What would be the best monitor for a Mac under $500?
  HP 2711x
This is the one I would also suggest. The picture quality is amazing with outstanding colors, sharp detail, and sturdy build. I have graphic designer buddies who use it and can't stop talking about it. The price stands out as well. Even the Apple monitor is 4 times the price of this display and this one looks as good if not better.

What's the best monitor for a Mac under $250?
  Viewsonic VX2453MH-LED
This one is compatible with both PC and Mac and the picture is outstanding. 1080p resolution, ultra thin, and good connectivity options. It doesn't have amazing viewing angles but as long as you're in front of it, there shouldn't be any problems. All in all, it's a great value.

What headphones have the best bass under $100?
  Sony MDR-XB500
You'll like these. Deep, rich bass and crisp mids and high tones. Sound isn't the most accurate because of the intense bass but the cups are very comfortable and very light. Perfect for any type of use.

What headphones have the best bass?
  Sennheiser RS 170
These are pretty sweet. Not only do they have a bass boost for increased bass for movies, music, and games, but they have a surround sound feature and are completely wireless. You can get a lot of use out of them and still get the killer sound you really want.

Will you buy Halo 4?
Actually, I'm kind of burned out. I loved 1 and 2...even 3 was decent but I've sort of moved on. Guess I'm not the die hard I used to be. The video does make it look pretty sweet, though. Man, now I'm conflicted!

What is your preference of gaming mouse under $75?
  Logitech MX 518
I don't own this one yet but am considering it. It has gotten great reviews from other users. Buttons and controls are customizable, little to no friction, and very accurate. The contoured grip looks like it would be pretty comfortable. I've heard from some people that the unit makes them feel like giants but to me that would be a bonus and allow me more control.

What is the best current generation local multiplayer game to play with friends?
  Portal 2
What about Portal 2? My wife and I enjoy playing this together. It's funny to look over at her face when we are facing a puzzle that neither of us can figure. Kind of nice to brainstorm together and get the job done. One of the more fun one's.

iPhone or Xperia?
I like iPhone but I use a lot of Apple products in my home so it suits my purposes better that's not to say another phone wouldn't be better or faster, however. I wouldn't recommend the Xperia for that very reason...there is a lot that is faster and performs better. Keep searching. Who is your carrier?

Thoughts on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
It's a pretty good game, actually. I love the options available to you. You can be daring and dangerous or violent, you can be stealthy, you can go through vents, you can stack or move boxes, etc. Almost anything is possible with very limited rules. The game has a life of its own which makes it very fun and unpredictable.

What will the result be of me getting an extra 2GB of ram?
You might see a slight increase in speed and you might also be able to run more applications/programs but depending on what you're using it for 6GB is pretty good. What are you trying to accomplish with the bump?

What are the very best earbuds in terms of quality and sound under $100?
  Bose IE2
I generally use Skullcandy for most of my listening. I like the bass levels but if you're looking for overall quality and sound and have this type of price range I might suggest the Bose. They are a really great product. I have a buddy who I have borrowed them from and was really blown away by how well they performed. They are light, compact, comfortable, and stylish. I love the unique ear bud design. It's different but certainly effective. The sound from these appears to be louder than others I've used before so the volume on my device gets turned down very low. I love the levels and the bass really makes an impact. They are a great set and well worth the price. They just haven't been in my price range lately so that I could get them myself!

What are the best sounding headphones I can get that include a mic under $60?
  Skullcandy S2FFFM-063
I love my Skullcandy earbuds. They have the best sounding bass and clear sound. Anytime I lose a set or break one I always go back. They're the best I've ever owned. While I've not owned a pair with a mic I thought maybe these would work. Great quality sound of a Skull candy with 1 click to answer a call or end it. They come with different sized ear pieces so you can choose the best fit. They are very comfortable and come in a variety of different colors so you can pick what you might like best.

Sony Alpha DSLR-A550 14.2MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)
This might help you out. This Sony really performs well under many conditions. It's designed for everyday shooting but is fast and functional. This camera will provide excellent images in low light situations and it offers features such as face detection, smile shutter, and a manual focus that will be great for portraits or action shots. I think you'll like using it at your reunion or anywhere else you might venture to go.

What kind of camera can I get for traveling under $200?
Canon PowerShot SD1400IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle ...
This camera is light and ultra slim. It will fit nicely in your pant or coat pockets so that you won't have to worry about losing it along the way. My wife's favorite feature is the wink self-timer so that her self portraits of her and her friends turn out well. 14 MP image sensor, a 4x zoom with image stabilization the smart auto function for scene detection, and i-contrast for your best exposure. This camera also shoots well in any type of lighting. Also features HD 720p video. A feature that can be fun to add is an underwater case for travel at the beach or underwater scenes. Also comes in a few different colors. Purchased the hot pink one for my wife. It's actually pretty cool looking. It's a great investment for a really good price.

Planning a trip to Europe, what's a good camera for travel under $1,000?
Canon PowerShot S95 10 MP Digital Camera with 3.8x Wide Angle Optic...
I prefer a compact camera when I travel but definitely want the best picture quality possible. This camera is refreshing in that the pictures it creates are outstanding and yet it's light and small enough to put in my pocket as I explore my surroundings. It has a fast f/2.0 lens and 10 megapixels with an easy to customize menu and control options. The f/2.0 lens will provide shallow depth of field and is great for low light conditions. This camera can also capture HD video. Nicest looking compact camera, in my opinion, and a great travel companion.

What camera can I get for best overall use?
Canon PowerShot SD4500IS 10 MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Imag...
When I consider what might be good for overall use I imagine something that I can take anywhere so I can use it for anything, anytime. This camera has a nice design, it's fast, and it's slim. This is a camera that doesn't need a tripod and shoots outstanding in low light situations. It has 10 MP, a DIGIC 4 processor and a 10x zoom with image stabilization. It also has a night mode that allows you to take multiple pictures at once at which time you can grab the best one. For action shots you can select continuous mode and the camera will take as many pictures as the camera will allow. Comes in handy for sporting events. Camera also features a smart scene detection allowing for the best exposure possible. The flash exposure feature does something similar communicating with the camera when your scenery has enough light also providing the best exposure. The HD video capability is also brilliant. You can zoom while shooting, there is stereo sound, image stabilization, and the ability to shoot in slow motion. This camera has it all. It's jam packed with features but costs next to nothing.

best dslr camera for street life under $700?
Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55m...
This would be a great camera for capturing images out and about in your town/city. It comes with a great image stabilization kit that helps keeps your images sharp. It also has good high ISO performance and quality that will really help with low light shooting. Build quality feels solid but the weight still feels relatively light. You'll love the look and feel of this camera as well as the pictures it provides.

best camera for beginners
Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera Body
This can be a pretty tough question. The best camera for beginners really comes down to price point and/or features but I think that the D3100 is the best entry level DSLR available right now. It has a lot of features and great picture quality, both of which would be most important to me if I were just getting started. It offers full HD recording and terrific noise control. It's a good camera to get into that offers some room to grow into as well. The only thing I can't say is great is that i doesn't have an external microphone input but that may not be an issue for everyone.

best camera under $150?
Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS 12 MP CMOS Digital Camera with Full 108...
This one is just a few dollars over your proposed budget. Images are brilliant and very detailed with full HD video. There are a slew of features jam packed in this little camera and the price shows the significant value. It has an auto Smart system that automatically selects the scene mode based on your environment. The camera is light and thin and very handsome. It also shoots great pictures in low light settings so you won't have to worry anymore about dark exposures. It's a great camera.

best camera under $100?
Canon PowerShot A495 10.0 MP Digital Camera with 3.3x Optical Zoom ...
This is a good entry level camera that works really well for taking photos outdoors. It doesn't have great shutter speed so some moments can be lost but the price is great for the quality. The design itself is very sharp and it's available in a variety of colors.
