Team Fortress 2 is very, very good. But if you enjoy Team Fortress 2, you should have a look at Super Monday Night Combat. It is basically Monday Night Combat, but more characters, different maps and, well, free!

Should I purchase ME and ME2 in anticipation for ME3?
If you have not played them, go for it. In my opinion, ME2 is very fun and has an immense stroyline.
