watching is exactly what you're going to want.

I agree with Sean that you should go with a full set if you don't have the gear already. You need all of this stuff to play, so you might as well get it all together.
Tippman makes a pretty nice marker, this one is like AK-47 style.
The best thing about this gun is that it's big and heavy, and can take some serious abuse. It's not going to fal apart on you, no sir.
I think this is an excellent kit for a beginner.

I like Kindle for PC. You can install it on Windows 7 for free....no Kindle required! It's a good option because it gives you access to like 1/2 a million Kindle Titles. It's got an extremely user friendly interface. It also installs very quickly.
Also try the Barnes and Noble Reader (I believe that's the name of it), I think it's very similar and actually has more titles than Kindle.

I would have to suggest Western Digital to you, as I have always had good experiences with their products. I don't own this drive, but if I were to buy one (and I will be soon) this would be the one.
It is mac ready, by the way.
WD's are fast and reliable. 3T is tons of space to develop your own 'Cloud', as it were.
Go ahead and look into this one, it should be a good bet for you.... get one with less storage space if you don't find it necessary to have 3T....this wil obviously bring the price tag down.

This one is right in your price range. It has a gorgeous display. Check it!

I use this for my Acer netbook and have no complaints. It's like a little tiny padded briefcase. It has a handle and a shoulder strap. The padding is more than adequate for travel. It also has enough space for a book and some cords...necessities like that. Good case... well built.

If you want something super tough I would have to say go with an Ariens. Built tough as nails. They're designed for big jobs.
You can pick one up at Home Depot, but be willing to drop at least $900 on one.

I would suggest Rheem. This one in particular would be a great choice. Rheem makes really good stuff like water heaters and furnaces, and it's definitely a brand you can trust.

I do a bit of gaming, this Viewsonic is the monitor I have and I think it's great. I do a lot of photo editing, movie watching, gaming. Everything looks amazing. Very bright, vivid colors.
Of course it's full HD, and it even comes with a 3 year warranty. Pretty good!

I would suggest this one to you, mostly because it's the one I use and I am pretty happy with it. It's not the fastest but it's not bad. Easy to use and quite durable...I've been using the same one for a couple years.

I use this little dock for my ipod -- I don't have a nano but it will work for any ipod, including nano.
The sound isn't amazing but it's pretty good, about what you would expect for a little unit like this.
It's small, simple, affordable, and gets the job done.

Who ya gonna call? Gustbusters!
Wow that was pretty lame....
But this umbrella isn't! These are super tough and have wind vents so it won't fly away on you.

Well I think wireless is definitely the way to go here, Kimberly. I personally like the freedom wireless gives me, especially if I'm going to be on for a while. I like not being hardwired to my computer!
The sound quality is great for Skype (both going out and coming in) but I can't really recommend them for music listening.... not that great! Just not very ful.
I think they are pretty comfortable, although after long sessions I guess they get a little uncomfortable, but not too bad.
They are built pretty solidly, too.
Over all, I definitely recommend them to you! I am happy with their performance as of yet, and I love that wireless capability.

This thing has 17 buttons! Man it takes some getting used to, but it's super useful for wow, and therefor starcraft. It comes with little stick on button-raisers to help you navigate the numberpad, like a cell phone has. It's cool you can have all your abilities and stuff right there on the mouse, and once mastered it will be very quick to navigate.
I wish the mouse was actually a little bigger and heavier, because to me it feels a little light and cheap.... but it doesn't act like it's cheap. In fact, it's very quick and accurate.
Really cool, but be ready to practice, because it definitely takes some getting used to.

This looks like a nice option, too. Similar to the hooks, but this way you can mount it a bit lower, if you need to. You can put it right on the wall and your tires won't scuff it up.
A bit pricier. Just another option!

As far as quick set up goes, this is going to be your best bet. Yes, it has poles, but it's tough to find a high quality tent like this that doesn't use poles. I can set it up in under 3 minutes I would say.
It's designed for two people, but it's as light as a lot of one person tents I have owned in the past.
Very high quality... I can't speak highly enough about this tent!

This might work for you....pretty inexpensive, too. Put 10 pics in each one. YOu can off set them from each other on the wall to take up more space, and it will look sort of modern and cool.

this is a wonderful electric fondue set, only one complaint with it: the stand is not detachable. This makes it a drag to clean, and store in my cupboard. really big. however, the plug does detach, which helps a bit.
you can make chocolate fondue, cheese fondue, or really anything your little heart desires.
it heats up quickly without the need for stirnos, which is a huge plus to me.
comes with 8 fondue forks. great for entertaining or date night with the lady.

this flashlight is super duper bright!
tactical makes it sound cooler than it is... it's basically just a flashlight with a couple neat little features.
it has a magnet in the base so it can attach horizontally or vertically to any magnetic surface - this is nice for hands free work.
it has 3 different light setting for brightness, so you can save on batteries if you wish.
runs on 3 AAAs
it's built tough and that's what i really like about it. won't be breaking on you.
also has strobe function.

Why not get a whole set?!
Perfect for reading newspapers, maps, anything small (duh) also good for observing nature, like plants and insects in the wild.

This is a fantastic boot. I saved up a little money last year to buy these because I wanted something not only stylish but warm and weather resistant, too.
They are not completely waterproof, but pretty close. The sole certainly is.
They are quite comfy and quite warm.
*word to the wise* order at least one size too small. The come really big for some reason, I had to exchange my original pair for one a full size smaller to ensure proper fit. Now they fit right and I love them.

This is an awesome little plane. It's easy to fly, and you can pretty much start flying right out of the box, which is very exciting. No assembly required... the main reason I bought this one.
As far as flying it, it's easy and the controls are simple. It's designed for beginners, so while there aren't as many flight options, it's much easier to learn on. Later you can move on to a more sophisticated flying system.
I am able to actually take off from the ground (on a flattop road, which happens to be right above a field) and cruise around a bit over the field... landing is of course quite difficult, but I can usually pull it off without fatally wounding the aircraft.
It's very light, so flying in wind is kind of out of the question. Too hard to control. It's super fun though and I certainly recommend it for some casual flyin.

this is a great car. there are a lot of things i like about it and a lot of things that are, ehh.... kind of annoying. the good: it looks fantastic. nice details, proportions, all the colors and finishes look really good. it goes pretty fast, too, especially on tile or linoleum.
the annoying: really low clearance really limits your driving possibilities, and the turning radius is not great.
but I have to suggest it because it looks awesome and is a lot of fun to play around with!

I really like this flavor. It's really light and fluffy, and REALLY tasty. I would say it's a little bit greasy, but not any more than other delicious popcorns.

I think that's what's cool about this website.... not just product REVIEWS, but actual product SUGGESTIONS. There is a huge difference.

this is a pretty nice tupperware system. it actually does make finding the right lid a lot easier, mostly because all the lids snap together. I just keep all the lids snapped together until I need one. That way I always know where they are.
Also, each lid will fit on a few different sized containers, so its that much easier.

Right up front: I have never been on a cruise. BUT, my best friend from college now works on Carnival boats as a musician (he plays drums).
I picked his brain about the boats, because I was thinking about doing something similar.
He says all the Carnival boats are amazing... some older than others, but all kept very nice. They are absolutely massive, and there are a million things to do. He says the entertainment on the Carnival ships is always really good - I'm talking about the live shows and stuff- and that the audience is definitely impressed and entertained every night, and also that the music is good and professional.
He also says the food is outstanding.
To me, all I would really want to do on the boat is eat a lot of food and watch some shows (both of which Carnival seems to excel in).
But the real reason I would want to go on a cruise is not for the boat, but for the destinations. You may never go to these places again, so it's a good idea to pick destinations that really interest you the most.
Hope this helps!

I purchased the Monster Turbine High Performance in-ear Speakers (they call 'em speakers but they're just earbuds!) and they are quite impressive, sound-wise. Very clear audio, and they even deliver some low, clear bass notes. Surprisingly good for an earbud.
On the flip side, they feel cheaply made. Now, I know that they're not cheaply made because of how beautiful they sound, so I think maybe a better word is delicate?
Don't expect durability, do expect clear sound.

I love the modern feel this ting adds to my living room. By far the coolest looking aquarium I've ever owned. It really looks wonderful, and my fishies are happy little swimmers, and I'm sure they are proud to call this place home.
Overall, wonderful aquarium, and I'm glad I have it. If I had to change two things about it, however, I would 1)ditch the accompanying heater, because it's pretty much useless. Does not get hot enough, and barely warms the water.
2) It's hard to clean! Some of the angles in there make it a doozie to clean, at least compared to some of my other tanks I've owned in the past. I can deal with it though because I think it looks marvelous.

I would say the tamping is the most important part, with the most variables that can effect your espresso. You must make sure the 'puck' of grounds is evenly distributed and packed.
REALLY keep in mind you want the whole puck to be as even as humanly possible because you want the water to move through the entire puck evenly. If the water finds a quick way through the grounds it will not brew right! And you will lose a lot of flavor/crema.

What can I say..... A great receiver from a great company!!! It has an optical audio input, along with a thousand other inputs (not quite but close) on the back.
These are great receivers that will produce a big, rich sound for you.
It's totally affordable and totally powerful.

I like this one because I think it's a little different than all the other ones I see. All the others are a cube glass thing. This one's a little different and I like that it holds it up a bit, like it's proudly displayed.
it's only 5 dollars, and to be honest it looks and feels like it's worth about 5 dollars. but that's okay it displays my autographed ball and so I am satisfied.

This jacket is ridiculously expensive, but it's also ridiculously warm, AND waterproof. If you live in a nasty weather climate, you simply MUST invest in a high quality jacket, or you will be miserable. I finally bit the bullet and decided to purchase this after years of freezing my ass off and being miserable in the winter months.
I am absolutely delighted with its performance. Amazing jacket. It keeps me incredibly warm. If I layer underneath I swear i could survive a winter in Alaska. Magically, I never get too hot, either. How is this possible???
I cannot recommend this jacket any higher! If you need serious warmth, this is your guy.

This is an amazing shell right here, Bobby. It's completely waterproof, a thick nylon shell. Great outerwear.... not all that warm on its own but add a solid layer of down underneath and you'll be in good shape.

I know this is a SSD hybrid and everything but I had to recommend this thing because you can't beat the space to price ratio. 500GB for 100 bucks! Now your speaking my language.
It's a little slower and noisier than an SSD, I'll admit. But for what it offers I think it's a steal.

i just have to recommend this lens because it's flipping amazing, and still relatively new to me so I am pumped about it still.
your first lens should be versatile, and this one offers versatility at its very finest.
I can take a fine wide angle landscape with amazing depth and clarity, then go home and take close up portraits in equal high quality.
It's expensive, but you simply won't believe the difference between the pictures you get with this lens and the factory lens. amazing stuff. my pictures are now quite high quality instead of just pretty good.

these are definitely ski pants but they are awesome looking and functional.
they are water proof, they're comfortable, flexible... and a little more interesting that you average black snow pant.
I find them to be very warm and comfy.... a little loose fitting but I'm okay with it.

Almonds are the best man!! I take a ziplock full of these to work everyday and it really helps keep my blood sugar up and staves off not only my hunger but my grouchiness.
Almonds contain vitamin E and calcium, as well as phytochemicals - all good things that make it a 'superfood' type thing.
PLUS they taste really really good! I can't get enough and I suggest you do the same.

this is a great little bag by a trusted name in backpacks. keep in mind it is REALLY small! but if that's what you want, this will be perfect. great for little outings where you need some sunscreen, maybe a couple snacks, a rain poncho.... that sort of thing. Small and light, just like you want, and pretty inexpensive. This will be great for you.

I used a McDavid when I sprained my ankle and was very pleased with it. It is a high quality ankle brace with great support, especially under the foot. The arch support and ankle suport are fantastic, and the design mimics a fully taped up foot. It feels good as soon as you get it strapped on and offers some serious relief from ankle grief.

This is an awesome easel! Functional and space saving. I love that it folds up...otherwise I just wouldn't have enough space for it. Easy to fold up and set up too. Even has a drawer for your supplies...just be care ful not to spill it out.
My only complaint is in the structural department. The legs are quite wobbly, although not too wobbly to paint on, just wobbly and I wish the wood was a little sturdier. Also, the wood isn't really finished, so it's a little prickly. It's something you could totally sand and paint if you wanted to. All around I love it and it's a great tool to have for my painting hobby!

Esquire is good. It's like a mens lifestyle magazine....not fashion specific. That's why I like it. It has articles on fashion, cars, news, chicks, beer... everything to help you become a sophisticated gentleman. We all need help with that, that's for sure.

if you are at all interested in growing some veggies i can't think of a better book than this one! this guy is a genius and he really knows what he's talking about when it comes to gardening, and especially vegetable gardening.
It's especially useful because it covers every aspect of the gardening process, from building the garden to planting it to growing it to keeping bugs/animals away. Everything you need to know to have fresh tomatoes on your salad, right here!

This is a great new product that I stumbled on in my search for a new mixer after mine completely failed on me.
it's cool because you can record to your computer and your iPod at the same time, and then instantly listen to a mixed playback on your iPod.
Great mixer from a great name in the industry. Sounds great... 3 band/channel, nice effects, very happy with it.

I like the od fashioned igloo playmate! In my experience it's better than the soft shell variety because it A) doesn't leak out the bottom if there's moisture, and B) it will keep your stuff cooler for longer. Those soft shells tend to get warm quite easily and certainly won't last all day in the sun. This is my go to guy for picnics or any fun in the sun activity.

Do you think that presenting a book about race to a child who is too young will in fact create racist thoughts in a mind that hasn't even made the distinction between race yet? It just might influence them to make that distinction at an early age, which is not a good thing.
I don't know if this is true..... just wondering....

This thing works quite well at actually picking up the poop. The problem is that it requires 2 hands to use, making it difficult to empty the contents into a bag. you need an extra hand. good for relocating poop into the woods or something!

This suitcase is perfect in almost every single way. It is made well with quality materials. It rolls well on inline skate style wheels. Has plenty of packing room for me, and I especially like the color and style. It's very light and padded for protection. Has integrated shoe pockets and even comes with a wet bag for travel.
My ONLY complaint (and I hate to be picky, but...) is the zippers are hard to zip. They are very touchy and 'sticky' .... they just don't want to slide very well. If they fixed this one thing it would be the ultimate suitcase.
It's pretty close though, and I admire the design for the rest of the bag, so am still a pretty happy camper.
Those zippers though. Rough.

Bingo! this is perfect for you. patriotic for sure. I bought one for my dad for father's day because he had been talking about how he wanted to show his love for his country a little better.
It's made of plastic, which is kind of a bummer, but it is heavy enough plastic to feel quite durable, like it will last a while.
Mounting is easy; has four screw holes just like a license plate.
Satisfied with my purchase!

i think a simple lightweight sweater like this is the most useful thing to get. wear it by itself in the mild months and then add layers to it as the temps drop. very versatile and classy looking. maybe not this color, but something similar would do you very well.

i would suggest NOT spending a ton of money on a new pair of skates if you're a beginner because you might not even enjoy it!
this is plenty of skate for a beginner. durable shell, comfortable, tight fit and smooth rolling wheels.
they look b.a. too. start here. next year you can up grade if you want to.

Let me start by saying I know nothing about muscle protein! But, my brother works out all the time and he is HUGE, I mean built like a tank, and I know he uses this stuff because i always see it at his house.
We were just talking about it in fact, and he said something about it having the purest type of protein isolate which is optimal for bulking up on muscle.
It obviously works for him!

these are awesome and easy to install if you know how to wire and stuff. if not either find a friend who does or take them in to someone.
they're cool though. super bright! different options like flashing or not. also can be music sensitive.
seriously bright leds!

Awesome articulated glove. You put them on and they're immediately snug and secure around your hand. Easy finger movement with padding on each knuckle and wrist padding. The glove material provides a nice cushioned layer even without the padding, and is definitely impact/wear resistant. I can get a real solid handlebar grip with these gloves thanks to the leather grip.
When you put them on you immediately feel more secure and protected... a feeling I certainly enjoy!
Not for cold weather riding. That is the only drawback. Would be good until mid fall, then you might need a heftier glove if you plan on riding in the snow!

if you're looking for an easy install or something that's not too overbearing or flashy....a simple step that easily fits on almost any vehicle, this is your step. quick install (although it does require some drilling) and a great finished product. a very sturdy step. simple and out of the way....exactly what I wanted.
I'm not into those flashy chrome steps.... too fancy. i just want a step, man!
highly recommended. a wonderful sturdy step.

Just what I wanted - a big, heavy watch that is as useful as it is strikingly good looking. All that gold on there makes it look really blingy, but in a manly way. I think it's the bulk that makes it manly. Ha i don't know, but it's really cool.
In the wrong light it can be tough to see the hands because they are not contrasting enough to the watch face, but this happens rarely, and usually I have no problem seeing it.
I recommend it to yo very highly if you want something phat and sophisticated!

Great aviators... probly the best I've had! I love this style and pretty much wear aviators exclusively. I finally decided to invest a little money in a nice pait of shades because I was sick of my cheap pairs scratching and breaking all the time.
also, the fact that they are more expensive is actually motivation for me to take better care of them. hopefully this tactic works and they don't break after a week due to my clumsiness.
but I was immediately happy with my purchase. they come wit a ray ban cleaning cloth and case. they feel really light and comfortable, and of course the ray ban lenses are great. very clear and a nice medium dark hue.
my only concern is that they are SO lightweight and the rails are so incredibly thin that they could snap right in half if not taken care of properly! just gotta be extra careful with them.
as of now, no problems to report... I am a happy camper.

Ahh black socks that stay up! Finally!

This one's pretty cool. very simple design, just a straight ahead shiny stainless pipe. looks great on my jetta.... you can probably get on for any vehicle.
it looks a heck of a lot better than my old tip that was all rusted and stuff... brings a little zing back.
I do have a slight problem with rust, though. after one brutal winter it's showing some signs of wear an tear, a little bit of rust on the inside edge. :(
Looks good though, easy to install, and cheap, so I'm a pretty happy camper.

Here's a quick, easy, cheap and effective solution to your problem. Adds a lot of cushion and makes up for the low angle in most bucket seats.
My car has really deep buckets, and being a small guy made it uncomfortable to position myself in the right way so I could see everything. These couple inches and the wedge shape helped me a bit with my predicament. But mostly, I just like it because it's comfortable and eases the stress on my lower back.
Helps a lot with long car trips especially.

I got some of these for my jeep. they're pretty nice... i like the mesh pockets on the side.... awesome having that extra storage. they fit pretty well, a little saggyness, but nothing too bad. i like them! check it out.

These are great! I can't sleep in pants, so the sets with pants are useless to me. These, on the other hand, fantastic. Comfortable, decent looking, and with shorts instead of pants....perfect. I wish they were 100% cotton, but I guess you can't win them all. Still comfortable. Still a good purchase!

Awesome jacket, especially if you like to listen to you iPod when you're wearing it. Has a convenient iPod pouch. I like the style, the way it looks. It's 100% polyester and water resistant. The material feels like it's water resistant, if you know what I mean. It doesn't breath or ventilate very well, but on the flip side it blocks out moisture, so I guess you have to decide what's important to you.

I would definitely say this is the way to go, as far as combining hiking and walking around town. Like a hiking boot but more lightweight, these trail runners provide unmatched comfort in the streets of town. They look very casual and stylish in today's modern, fast paced world. As comfortable as a running shoe with the support and tread of a hiker.
Of course it won't be quite as thick or durable as a hiking shoe. These things are designed for speed and endurance and are therefor lightweight and thinner. They're still designed for trails, so they will be medium tough, but lighter materials generally means less durability.
You trade off a little durability for comfort. Worth it for me, but this isn't about me, it's about you!

I use this pack for hiking but I imagine it would be just as useful for traveling. I like it especially because it has so much cargo room! You can fit tons of stuff in there - wallet, rain poncho, mp3 player, keys, water bottles (yes, multiple water bottles - you can attach one to the outside and put one inside...great for long trips) and it will stay relatively comfortable.
Of course, all of this is to good to be true, and there is a slight drawback to this thing. If you look at the pics you can see how the waist straps were designed. They have these little clips that are supposed to make it extra adjustable or something, but they really backfire on the design. The clips are constantly being shaken loose a little bit and moving around. This means lots of adjusting for the wearer... lots of re-tightening.
So purchase some tape or something while you're at it to hold those straps in place. This will make you a happy camper!

This is exactly what one would expect from a great company like adidas: a light, air-like material that keeps your body heat regulated as best as a shirt can. Blocks some and lets your skin breathe. I like that its's 60% cotton because this allows for a better ventilated shirt, than, say, polyester or rayon, which some golf shirts are made of. The long sleeves help to protect my arms, too, and its ligh color reflects sun away from my body.
Light as air, man! Great polo.

I agree it's important to have one of these in your car, even in these, the days of GPS. Who knows when that GPS unit could fail or break or lose reception? That can't happen to this atlas. Gotta have one around (especially if you're travelling) as a backup.... kind of like a spare tire.
I do have a garmin and use it all the time - certainly more than the atlas. But there are times when the atlas is nice, and superior to the GPS. For example, when I just want to look at the over all map of a city and orient myself...can't do this on my GPS very well.
I also have a sort of fascination with maps and find it very interesting to see the big picture of the area I'm in. I like to be able to see all the surrounding areas and national parks and lakes and stuff - this you can't really do with a GPS. I mean you can, but it's a frustrating type in your search type situation.
I've always used these Rand McNally's and they are awesome. Very clear, lots of detail... pretty accurate. Learn the legend in the beginning and you'll be golden.

I've tried a lot of compression shorts in my day... lots of soccer and lots of basket ball. These are by far the best I'v used for two reasons.
First and formost, they actually stay put (unlike similar under armor products) for a whole game. No more bunching up. They stick right where you put them.
Second, they are lighter than other pairs. I really appreciate this when I'm really exerting myself. It's nice to have a light, ventilated thing going on down there, especially on hot days. We all know how sweaty we can get.
Nice moisture wicking, too. Wonderful compression short - the only one I will buy now!

i just can't say enough good things about this shoe. from the way it looks to the way it feels to it's overall solid build, it's a fantastic shoe.
The thick sole is key to surviving harsh environments.
It's called the'Redrock' hiking shoe for pete's sake! perfect.

This thing looks awesome - tons of lights and stuf. Looks impressive. Does am/fm, cd, ipod, usb. Sounds good.
However, it's not backlit. This is kind of a problem, as some of the controls can be hard to find sometimes.

This is a ridiculously nice robe that I was lucky enough to receive as a gift last christmas. It is 100% silk and is probably the softest thing I've ever felt on my body.

Man this is a great CB for a truck. I had one in my Dakota and it was awesome. Very clear audio, which I really appreciate. Also is bluetooth capable, in case you're into that. Talking on the phone while driving is illegal in my state so I use the bluetooth all the time. It works really well for me, and again the audio is nice and loud and clear.
I say it's designed for a truck because it is a pretty large unit and I think it would be too much for a car's dash to handle. Has 40 channels and an easy to read display. Easy to use, in general.
I think this is a great unit and you will be happy with your purchase!

got these as a christmas present and couldn't be happier! amazingly comfortable... almost feels better than a foot massage! the lining is so fluffy and soft it just rocks my world. i wish i could wear them all day, every day. if i could, i would.

If it's made of plastic, this stuff will work very well.
I guess it also depends on the depth of the scratch... but for your every day wear and tear scratches, this stuff really does the trick.
just follow the directions.... be sure to use the right cloth and the right technique, as explained on the product. should take care of it for you. it works for me.

I would say definitely not. too greasy in there for duct tape

This stuff is really good. Work great on stains if you spray them right after the stain happens. Wash as warm as recommended on tag with a good stain fighting detergent.

I like this hat because it's comfortable and doesn't have logos and brand names smeared all over it. I have been called a dork for wearing it because it has a velcro clasp in back, but I don't care I like this hat and I'm gonna wear it all I want.
It has a nice, already been worn in look, and was immediately comfortable on my head. just what i was looking for, and apparently I'm not the only one.

Mens elevator shoes work pretty well. It's embarrassing that they're called that, but they are and they work like a charm. These here add like 3" to your height.
http://www.amazon.com/TOTO-Inches-Taller-Increasin...
may sound silly but for a short guy like me it's nice to have a couple extra inches! Pretty discrete, too. they just look like fancy dress shoes. they are very comfortable and well made out of nice materials. good looking all the way around.
they do have a slight heel, but that's what you get when you wear elevator shoes.

these are cool, really cool shoes. lots of support thats why i like them. i like how these high top skate shoes look and i feel like they offer me more support in my ankle. big cushioned tongue in proper skate shoe fashion.

yeah they're quite inexpensive and easy to install. shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to install one. definitely get someone to do it for you if you're not comfortable with electronics.

I actually don't really have any suits at all. I have a nice pair of black pants and a couple decent jackets that I can wear with them... but that's about it. Nothing super fancy like a tux. I just haven't really had the need for something like that.

i think i would like to see my name on a jersey. that would be a pretty cool gift. i think it also depends on the last name. if he has a long, weird last name, maybe you should go with a favorite player, you know?

Yes Merrells are amazing! They make a great heavy duty boot and light weight shoe as well. I actually have both! They're the only hiking shoe for me.
This is a great all around outdoor athletic shoe. I wouldn't be surprised if Bear Grylls or whatever wore these on his show.
They are constructed well, out of durable materials, are comfortable from the get go and have terrific grips on the bottom. Lov 'em, so will you.

Brand doesn't matter, but make sure you get the right type for your car. I think all brands are about the same exact thing... I don't think one brand is particularly great. but like i said, check your manual or the net fo the right type for your year and model car.

I love this ring. I bought one for myself last year, wear it every day and it still looks great and hasn't really changed at all since I bought it!
I think it's such a great design - the contrast that the black and steel makes is striking.

Try this stuff. I think it smells fantastic. Light with a hint of spice and citrus? kind of. I don't know... hard to explain. I like it though... so do chicks ;)

This is a fantastic trimmer for a medium sized lawn. I can't say if the batteries would last for a massive lawn, but for my medium sod half acre lot it does the job very nicely. Batteries haven't died on me at all during a trim.
It's incredibly light which I appreciate, as heavier ones tend to get hard to use after a while, especially in the hot sun.
I did myself some internet research on trimmers before I got mine and some people had been complaining about the battery life of these things, like they only last for 20 or 30 minutes. I find I can use mine for a solid 30 mins, which is all I need to get through my stuff.
I suggest it.. it really worx well ;)

I would probably say this is about as fashionable as it gets as far as mens sandals, until you start getting into more of an androgynous look. This is still masculine but fashionable. Comfortable, too. I have a pair of these exactly and wear them almost daily. They are leather so they like form to your foot is this glorious way that make them unsurpassable in their comfort.

Awesome, awesome, awesome work socks!!!!!!
Throw out all your other work socks because these are all you will ever want to wear again. For real I love these socks. You know that feeling when you put on a brand new pair of socks... that soft, heavenly feeling?
Ya, these have that feeling all the time. I always said that if I was rich I would only ever wear brand new socks, but with these that would be unnecessary. You need these.

So these might be kind of cliche, but they're cool because you can get whatever you want engraved on there. Personalize it, ya know?

been using this stuff my whole life! great all around wax for just about any vehicle. easy application, stays on for a while, shines up your car real good. pretty good at covering up those little tiny scratches that tend to show up. the 'chip stick' that comes with it is kind of useless, but the wax itself is top notch.

This is a great article about that kind of stuff. I'm pretty much clueless so i needed a little reading material to help me out.

I think this is a fantastic bracelet.... I'm wearing one right now. Weird. I was looking for a bracelet that was masculine but beautiful and I think I found it. It's not super flashy, but it's a bit fancier than just like a leather band or something.
Looks and feels solid and well built.

These are great you should totally get a real climbing carabiner. Way more rugged and over all cooler than imitations!
I'm not really into the pics they use to advertise these.... kind of off putting. BUT, these are awesome undershirts. Totally worth the price. The material is SUPER soft and they fit really tight and slim, just how I like it. If you have a small - medium frame, this is the shirt for you.
I just hate loose fitting undershirts! These are where it's at.

I don't like the visibility reduction you get when you put one of these on your windshield.... I don't know, kind of annoying to me. That's why this device works for me so well... sits right in your cup holder. It even adjusts to fit just about any cup holder, and should fit just about any mobile device as well.
Only problem? You have to forfeit a cup holder. Not a big deal for me because I'm usually the only one in my car, but for a family or something this could be an issue.

This is a pretty handsome belt if I may say so. It's reversible, so you have the option of going back to brown if you need to.
The nickel buckle looks awesome. It's made by dickies, so it's gonna be strong and able to take a beating.

I've had that problem before, too man. Too many radio stations around, so every station I came to already had some signal coming through. It was completely useless so I completely gave up on it.

I guess for me it is all aesthetic, now that i think about it. I like the look of the low sock with a running shoe. Makes you look athletic or something.

I would say scissor jacks are pretty darn easy to use. the trick is finding the right place on your undercarriage to put the pressure.
scissor jacks look much more complicated than they actually are, and all you have to do is put the handle through the loop and twist. Doesn't require any real strength or technique, if that's what you're worried about.

I'm a big fan of brown wallets. I don't know why. Just like them better. I like bifolds because they are thinner to begin with than trifolds.... just harder to keep that way!

If you're really serious about it get some sort of cone brush with an adapter for a power drill. This is a really effective method and very quick. You'll probably damage the brush a bit if you're too rough, so be gentle.
Use with some sort of metal cleaner or a specific wheel well/hubcap cleaner (follow the directions they give you) and your hubs will shine right up, guaranteed.
Best, of course, if used with a cordless drill.... way easier than lugging a cord all around.

You should look into shoes that are designed to be used on or in the water, my friend. If you want to stay with a flip flop style, check out something with a nice leather sole... a lot of leather can have a nice grip to it.
Check out these sailing sandals... they might be just what you're looking for.

There are actually different types of hinges used, but the most common and probably easiest to deal with is just a pin that runs width-wise across each link and acts like hinge. Does yours have little pin sized holes along the sides with a little pin in there? On one side it will look like miniature flat head screwdriver heads.
You should look into some BFG MT's. They are awesome multi purpose tires. Barely any road noise, nice in the rain, nice in the mud.... everywhere. I have 32's on my 2007 and the control and versatility is fantastic.

As far as jackets go i would say check out Marmot. They have jackets that are 100% waterproof that actually breath a little bit, too. They are pretty lightweight and comfortable and attractive, too. Not like a rain poncho or anything.

I think there is a nice middle ground here.... a semi slouchy beanie. I have one. It's not as hippy-ish as those super slouchy hemp ones, yet it's also not as tight as your regular beanie. Beanie's are okay but certainly not very stylish. See if you can find something like what I am talking about.... it's versatile and can really be worn any way he wants to. He can fold it up a little bit or slouch it down....either way, doesn't matter.

i don't know if i can afford that 650 fill stuff but but thanks for the tip!

Howard hit the nail on the head. The amp is the most important component here. When you think about it, the woofer just receives information from the amp and displays it. The amp has to supply the right amount of power to make the woofer respond how you want it to. Go ahead and invest a little more and get a good amp, otherwise the woofers were a waste of money!

Actually I think Ray bans are classier looking than a watch. A watch can be from anywhere, and it's sometimes hard to tell if it's even a nice one just by glancing at it. Ray bans, on the other hand, are always instantly recognizable, and I like that about them. get him a case for them, too, so they won't break on him.

Actually fuzzy dice are illegal to hang in your windshield! But not because they are fuzzy dice. Anything in your windshield that obstructs your view is illegal and you could actually get up to a $100 fine... at least in some states. I would say Kim above is absolutely right in that you probably won't get pulled over just on account of the dice, but maybe just because they need an excuse sometimes, and this is a valid one.
The weird thing is that it's not illegal to have large, in your face cracks all over your glass, which probably obstruct your view way more than the dice!
I would suggest no-go on the dice.

I wouldn't say guys don't wear skinny jeans. I see plenty of dudes rockin them. I wear semi skinny jeans.... more like fitted jeans. But I agree that they look way better than baggyass frumpy jeans. Those are for high school, not the real world.
