Advice for the best high performance countertop blender for juicing?
  Blendtec Total Blender TB-621-20
This is a very expensive but very high performance blender. Blendtec is renowned for their awesome blenders... this thing can blend up just about anything.
It's a commercial quality 1,560-watt machine. I mean need I say more? All the power you will ever need. The 2 prong stainless steel blade is guaranteed to crush ice, so it will certainly have no problems with juicing.
According to Blendtec, "It’s an all-in-one appliance that makes smoothies, fresh juice, ice cream, milkshakes, cappuccinos, margaritas, soups, sauces, breads, dressings, salsas, and more."
And according to al the reviews it does what it claims, and does it well!

Advice for the best 2 speed countertop blender for smoothies?
  Waring Professional Bar PBB204
I like this option. The design is very cool and retro. It would look great in my kitchen! Maybe yours, too? But yeah it has two speeds, and is supposedly great for smoothies. It has enough OOMPH to get through ice and frozen fruit and stuff. It has a serious, solid build, and 390 w motor with a 5 year warranty, so you should be in good hands!

What's the Fastest black and white laser printer for printing photos?
  Samsung ML-1865W
This Samsung seems to have what you are looking for at a reasonable price. It can do 19 ppm at up to 1,200 x 1,200 dots per inch, which will give you pretty darn nice photo prints for a laser printer.
It has wireless capabilities, too.... all this for under $120. Pretty great deal.

4800 x 12000 DPI on max settings, wireless photo printer that also scans and copies.
For under $100 you won't find anything too much better, although I am sure there are other great options out there.
I like Canon products in general, and when it comes to photography needs they are always a good option. Lots of printing capabilities for under $100 here.

What is the best tablet for a college student under $500?
  Samsung Galaxy Tab
I want to recommend Samsung's Galaxy Tab for you, I think it will be a great college companion. I will say right off the bat that to get the most use out of it you should probably also purchase a case/keyboard combo, that way you can take notes on a real keyboard as opposed to a touchscreen keyboard, which can be difficult to type on.
These have good specs, actually compares to iPad, and this one has 16gb memory. Has a really nice 10.1" WXGA (1280x800) display, too.
It's also compatible with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files, plus more, so it should prove to be a very useful tool for you.

What is the least I could spend to get a decent gaming laptop?
Here's a good deal for you. There are cheaper options, but I don't even know if it would be worth your money to buy anything much cheaper than this, because it wouldn't run games all that well. This one has Nvidia graphics on board and a 15.6-Inch screen with 1920x1080 resolution, so you know it will look pretty. You are also looking at a 2.2 GHz Intel processor, 6 GB DIMM, and a 750 GB 7200 rpm hard drive. Pretty great for the price!

I think this would be a nice option for you. I don't know what specifically your needs are, so I tried to suggest something that is super versatile and an all around performer.
This monitor from Asus has really nice image quality, with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 98% color reproduction of Adobe RGB.
For versatility it can pivot and be viewed vertically, has a 7-in-1 Card Reader, a whole list of video features (check out the link), and more.
Great all around high quality monitor for a reasonable price!

Apple TV.... good product? Worth the price?
I use apple tv, so I'll give you my 2 cents.
Overall I like it quite a bit. I am the same as you in that I don't enjoy cable - way too much crap that I never watch, and commercials bug the hell out of me. I like that it's just a one time fee, and then you just have to have a netflix account to get almost unlimited content streamed right on to your TV. Very cool. I like netflix and can usually find something great to watch. You can also watch Youtube and a whole host of other NBA channels and stuff, some of which you have to pay for. I also like that you can rate your favorite programs and netflix will make suggestions for you depending on your taste.
Now, my one complaint: even when all of my updates are up to date my programs will get interrupted at least once per viewing session with the following message: Netflix Is Currently Unavailable, Please Try Again Later. This is pretty annoying, but luckily it doesn't happen too often.
Overall I give Apple TV an A- and definitely suggest it as a cable alternative.

I think with headshots in particular a lot of pressure is put on the photographer, not the equipment, and almost no matter what camera you have you can get a good shot if you know a thing or two about lighting and framing the shot... and capturing the subject for who they are.
This nikon is certainly among the best in the industry, and you will be able to get some beautiful shots with it. Very popular amongst photographers of all styles.

Best optical mouse for everyday use under $50?
  Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 - Green/Gold (910-002699)
I'll definitely agree with Danijel on this one. Logitech would be the way to go. They make a solid product. For everyday use I think you would be happy with a really simple wireless mouse. Wireless isn't way better or worse than wired (at least for every day use) so that's not really the reason I'm recommending it. It's just a simple, high quality mouse in your price range... and it happes to be wireless. Also, I think it looks neat. Definitely a good choice.

What tablet has the best battery life?
  ASUS Transformer Prime TF201-B1-GR
Here's why you need an Eee Pad: the tablet itself gets around 9 hours battery life (among the best in the tablet world) but if you add the optional keyboard it adds 8 HOURS to the pre-existing 9, so we're up around 17 hours!! Ridiculous. As far as I'm aware, Eee Pad has the best battery life available in a tablet, at least when the optional keyboard is attached. I know you don't want the extra bulk, but when the keyboard is attached it hardly adds any weight or size, and when it's attached it's all one unit and you don't have to worry about separate pieces of hardware.
17 hours is a LOT of battery life :)

best tablet to buy?
  Apple iPad 3 MC705LL/A
I have to say, this is my fave tablet around. iPad 2 is so easy to use, has beautiful resolution, is fast, as heck, has a bajillion apps (actually I think it's like 75,000 or something) to choose from, and in general does everything I could ever hope for in a tablet.
It has a nice big 9.7-inch LED-backlit widescreen display. It has Apple's 1 GHz dual-core Apple A5 custom-designed processor, which is very fast (especially considering it's only 1 GHz). It also has high quality cameras, both front and rear facing.
Physically, it's comfortable and extremely thin and light. Easy to hold onto.
Operation is so easy, a 3 year old could figure out how to navigate this thing yet it can do some very complicated tasks.
One nice thing between iPad 1 and 2 is that Apple doubled the RAM in the iPad 2 from 256MB to 512MB. Very nice, Apple!
Oh and one more thing that iPad absolutely excels at is battery life. You will get like 10 hours out of this thing, no joke. You also have to charge it for a very long time, but just remember to do it as you sleep and it's no problem.
All in all, I am a VERY satisfied iPad 2 owner and I just don't see how anyone could be disappointed with it!

Are ATH-M50 Headphones good
Yes! Awesome headphones, I mean these are very high quality and they are used in recording studios and stuff. You won't be disappointed!...... as long as you don't mind dropping $150 on them.
That being said, if you are just a "normal guy" who might not have audiophile ears, it might be a bit overkill. I don't think you would be able to tell the difference between these and, say, the Sony Studio Monitor MDR-V600 Stereo Headphone, which are half the price of the ATs, and arguably just as good.

What HDTV (plasma) has the best energy rating?
  LG 42LK520
Brian is right... gotta go LED if you want real energy savings. However, if you're set on plasma there are some decent options for you. I think most LGs are Energy Star certified, including this model here. Being Energy Star Certified means a product saves energy both in standby and active modes. Energy Star–qualified TVs use about 30% less energy than standard units.
So yeah, it's okay, but LED is better!

What is the best tablet for business presentations?
  ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-B1
I think this is a really cool business tool, assuming you purchase the detachable keyboard as well. With that keyboard, it's basically a laptop that you can take the screen off of. Obviously you can purchase a keyboard to go with your iPad, too, but the Eee Pad can resembles a laptop so closely, that it's almost like you're getting 2 machines in one... a laptop and a tablet. It has a nice big 10" screen and is available in 16 or 32 gb. It will be equally adept for presentations as the iPad... just a non-mac suggestion for ya.

What is a good gaming televison?
  Vizio XVT323SV
This would be a great entry level flatscreen for you. The main thing I think you need to look for is something with a fairly high refresh rate. Refresh rate is how many times per second the image is "redrawn" on the screen, and is expressed in Hz. This one is 120Hz, which is pretty good. If your refresh rate is too low, anything moving quickly on screen will look blurry (same with watching sports on TV... fast action will look blurry if the refresh rate is too low. But 120Hz should suffice.
As for the image quality, you're looking at a full HD display, 1080p, LCD screen. Very nice! I have a Vizio myself and I like it a lot.
I don't know how much you want to spend.... that might help narrow down the search, because there are a lot of options out there!

What is the best TV for watching movies under $750?
  LG 42LK520
If your main concern is watching movies I think you need to focus on great picture quality first, size second (I like huge TV's for movies, personally) audio third, and other features last.
For picture quality this LG will totally deliver. The full HD 1080p display will give you very sharp images and bright colors. The contrast ratio of 150,000:1will provide deep blacks and brilliant colors. It also has TruMotion 120Hz technology, which just means the refresh rate is 120Hz, which is plenty fast for movie watchin.
Next on the list: size. This is very important! But it is second to image quality because a large picture with bad picture quality is just annoying. But the size is pretty good. Obviously there are bigger TV's out there, but it's a good merging of picture quality and size (at this price point) that will yield a great viewing experience.
So for audio I think yo will be in pretty good shape with the built in speakers.... they seem to be about average. However, there is an optical audio output to connect to your home theater, which is preferable anyways.
There are some features on here that are pretty cool, however bear in mind that it is not a "smart" tv, so it doesn't come internet ready. But let's see, it is Energy Star rated, which will help with electric bills. It has what they call "Intelligent Sensor" which reads the lighting conditions of the room you're in to provide the best possible viewing experience... you will appreciate this when you're trying to watch a horror movie in the middle of the day, which can be a frustrating experience!
Movies are going to look great on here for sure!

What is the best TV for watching movies under $400?
  Panasonic VIERA TC-L32C3
I like this option for the price point. 32" is a decent size for watching movies. It's 720p, and to me the difference between 720 and 1080 is barely even noticeable. We have one of each actually, the 720 on a 32" Vizio in my bedroom. I can't see a difference between that and the 1080p in the den. The flat panel screen should have a nice wide viewing angle so everyone can see what's going on equally well.
Another thing you would want for watching movies is a decent audio setup. This has some decent built-in speakers and also a 5.1 channel digital audio output, so you can hook up that surround sound.

What is the best camera for landscape photography under $1000?
  Nikon D3100 14.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S D...
For landscape photography we can definitely say that a great wide angle lens if significant importance. I say buy this nicely priced Nikon, and use the remaining in your budget to buy an awesome wide-angle lens. I would suggest something like the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X Pro DX AF... it's right around $500 so that will only set you slightly over your budget of $1000.
The wide angle is very important for a good landscape shot because it sucks you right into the scene. When you're in nature and taking it in with your eyes it's a wide angle experience, so the same idea would apply to getting a good photo.
By the way, it already comes with a a zoom lens, so you'll be ready to start shooting right away.
Of course a wide angle lens would be useless without the proper camera to attach it to to process the images. The D3100 is a a great camera. It has a 14.2-megapixel DX-format CMOS image sensor, image stabilisation, HD video, and a wide ISO, from 100-3200 (expandable to 12800). Its D700 sensor enables high ISO settings with little to no noise.
It has automatic scene detection (or you can manually adjust) and no shutter delay. It can take up to 6 pictures per second.
All really impressive stuff. Definitely a good choice for you!!

What is the best laptop for audio editing under $2500?
Apple MacBook Pro MD311LL/A (Late 2011)
I say if you can afford one, get one.
It's as well equipped as anything on the market I would say. It's got an i7 processor which is fast. Very fast. Transferring and opening files will be very quick, and with large music files speed will be much appreciated.
A large screen will also be an important thing to consider, as audio editing is a very precise art form. Too small of a screen will definitely slow you down.
It has a 750 gb serial ATA hard drive and 4 gb of installed RAM.
Another important thing is it has three USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire 800 port, and an expresscard/34 slot.
This is always a good choice if you ask me. Quality machines that last.

What is the best laptop for video editing under $2000?
  Sony Vaio VPC-F Series
This is a pretty awesome machine, I think it would do you quite well, with the only drawback possibly being screen size....16.4 inches. That's pretty large, but there are bigger screens out there. The good thing is that it's quite portable, which is sort of the point of having a laptop anyway!
It's got a huge 1 TB hard drive and an Intel i7 processor at 2.5 GHz... with Turbo Boost you're up to 3.6 GHz! It gonna load your video files before you even click on them. Also has 8 gb RAM.
It's a good investment in your future because you will be ahead of the game for a bit!

What is the best laptop for business under $1500?
  Lenovo ThinkPad W520 427637U
I've really been stewin' over this one for a while, Jimmy. There are so many close competitors, and I feel like I could recommend so many laptops based on their different features. But I think this may be the best all around laptop for business, because it has the best combination of important features.
Important features like computing power. Complete with a 500 gb hard drive, 8 gb DDR3, and an Intel i7 quad core processor, things like speed and power won't be an issue.
I am assuming you travel a bit, and that is why you need a laptop? I think it is equally important to consider its travel readiness as its internal specs, because what use is the computer if your battery is dead? Or you can't access the internet?
Lucky for you, this thing is WWAN capable and has integrated blue tooth wireless. It also has a Lithium Ion 9 cell battery which will give you some good battery life.
These things are built quite solidly, but, as with any laptop, its longevity will depend directly on how well you take care of it! i.e. get a nice case.
Another thing you might find useful as an assumed business traveller is its express card slot & 4 in 1 card reader. Definitely useful for info. on the go.
I think this is a great junction of price, power, and travel readiness.

Dell Ultra Sharp is an excellent choice for photo/video editing. Proper calibration will yield extremely accurate color representations, which is of course very important in this field.
Also, it uses In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology... definitely the type best suited for image editing.
I would say in this price range this is about the best thing you will find.
It's got high resolution, a nice wide screen, and excellent image quality. This will be a good one for sure!

What is the best kitchen knife sharpener?
J.A. Henckels 9-Inch Poly Sharpening Steel
I say a completely manual knife sharpener is the only way to go, in just about every way.
In my experience electric knife sharpeners (and the type where you pass the knife through it) can do as much damage as good. The angle of the sharpening mechanism on these devices is fixed, so 'sharpening' can completely change the angle of the blade, actually dulling and damaging it. They are often made of ceramic or coarse carbide which can seriously damage a blade. This is not to say they are ineffective with all knives, but they are not compatible with all knives either.
Having a decent (and varied) knife collection, I prefer having control of how I sharpen my knives so as not to damage them.
This thing is extremely simple to use, and once you get the hang of it it's as easy (if not easier) than any electric sharpener. Definitely recommended!

I'm looking for a nice chess set for my dad, suggestions under $100?
  Ambassador Chess Set and Board
This is a beautiful chess set that I purchased a couple years back. My husband and I are so happy with it and have actually played quite a few games, although we're still not that good! Chess is so complex.
Anyways, the board is very nice looking and the detail on the pieces is quite spectacular...it all looks hand made, although I am not sure if it is.
The one common complaint with this set is that the pieces, while beautiful, are very light. If they were weighted they would feel much nicer. But oh well, you can't win 'em all, right?
Other than that, very happy with it.

What is the best 3 wheeled stroller?
Joovy Zoom 360 Jogging Stroller, Black
I don't know if you are partial to jogging (you can tell I am in my get.com picture!) but if you like to really move when you're strollin' I would definitely recommend this 3 wheeler. It's really big and sturdy...actually quite big... check out the measurements before purchasing, because some people might find it overwhelming. It's actually designed to hold up to 75 lbs, if that gives you an idea of the size.
But for me it is perfect. It folds up for storage in my small house. It's solidly built and has large tires so you won't be getting tripped up on anything.
If you don't jog with your baby I highly recommend it! It's a fun bonding time and it's really good for you!

Hey there,
I have been using this case for toting my macbook pro, 13.3" around town and also for very occasional air travel. I think it will fit your computer, too.
I like it a lot because it is very well padded, has ample room for my computer, charger, and various other items I may need to take along, and I like that it's a messenger bag because it makes taking it along very easy. I take it with me when I ride my bike as well as walking, and it's so light you can hardly even tell it's there.

Car wax...left on.
There's no problem with leaving the wax on, but there's also no point in putting it on in the first place if you're not going to buff it. Buffing it sort of activates the wax and makes it shine. It will also make it bond better with your paint.
It's like putting shoe polish on your shoe and not rubbing it in... it just looks bad.

What is the best sleep training clock?
My Tot Clock: Helping Small Children Sleep Better...So Parents Can ...
Funny you should mention MyTot Clock because I was just looking into getting one for myself. I did my usual internet research routine.... read as many reviews as possible from various websites... and I think this seems like the best one, based on specs and reviews.
It's an incredibly simple system, that, if used correctly, can transform your child's sleeping habits. So, you set the clock next to your Tot's bed. You set the time you wish for them to wake up. The clock will stay blue (night mode) until it's time to wake up. Then it changes to yellow. That's it! So easy. Almost too easy, but I guess it really works.
You just have to convince your little ones to follow the rules of the clock.
It also has a red mode for timeouts, and plays some sort of music, too.
Just so you know, it's pretty tall, at about 9".
Seems like a nice purchase. I think I'm gonna go for it....

What is the best outdoor survival tool?
United Cutlery Bush Master Survival Knife
This is a pretty awesome knife I bought for my husband, but there are some inherent problems with it.
The blade is really big, and is sharp enough. It's not fastened very well to the handle, so it's not useful for heavy duty chopping like big branches.
I still think it would be very useful if you were lost in the woods or whatever because you could certainly hun with it and also you could whittle sticks with it, if need be. Just hypothesizing here.
It also comes with lots of other useful things in the handle and sheath. It's a good thing to have around, that's for sure.

Mr. Kors makes some beautiful watches! This one is no exception. Everyone has one of his gold watches (I see like 10 a day) but this one is a stand out.

a very nice system, if you enjoy streaming your itunes library via bluetooth. i like it because i can still use my ipad when it's playing, in my hands, and do what ever i want.
i charge the thing almost every night in my bedroom, so i didn't need a charging dock, just one that sounds good. this one sounds great! fills up a room, no problem. i don't notice any degradation in sound quality.
the bluetooth is easy to set up, and you will be enjoying the sweet sounds of this system within minutes.

What is the best way to display an American flag at my home?
Valley Forge In-Ground United States Flag Kit, containing 20-Foot A...
This is a pretty large flag pole, and it's best installed with cement at the base. It looks wonderful and it proudly presents a large, 3X5 American flag beautifully.
The fact that it is so big is also a draw back to its own design. In strong winds I believe the aluminum pole may bend a bit because it's not entirely sturdy all the time. In stronger winds, I can see a little play in the aluminum.
Nothing has been violent enough to bend it yet, and if you live in a low wind area you should be fine.

Sherwin Williams has a line of zero VOC, latex paint for indoors. It is completely non-toxic and is high quality Sherwin Williams paint.
If I remember correctly from when I purchased it, they only offer it in a few colors like eggshell and flat, as well as a primer.
Definitely a good investment!!! Toxic paints can 'leak' toxins into the air in your house for literally YEARS after you paint with it, greatly diminishing the air quality in your home. Especially bad for youngsters.

  Blokus Classics Game
this is a REALLY cool game for all ages!!!!! it's awesome I just played it for the first time the other day actually. you have to get rid of all your tiles by placing them on the board when it's your turn. the catch is you can only place down a tile if it touches the corner of another one of your tiles, so it gets difficult and you have to plan ahead to outsmart your opponents.
sounds easy but with 3 other players filing up the board it gets real difficult real fast... you better plan ahead!!!!

Is Dyson any good? what is the best Dyson?
Dyson DC25 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner
I assume you are talking about their vacuums? I was sold when I saw this on the commercials, so I had to buy one....I'll tell you about it....
It's awesome! Expensive but awesome. Glides around my floor as easily as it looks in the commercial. It's rather light, and at only 12 pounds (or around there) I have no problem taking it up stairs to do the second floor bedrooms and stuff.
You have to assemble it but it's very easy.
As far as its vacuuming abilities it is as good if not better than my Oreck I used to have, and I was very pleased with that one, too. Certainly doesn't leave anything behind.
No bags are needed. Also doesn't seem to stir up very much dust.
As far as cons the only I can think of is the cord is a little short and it doesn't lay all the way flat, because of the ball.
I think it is worth the money. You get what you pay for!

What is the best home air purifier?
Honeywell 50250 99.97% Pure HEPA Round Air Purifier
This is a hell of an air purifier that will scrub the air in your room till there's nothing but clean fresh air for you to enjoy. It works very well and I have to say I have noticed a big difference with my allergies, which usually get really bad this time of year. My symptoms are greatly reduced since I bought this.
Now, the downside is that it is big and loud, and only for people that are SERIOUS about air purification! It takes up a lot of space and makes a decent amount of noise. It's a big machine (you can tell by looking at it) so understand what you are getting into.
Also, you do have to change the filter on this sucker, so be ready for a little maintenance. If you really want some serious purification, this is your guy!

It's a soft twill material that's thick but not overly heavy. You can wear it like a long sleeve button up over your undershirt, but it will keep you warm like a light jacket! My husband loooooves this and wears it all winter long.... he's one of those weirdos that braves the chilling temps way underdressed because he thinks it's 'all in your head'....yeah right.

Should I invest in moisture-wicking running/athletic clothes?
I like the gear WAY more than regular clothes. Moisture wicking works pretty well. Pulls the sweat away from your skin, making the run much more enjoyable if you sweat at all.
I would agree with Ryan that it's only necessary for longer distances. I would say if you're only doing a couple of miles expensive gear is unnecessary, however on long runs it can be useful.

I do like splenda a lot and think it's very close to the taste of real sugar. I recommend it to you as a sugar substitute, but don't be fooled by their false advertising! There are plenty of carbs in this stuff!
Being that the sweetener in this stuff is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar, they have to cut it with something to make it less concentrated, so they use maltodextrin, which equals carbs....a lot.
but like i said i like it because it is a close substitute, 1000 times better than equal, that's for sure. no funny tastes like with other artificial sweeteners.
just use in moderation, like everything else in this world.

What are the best whole coffee beans?
Cameron's Organic French Roast Whole Bean Coffee, 32-Ounce Bag
I was spoiled growing up in a town with an AMAZING local coffee shop. Their french roast still to this day is the best roast I've ever had... and when I moved town I realized the harsh reality that they don't ship their coffee! So I reserve it for special occasions when I go home.
Then I was introduced to this one and now it is a very close second! Finally! Something that compares to Macy's! (not the department store)
A very high quality, full flavored french roast. AND it's organic! Makes me like it even more.
I highly suggest this to anyone serious about their coffee. It's big and full and delicious.

What is the best apple charging station under $100?
iHome IB969G Charging Station for iPad, iPod, iPhone, BlackBerrys a...
I am going to recommend this to you because overall it works pretty well, however it certainly has its shortcomings.
I like that you can charge all these different devices on one unit. It's great to keep on my desk and have a place where ALL of my apple products can hang out together, charge together, and not get lost. I also like that I can use the iPad as it's charging.
What I don't like is, first of all, it feels kind of cheaply made. Not heavy enough to feel very substantial. Also, it doesn't come with the proper cord to charge the iPad, so you end up having to use the white apple cord. This is okay, but I was going for the whole 'cord-free' look here. That's what I wanted, at least. Now I have to wind up the power cord and hide it behind the dock.
Also, it won't sync all my devices together. I thought it would for some reason, and was a little disappointed when that wasn't an option. Oh well... over all it's pretty nice and, hey, it charges my stuff so I can't complain too much!

What is the best hybrid bicycle for a female under $250?
Jeep Compass Woman's Hybrid Bike (700c Wheels, 16-Inch Frame)
This is gonna be a pretty nice bike for you. It has some small issues, but really this is to be expected at this price, especially for a bike being shipped through the mail!
Really the only issues I ran into with mine was the assembly, as other reviewers have also noted. The instructions are terrible, and you will need some of your own tools like a wrench and an allan wrench. The instructions just severely lack in clarity, and I actually had to make a phone call to the company to ask for help on the assembly, because the handle bars didn't seem to fit into the bike.
Now that I have it up and running (it wasn't TOO painful...) I am very happy with the bike. It is easy to ride, smooth sailing. Gears shift pretty well and it's the right size for me, at 5'7". It's lightweight, making it easier to maneuver and deal with in general.
Great bargain bike. Don't expect anything spectacular, but it will get the job done.

This lotion is amazing for oily/acne prone skin. Helps to prevent breakouts when you can tell they're about to happen. Gotta have a lotion like this for after the shower or after your acne treatment, as your skin my feel dried out.
Feels good and reduces pore size. Leaves my skin feeling soft and healthy. Natural acids (a very small amount, don't worry) help keep oils at bay.
It's a little pricier of a product, but it's not too bad, and you get wonderful results!
Any product that effectively deals with my oily skin is worth a lot of $$$ to me, so I don't mind paying it!
Really works well. Try it and see for yourself

What's a good running shoe that won't fall apart?
  New Balance Men's MR993 Running Shoe,Grey,11 D
This shoe is wonderful and would be perfect for you! They have truly mixed comfort and durability to come up with a great runner. This thing is very lightweight and the DuPont Engage midsole adds the toughness you need. They also have added their Ndurance outsole to this one, bringing its durability to a new level.
You can tell right away when you hold this shoe in your hand that it's solid and going to last... you can also tell right away how incredibly lightweight it is.
The only issue you may run into with this one is that the little bit of rubber sole that curves around the front of the toe could potentially undo itself and peel off a little bit....as many shoes tend to do over time.

What are the best neons for my car?
LEDGLOW Blue LED Slimline Underbody Underglow Kit
If you're going for the full undercarriage light up trick, these will do nicely. They're not neon, but LED is a better way to go, especially on the undercarriage. Very bright and very cool.
I installed them with my husband and it went pretty smoothly.... pretty straightforward I would say. Took a few hours because we're not pros.
The hardest parts were finding the right place to mount them and hiding the wiring. Some of the hardware they give you is kind of crappy, so replace it better stuff at your own discretion... I especially recommend getting your own wire tie because the ones they supply are garbage.
But in general we are very happy with these! Obviously they're not the most expensive, high tech lights in the world, but you can't tell when they're on and it's all lit up!
They look sweet.

What is the best men's golf hat?
Nike One Victory Red 2010 Preforated Golf Cap Hat New Latest Black
I would definitely suggest your basic baseball-style cap. This one is amazing for golf because obviously the visor blocks sun well, but also most of the cap (besides the visor) is a mesh material that breathes very well indeed, keeping your hot head ventilated on those hot summer days. The whole hat is made of a soft, light material that doesn't get in your way at all.
Only draw back? I wish it was white, for sun reflection reasons.

What's the best cleaner for dirt and bugs on my car?
Turtle Wax T-520A Bug and Tar Remover Trigger - 16 oz.
very powerful cleaner! definitely takes care of mud, insects and tar. let it soak in for a minute and add some elbow grease. your car will clean right up.
now, if it's gunk that's been there for years and years, it might not be as effective, because some of that stuff gets ingrained into your panel if not dealt with relatively quickly.
powerful stuff, though. works great for me.

What is the best dent puller for my car door?
Dent Out Cross Bar Ding Repair Kit
I have sort of mixed feelings about this product! On one hand it pulls out round dents really well, and relatively quickly, too. So that part I love.
On the other hand, it leaves this awful gluey mess on the door panel... gross. Now I have to clean that in addition to pulling the dent!
But it does do the job really well, and for that reason I recommend it to you!

What is the best eyeglass lens cleaning cloth?
Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cloths Wipes 200c
These are a wonderful product for lens cleaning. I know you asked for a lens cleaning cloth, but with that you will also need some sort of lens cleaning solution, and then you have to find a place to store both things together so you always know where they are, and also you won't be able to take it with you on vacation or to work or anything (you can tell I've given this a lot of thought, huh?).
So, I strongly suggest these. I recently made the switch to lens cleaning wipes and haven't looked back. They are so incredibly convenient and always on hand because they are each individually wrapped in a foil lined package. I have some at home, some in the car, and some in my purse.
They work very well and don't leave any streaks. They are also great for other cleaning situations, like computer screens, or basically anything glass that needs to be cleaned.
Make sure to follow the directions and blow off any dust or debris that may be hanging out on your lens, otherwise it's possible to wipe the debris right into the lens, which would be bad.

What is the best leather biker jacket under $150?
Harley-Davidson® Men's Reflective Skull Leather Jacket. Reflective...
I think this is the sweetest biker jacket ever... a bit out of your price range, though. It's made by HD, so you know it's a solid jacket, right off the bat. It's only I would say a medium heavy jacket, so keep that in mind. It won't offer you full protection, per say, but if you add a little armor underneath you should be in good shape. Basically you get a lot of jacket for a reasonable price.
Lots of vents to keep you cool while you ride, too.
The coolest part is the subtle yet badass embroidery on the back. It's a black on black design, with Harley Davidson and a skull on there, and it's reflective! Very reflective, at that... a great safety feature.
I like that the logo on the back is so subtle, because it makes this jacket okay to wear around town a little bit, too. There's no offensive or ridiculous logo to offend everyone.
Anyways, my husband has been wearing this jacket for the past year (ish) and is very pleased with it. You will be, too.

What is the best car seat for a two year old under $150?
Britax Marathon 70 Convertible Car Seat, Onyx
This is just another brilliant product from a great company. All around, Britax makes a noteworthy car seat that looks and feels high quality right out of the box.
Don't ever skimp on quality when it comes to your child's safety. Spend the extra money and be sure you will have a great product for situations when it matters most.
This is a slightly larger model than mine, as they have upgraded to a new 70 lb limit. I'm sure the seat equally as good if not better than the one I have.
It is very easy to install - follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in minutes.
The all around protection and padding is what really impressed me the most. It looks very comfortable and VERY safe.I wish they made them for adults.
It has the five point buckle which is very secure and also easy to figure out.
My child enjoys sitting in it and I enjoy the piece of mind.

Is a tire cover for my spare on the back of my Wrangler even necessary?
I don't think it even depends on the climate you live in.... you should always have one regardless. If it rains all the time you definitely need one for rust protection. If It's hot and sunny all the time, you need one for UV protection. If there's snow, you need it for snow protection (which is also rust).
If none of these are an issue, you could probably go sans cover.....and you should let me know where you live because the climate sounds splendid!

What type of watch is best looking?
Whatever you end up getting, just make sure it's water resistant up to at least 25m. I recently got a brand new beautiful gold watch... we're talking only about 4 months ago. It said it was water resistant, but not designed for swimming. Said bathing was ok, though, so sometimes I would wear it in the shower. Well the whole face got totally covered on the inside with fog (about two weeks ago) and won't go away. I have no warranty, so now the watch is useless.
Definitely get something that can handle some water if you plan on wearing it every day.

What are the best articles of clothing for a camp trip?
My one rule for camping is to always always always have a couple extra pairs of wool socks laying around. They are the ultimate camping accessory as far as I'm concerned. Smartwool makes one hell of a warm sock. Warm feet will always make you feel good. Also, if you get a pair wet or just sweat in it them too much, you're gonna need an extra pair.... so 2 or 3 extra is important.

What is the best radar detector under $100?
Cobra iRadar iRAD-100 Radar Detector for iPhone and iPod Touch
No one will even know you have a radar detector with this super sleek iRadar... yes sir they make radar detectors too! This is an amazing idea from the world leader in ingenuity. It makes your iPhone the display for your detector, so it's by far the clearest and most comprehensive radar detector ever. What other radar detector do you know of that has an HD screen?!
Has a whole list of cool features:
shows alert history on your radar map so you can log and keep track of speed checks, connects to iRadar via bluetooth, has a speedometer, voltage meter and compass displayed, as like all apple products it was easy to set up and easy to use.
It's an amazing product but it is the first generation and it does have some flaws of course. It has waaay too short of a power cord, and seems to get a large amount of false alarms, at least for me. Luckily I can turn the volume down on my phone.
Keep up the good work Apple!

What is the best motorcycle goggles under $100?
Mach 3 Airfoil Photochromic Light Adjusting Lenses Foldable Motorcy...
These are very functional glasses that fold up so I can keep them in my purse when I get where I'm going. They almost look like swimming goggles with their sleek, low profile design. They fit my head very well and are quite comfortable. I love that it has air vents and they effectively reduce fog.... none so far for me. The lenses are not only shatterproof and UV protectant, but they are Photochromic, so they change tint with the light. It really works! Amazing technology.... gets much darker in the sun and always adjust automatically with the light. This is so much better than dealing with multiple lenses or multiple pairs of glasses... what a waste of time and energy!
The strap is comfortable and secure them snuggly to my head, while the neoprene padding inside keeps the pressure light and evenly distributed. A+ for design and functionality, and comfort, for that matter.

What is the best motorcycle goggles under $50?
Classic Round Lens Moto Goggles Motorcycle MX Vespa Jeep Motorbike ...
I have to say right of the bat that I'mm only suggesting these half seriously... they're almost more like a joke gift than a real goggle, but they're pretty fun. They do work, and I've ridden with them a number of times. You get some great stares and funny looks. And they are kind of comfortable, but I find myself fidgeting with them an awful lot because I cant seem to get them to fit just right...maybe my head is weirdly shaped.
They do have air vents, so fogging isn't a problem, and the rubber padding around the lenses is pretty comfortable and tough.
The other reason I can only half suggest these is that their field of vision is deplorable, and that's an important safety feature for any rider.
These are good on a country road all by yourself or for a photo shoot, but thats about it. They look awesome on, though, and I still want to get a real pair of these, only more functional.

What is the best first aid kit for my car under $25?
Bell Automotive 22-5-02092-8 Roadside Emergency Kit
Emergencies happen all the time to unsuspecting victims! Don't be caught unprepared! This is a great roadside emergency kit for anyone like me who really believes in being prepared for anything. Traveling in cars is inherently dangerous and you will eventually, at some point in your life time, be in a postion where you wished you had one of these kits!
It is designed specifically for road side emergencies, and includes a flashlight, glowstick, rain poncho, gloves, first aid kit, and jumper cables all packed neatly into a conveniently compact doctor style bag. Perfect to discretely keep in your trunk at all times.
I will say that the jumper cables are kind of cheap, and only 8ft long, but I have used them and they work. Also, the first aid kit is a little understocked (pretty much just bandaids and anti-septic pads) so I had so supplement a little myself... but that was no problem and there was enough room for some gauze pads, antibiotic ointment and some bandages.
All in all a really nice pack that gives you piece of mind on the road....what else could you ask for?

What is the best subwoofer for my car under $500?

Great sound, beautiful, rich lows from a good company. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to thump, bump, slam, and bam harder than anyone else!

What is the best subwoofer for my car under $100?
  Pioneer TS-W303R 12" 4-Ohm Subwoofer
What a great addition to my 4runner! I loooove music and my stock system just wasn't cutting it for me. I've never had a subwoofer in my car before... always associated it with people that listen to rap too loud next to me at the stop light... but I finally decided it was time for an upgrade, and I am so happy I did. This woofer comes with mounting screws and an intall guide, so if you're the type of person that can install stuff like this, I recommend doing it, and saving yourself 100 bucks.
They sound amazing and get really loud.. I mean Steely Dan has never sounded so good! If you got two of these suckers you could blow the windows right out of your car. (not recommended) I do remember reading somewhere online that some people had issues with the wires getting too hot (I don't remember which ones) and being able to smell them burning up. I haven't experience this yet, but I don't 'bump' too loud, so for me these are perfect. Maybe not for someone who wants to play offensively loud music.

What is the best leather cleaner for my car upholstery under $25?
Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner Sin...
This conditioner is just as silky smooth as it sounds.... I want to use it in m hair cuz it smells so good! This stuff is amazing and it feels good to buy it because this company has been family owned and operated since 1968.
It's a heck of a conditioner and smells really good. It softens, moistens, and promotes flexibility in even the toughest, oldest leather. It penetrates deeply with it's powerful, non-toxic formula and even has water repel capabilities.
All this being said, I use this in my house all the time, but have never used it on car upholstery. I would just assume it would work in the same way on all leather materials. It certainly won't damage your upholstery.
I've never found a better leather conditioner. It brings out this deep, luscious shine that tends to wear out over time.
I will say this, though - it does tend to darken leather a little bit. I don't mind this because I think it makes it look new and fresh, but keep that in mind. Maybe try it on something else before committing to your whole back seat!

What is the best portable air compressor for car tires under $300?
400p-rv Automatic Portable Air Compressor Kit.
This is a suggestion for any RV or trailer owners out there. This is designed for you specifically. Anyone who drives an RV knows that you must own one of these if you want to have a successful cross country trip. These vehicles are too massive and there are too many different inflatables and tires and whatnot to not have one. It is a necessity. You can inflate any truck or trailer tire in under 10 minutes, all your atv tires, bike tires, inner tubes, water toys, sorts balls... yeah anything.
It's perfect for RV's because it has an extra long primary and extension hose connection for a total of 60 feet of hose. That's plenty to go all the way around your big vehicle. It operates up to 130 PSI, by the way.
A great buy and a must for any serious RV owner. Definitely a solid design that you will get a lot of use out of.

What is the best portable tire inflator under $100?
  Duracell DPP-300EP Powerpack 300 with Built-in 300-watt Inverter an...
When you buy an item like a portable tire inflator it's usually there as a comfort for those 'just in case' moments you may encounter - I know that's how I am. This is why I decided to buy this little guy instead of just a tire inflator. For about the same price you can get a unit that not only inflates tires (with a 250 PSI air compressor with a 300w inverter) but can also jumpstart your engine and recharge all of your portable electronic devices, not mention power some of them. You can run any 120 volt AC or 12 volt DC device with this thing.
This can seriously do it all, and I am very pleased with my purchase so far. However, keep in mind that is is small and only has so much charge in it. So when I say it can do all of these things, I more or less mean one of them at a time between charges. Like you can't fill up all of your tires and then charge all of your devices and then jump start your car all on one charge...although that would be really cool.
It is really nice to bring camping, which is primarily what we use it for. We can recharge phones, blow up mattresses, and it even comes with a nice little LED light for easy night time use. And it's always nice for my piece of mind to have around, in case any problem should arise. Just make sure you're aways prepared and always have it fully charged!

What is the best motorcycle half helmet under $200?
  HJC FS-3 MATTE BLACK X-SMALL
i actually am recommending the FS-2, but it won't let me upload the pic for some reason. So this is a review for the FS-2!
I love this helmet and use it almost daily on my rides. The look is what drew me to it in the first place. It very attractive to me, especially as far as half helmets go. I like the removable, washable liner because I can make sure it never ever gets stinky. I also like the air vents, and notice a difference compared to similar helmets with out them. It really cool your head nicely.... noticeable temp/air flow difference.
The small visor is very aerodynamic, and is more of an aesthetic addition as far as I can tell. What I really like is the fat chis strap. Other helmets I've owned have just had like a thin nylon strap that does more damage than good to my face. This is a wide, padded strap that tightens up nice and feels good on my face. All around a great helmet.

What is the best full face motorcycle helmet under $75?
Vega Altura White Medium Full Face Helmet
I recommend this white Vega helmet. I love the look and I love the security it gives me. It meets or exceeds all DOT and ECE standards. I love the fit.... it's almost perfect except a little tight around my ears, but I'm okay with tight when it comes to helmets!
It has a very convenient replaceable liner so it will always be clean for ya, and the shield comes in 9 different colors, so get picky.
This is a great looking helmet that will never go out of style and is guaranteed to protect your head. I trust my head to it.... you should too!

What is the best motorcycle helmet under $100?
Fuel Gloss Black Large Viper Full Face Helmet
This is such a sleek helmet it makes me want to ride motorcycles! I don't ride but my boyfriend does and he has this helmet... and loves it. I only hear about it every two seconds, because it's a new purchase for him. But he likes it because it's a full race helmet, so it covers his whole head, offering maximum protection... so I like it for this reason, too!! he was also saying it has this vent system that draws air in the front, over your head, and out the back... cool idea.
he was also raving about how comfortable the inside is, its some sort of mesh and microfiber stuff thats really soft and makes it so he never wants to take it off.
I noticed that it didn't look like there was a ton of padding in there, but he said it was pretty standard.

What is the best stereo receiver for my car under $1000?
  Kenwood DNX6140 6.1-Inch Wide Double-DIN In-Dash Nagivation with Bu...
Overall, this is a pretty nice little device. It does everything you would expect it to at this price, some things better than others though. First of all, the touchscreen is pretty awesome and I love the way it looks in my car. It's 6.1" of pure entertainment!
I also love the bluetooth. It's done by Parrot, so you know it's good. The pick up mic is very good, and people are usually surprised when I tell them that I'm talking to them through my car system because it is so darn clear.
I also like the navigation unit. If you're familiar with Garmin you should be able to hop right on this system because it's so similar. The maps are pretty detailed and easy to find your way around on.
Now, my complaints... sorry Kenwood, you knew it was coming! Not many complaints, just a couple concerns. In general, my complaints are aimed at usability, not quality. Everything works very well, but certain things are almost unusable, like the iPod interface. It's impossible to safely use it while driving because the darn buttons are so small. In general the interfaces and menus are not intuitive and clunky to get around. Also, the overall speed of the various functions is not very good... everything seems to take extra long to load.
All in all this is a nice unit, but I would see if you can try out before committing to anything, to see if you can deal with these issues I brought up...

What is the best tire pressure gauge under $25?
Michelin 12279 Digital Programmable Tire Gauge
I love knowing this is in my glove box.... it's really easy to use, and really easy to read my results on the big display. It even comes with an LED flashlight for night time tire checkin. I do need to point out, however, that it really only reads to the .5/psi, not to .1 I don't know how or why they advertise it like that because it's false!
Also capable of programming desired front/back psi's right on there and it will remember for you!

Air Spencer CS-X3 Air Freshener - Squash
Mmmmm this one smells amazing and I think I'm getting addicted to it! It's like the size of a cassette tape and has refillable smell cartridges. The one it comes with smells really really good, and I'm sure the refills are equally delicious.
It also has an adhesive so you can attach it to your dash for maximum exposure or under your seat for a more discrete look :)

What is the best car receiver under $50?
Delphi MyFi XM2GO Portable XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Home / ...
This is just a suggestion, but you should really check out satellite radio! It's way cooler than I thought it was going to be, and it's perfect for my car and vacations. I also love having my library/collection of music, but I have that at home and on my iPod and listen to it all the time. This is a convenient, ultra portable (and inexpensive) way to check out some new music and still get some favorites thrown in there! You will listen to stuf you never thought in a million years you would listen to.... and worse yet you might even like it!
This thing is really small... you can take it anywhere. It comes with a car kit, so you can get it set up and running in no time. (I will say mounting it in your car can be difficult... you might need some sticky velcro tape or something)
So you get tons and tons of channels like all satellite stuff, but with an added bonus.... you can actually record songs as they play and listen to them later. This is awesome because I was going to say my only complaint was that the reception goes in and out, but it's not a big deal when you have this feature. When you know you're gonna loose reception (like in a tunnel or a valley or whatever) throw on one of your recorded songs and ride it out!
The control panel is easy to use... i would even call it intuitive, and the variety is unbeatable. I'm having a lot of fun with my Sat radio and you should try it too!

What is the best scratch remover for my car under $50?
Glass Polishing Kit Pro Scratch Removal Repair
Well if you're gonna be working on you car at home, you might as well go all out and do the whole package! This is a pretty cool product that i just tried... although I think it's advertised incorrectly. They advertise it as a windshield scratch remover, but also say that if your fingernail gets caught in the scratch then it's too deep for this stuff to handle. So obviously it's not for any tough scratches.... you have to take everything you see online with a grain of salt!
What this product IS great for is deep windshield cleaning - at least that's what I have used it for. It can get off all those impurities and wiper lines and tiny scratches and really cleans up my glass. All yo do is pre wet the glass, add the included compound, attach the polishing buff to your cordless drill, and start polishing. Like I say... it's certainly not for big scratches, and I don't know why they advertise it as such.... but it will clean up those minor scrapes pretty well.
I would only give it like 6/10 stars, mostly because i feel like they misguide you in the ad.

What is the best rooftop cargo carrier under $400
Thule 667ES Excursion ES Rooftop Cargo Box
Thule makes a hell of a product no matter what you buy from them... I am a huge fan of this company and will keep buying their stuff for years to come! I love the design and simplicity of this rack... it makes travelling with it a pleasure instead of a hassel!
First of all, it's a spacious 13 cubic foot carrier, which is quite a bit of space, and it seems a little wider than other racks I've used.
It opens in the rear which I like personally because it means there is a hinge in the front holding it down solidly on the freeway....there's no way this will open up on the road. It fits on Thule roof racks, round roof racks, and most factory racks. Inside the unit you are able to strap your luggage down, and they even include two tie downs to do just this.
Installation would usually be the section where I tear the rack apart, but not this one. It comes with four snap on mounts, and is completely a tool-free system. It works by simply choosing from one of the four predrilled holes, sliding the clamp into the desired postion, and locking it down for a custom fit on your vehicle. Super easy and well thought out. Gives you a very good, secure connection that you can feel good about. Highly recommended!

What is the best vehicle cargo carrier under $100?
Keeper 07203 Waterproof Roof Top Cargo Bag - 15 Cubic Feet
I think this is a great roof rack, but don't treat it like an expensive one, cuz it's not! You know, some people buy these cheaper products, don't have an amazing experience with them, and then write all these horrible reviews about them as if they are surprised! This is a great cargo bag, but it's not for super long trips or nasty weather, so remember that you get what you pay for!
The bag is definitely waterproof, at least thus far in my experience with it. I've taken it on a couple of crappy weather trips and have had absolutely no water leakage. The top straps allow you to tighten it down snuggly against your luggage, but be careful not to pull too hard... they might break. (like i said, you get what you pay for) What you have to do with this bag is just make sure you pack smart... like don't put any sharp edges where the cover might rub... simple things like that.
I love the ease in which this thing folds up and stores in my garage... takes up very little space. It should fit ost any car roof, although I don't think it's designed for those tiny escorts or similarly small cars.

What is the best in dash navigation unit under $1500?
  Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT 7-Inch Flagship In-Dash Navigation A/V Receiver...
This thing is loaded to the brim with features and stuff, so I can really only comment on the tip of the iceberg here... but I'll share some of my experiences with this product with you.
It general, it's a very high performing audio unit and a pretty nice GPS as well. The audio functions definitely surpass the GPS abilities, which is somewhat discouraging, but it doesn't mean the GPS is bad or anything, just not as good as the audio stuff!
To start with, the 7" touchscreen is awesome. The screen is very clear and bright and easy to use. You can use things like fuel cost routing and route preference routing to customize your trip however you see fit. The GPS itself works quite well, and my only complaints are that of waiting for it to figure out where exactly I am and calculate a route. The graphics are a little cheesy - like I'm playing a video game or something - especially in 3D mode. The user interface for audio can be a little confusing, not intuitive at all, but you learn how to get around it.
As far as audio, this thing rocks. It can play am/fm, mp3, dvd, cd, wma, wav, aac, and freakin everything in between! It has a 7 band equalizer for precise audio tuning, and over all just great sound.
You would think at this hefty price they would include the iPod cable, but they don't. That's gonna cost you another $45.
One more thing - the bluetooth is awesome. The hands free calling is provided by Parrot, so you know it will be good.
All in all this thing pretty much rocks and I would certainly recommend it to the audio savvy, in-need-of-a-gps individual!

What is the best stage microphone under $200?
Blue Microphones enCORE 200 Studio-Grade Phantom Powered Active Dyn...
I think these blue microphones are a surprisingly responsive alternative to the shure 58's. I hadn't even heard about them until recently, and ended up buying one for myself. I use it a couple times a week at bar and restaurants and it has been wonderful for my voice. It actually has a phantom powered circuit, so it responds like a condenser. This is a nice feature that definitely increases the versatility and consistency of this microphone. It also means that the output signal is transfered electronically, enabling a higher gain (and subsequently more volume).
This is a nice choice for a lead vocalist or anyone that needs to stick out of the mix, as it is really easy to pick out and locate. It's designed for vocalists, so if you're a singer you owe it to yourself to try this mic out!

What is the best dynamic mic under $100?
  Shure SM58LC Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
I think everyone who suggested those other mics would also suggest an sm58! Everyone who's ever performed pretty much has used one of these. It's very well designed for vocals especially, and really rugged and durable... perfect for live performance. Every major venue probably has a few of these around. They have cardioid pick up patterns to isolate the main source of sound (your voice) and they almost focus in on the sound. You have to get it right up to your lips, though, for this to work. They are designed to be used on loud stages and therefor only pick up what is directly in front of them.
The sm58 features a pneumatic shock mount system that helps cut down on handling noise, and a built in pop shield for those hard 't's and 's's. These were certainly designed with the vocalist in mind, and are perfect for any range or timbre.
I highly recommend these mics to everybody!

What is the best NetBook?
ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook (Black)
This is a fantastic netbook on the market right now that I would highly suggest to you. Outfitted with an Intel Atom dual core N550 processor, it does everything it's supposed to do, and does it well. It comes with 1GB ram and an intel gma 3150 graphics card. Also has a 250 GB SATA hard drive and offers 500 GB free web storage... a huge plus.
The 10.1" design is extremely portable, and looks fancy, too, with its matte finish. They claim it can get a whopping 13 hour of battery life...yeah right! That's pushing it.... maybe 10 hrs max which is still good. They get you started with a windows 7 starter kit to get you surfin right away.
Negs? Only two I can think of - first of all, it comes with some crap on the desktop that is totally annoying and should be left to me to decide if I want it there or not.... like pre installed desktop links to Barnes and Noble and Ebay (????) Why? How much did those companies pay for that? Also, I called customer service because I had a question about the warranty and they were useless.... took forever to get anywhere and when I did I found it hard to get any answers :(

What is the best surround sound system under $500?
Energy 5.1 Take Classic Home Theater System (Set of Six, Black)
For right around 400 bucks you can pick up one of these pretty, gloss black finished Energy systems. This is a really nice system from a company that I, quite frankly, had never even heard of before purchasing! but they've been in the business for like 45 years and they make a great home theater system. It's got 5.1 channels which to me is more than enough for your average living room. Some of these systems have like 7, 8, 9 speakers...???? Overkill! My Energy system more than fills up my room, with sound coming from every direction. The 200W subwoofer is really powerful and has an 8" driver.
Adding to the high tech look of these suckers is the high tech sound: the woofer cone is made of some kind of poly titanium, and the dome tweeters are made of aluminum! Weird, huh?! They sound awesome. They use these materials to ensure minimum distortion and a very even sound distribution. I love mine so far and just can't think of anything bad to say about it right now!

What is the best at home espresso maker under $100?
DeLonghi BAR32 Retro Pump-Driven 35 ounce Espresso Maker
This little guy can can cran out some wicked espressos! I was surprised by its performance, to be honest. It doesn't look like much... in fact I don't know why they designed it to look sort of meek and cheap, because it's definitely a quality machine. The thing is super easy to prepare and clean, and even easier to use. It is pump driven, not steam driven, so the grounds are guaranteed not to get scorched.
You can use grunds or those little pods (I like grounds) equally well and get a coffee shop quality drink.
Make sure you study up on your barista skills before attempting to just dive right in. This is a science as well as an art, and the perfect cup of coffee is a lot harder to make than you think! There are lots of variables involved, including bean type, water quality, cleanliness of machine, how tight the grounds are tampered, etc. You might as well be an expert and get the best possible product!

What is the best hair straightener under $200?
Farouk CHI Auto-Digital Advanced Wet to Dry Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron...
Wet to dry straighteners are my personal favorite way to style, but not the only way. Like everything else it's definitely a personal opinion thing. These are cool products because it's like steaming your hair... you literally dry it from damp to totally dry, making a lasting look with ultimate curl reduction. Works best with damp, not wet, hair. It can be stressful for your little hairs to go from wet to hot and dry really fast, so you definitely want to towel dry pretty well.
This also has a really even ceramic/tourmaline heating surface so there are no surprises or inconsistencies. This one also comes with a handy pouch and stand, so you don't accidentally burn that pretty countertop!

What is the best hair straightener under $50?
Remington S9951 Shine Therapy Frizz Control, Humidity Resistant Cer...
Got this about a year ago to replace my Chi with something cheaper and just as effective. And it certainly is. Maybe the best straightener under $50. The ceramic plates can reach temperatures of 430 degrees (in about 30 - 40 seconds) which can certainly power through most unruly hair types. The little digital LCD screen is somewhat unnecessary but is a nice touch that improves it's usability.
They boast damage reducing ceramic that is infused with avocado oils and other conditioners, which doesn't even seem possible! But it definitely leaves my hair silky. Also has nice features like a swivel cord fore styling ease and auto safety shut off... essential for this girl... I always forget to turn it off.
A word to the wise: don't turn it up too high at first! I burned my hair first thing and was immediately pissed off by the product. Then I turned it down and tried again and of course it worked fine, you just gotta experiment.

I know... the nano technology titanium plates allow the infrared heat to heat this sucker up to that temp, and the Ryton housing is actually designed to withstand such high temps. There is basically no hair that can't be straightened with this thing. it also has an easy to use LED temperature setting. Just be extra careful when operating at these temps!
Also, remember it might take a little bit longer to heat up when on high.... maybe about a minute.

What is the best small flash memory camcorder under $200?
Sony DCR-SX44 Flash Memory Handycam Camcorder
This is a helluva camcorder for the price and size. I like buying sony products because I feel like they know what they're doing!
This camera comes with only 4gigs, but you can easily replace that with up to 32 gigs, which I would definitely recommend, because bigger is better in this case. The 4gig card can record up to 3 hours of video, so the 32 is obviously tremendously better!
It has a beautiful2.7" LCD3 display and a very high quality glass lens for extra sharpness.
The audio is pretty good, too, and has a feature where it zooms in with the video for a more accurate video-audio experience.
The camcorder comes with the necessary software, but folks - do your research on this! Most of the bad reviews have to do with compatibility issues, usually because the buyer didn't read up on the system requirements and now can't upload or edit their images.
Also be aware before you buy that this is not HD! If you are looking for HD go somewhere else! I don't mind the image quality because it is still very high, and the other features make up for it. But this is my opinion... so choose carefully!

While I do agree that the best Mexican food comes from mexican people that actually know what they're doing, maybe a good first step is to learn some recipes from a non mexican source to familiarize yourself with the ingredients and different types of food. Sometimes mexican cookbooks can be overwhelming, and even just finding the right ingredients can be darn near impossible.
This book is a great way to start cooking mexican food with out much prior experience. It's very well written, and is by a non-mexican who is learning the cuisine from the outside, much like you are. Includes over 300 recipes from rellenos to tortas and everything else... and it's all delicious!

What is the best wall candles?
Pomeroy Urban Wall Sconces - Set of Two
I'm totally into the whole warm modern look, so I can't can't get enough of this type of thing! These are really nice dark brown metal sconces with glass candle holders and interlocking squares. They are super easy to mount (I think two screws was all it took) and are fairly high quality and sturdy. This company makes lots more similar designs, too. So if this one doesn't do it for you, go look at their other options!

What is the best baby wipes?
Pampers SoftCare Scented 10X Wipes 720 Count
I suggest these because they smell really good.. enough to cover up the poopy smells! They advertise these correctly - they 're like a wet washcloth that you can throw away when you're done. They are soaked in pure water for freshness, which sounds good, but there is one drawback: they tend to get a little wet and almost slimy feeling sometimes. Not good if the mess is already wet and slimy (sorry for the visual) because it can just spread it around! You might need to use a few of these wipes on messes like that, but they will get the job done sufficiently.

What is the best food processor under $150?
Braun Multiquick 3 K650 Kitchen Machine 600 Watt
They call this a kitchen machine for some reason... but really it's just a super nice food processor. It has a slightly different look than most processors I've seen, but it works the same way. Actually, better. This is without a doubt one of the best food processors on the market today.
It has a 600W DC motor, 14 speeds to choose from, and a push button pulser. Also included are more slicing attachments and blades than I even know what to do with! It's really easy to clean, it's all dishwasher safe, oh... and it even has a citris juicer! It's one heck of a product. You won't really find any bad reviews on it.

If you need to take your dog on a plane, you have to get a carrier that's airline approved, like this one. It's make out of a very durable plastic and has tons of ventilation and light for your dog. It really is the ultimate travel carrier - even has a seatbelt slot for taking him in your car.
This one also includes a little storage compartment for the toys and stuff. I know it's not the most comfortable looking thing, but its safe and strong and will get your pet where it needs to go in one piece.

Nylabone Durable Frisbee Flying Disc Dog Toy, Flat Top, Large
My dad taught his two identical retrievers how to catch the frisbee, and it's so cool!!! He chucks it really hard and they take off like a bullet after that thing, jump and snatch it out of the air. Then they fight over it the whole way back. It's so cute and fun!

Estes 1382 Comanche-3 Flying Model Rocket Kit
This is a ridiculous altitude climber.... it has three stages of rocket powered fun. The first stage gets it going up and the next engine fires, taking it out of sight, and then another engine takes over, and this thing is gone! Up to 2600 feet... that's ridiculous. It's like half a mile! This is the best as far as shear altitude. You can't get much cooler!

What is the best shampoo/conditioner for freshly beached hair under $50?
Aveda Blue Malva Conditioner, 8.5-Ounce Tube
Hands down, this is BY FAR the best product you can buy to keep your bleach-and-tone bright. I've always had trouble keeping my highlights from looking brassy after a few washes, but I went to an Aveda stylist and she showed me the Blue Malva Conditioner and it changed my life.

Now be forewarned, if you use too much of this conditioner you may end up looking like one of those little old ladies with blue hair, because it's called Blue Malva for a reason. The shampoo is also good, but it doesn't have the same strong effect the conditioner has. The conditioner has blue pigments in the product to neutralize the yellow/orange brassiness that is inevitable with bleached hair. It works WONDERS, but like I said don't use too much unless you wanna be a blue-hair.

It is super moisture-rich too, which is great for chemically damaged hair! It smells so good and it also will last you a long time because it's so concentrated. Aaaand, Aveda is know for their earth-friendly hair and skin products! You'll love it!

Mondo Crash Pad by Black Diamond
The name says it all. This thing is HUGE. It has 5 inches of padding, and a much larger footprint than most other pads. It's expensive, but safety is always worth the extra bucks!

What is the best stainless steel cleaner?
Cerama Bryte Stainless Steel Cleaning Polish & Conditioner Wipes - ...
These are awesome for light polishing around the house, but definitely not for large jobs. They are perfect for my stainless appliances (coffee maker and grinder). I love the convenience of a wipe... makes me polish my steel way more frequently. I like to wear rubber gloves, because they feel sort of abrasive to me. Remember that it's oil based, as opposed to ater based, so don't let it touch anything but the stainless!

I bought this for my son's bedroom and he reads in it almost every night. It's not for lying down and sleeping or anything, but it's really comfy to curl up in and is a great indoor option for saving space. Easy to hang, too.

What is the best universal remote?
Universal Remote Control URC-R50 Digital R50 Universal Remote Control
Ok this is a great remote once you have it set up, but unless you are very much technically inclined, it can take a while to figure out how to make it work how you want it to. It has an on screen set up 'wizard' to help you get going, with out an instruction manual. I'd rather have the manual, but that's just me. It has lots of nice features, like 'learning mode,' where you point your old remote and new remote at each other and they exchange information, and the old one essentially teaches the new one all of the functions and programming you've already done to it. You can use it for up to 18 different devices (a little ridiculous if you ask me) and can program your favorite shows onto the remote for quick viewing. It also works from like 50 feet away. Like I said... it's really nice once you get it up and running, but hard to figure out!

What is the best countertop water carbonator under $200?
Sodastream Fountain Jet Soda Maker Starter Kit
This is pretty much the same thing as the other soda stream I saw on here, just a slightly different design. This is the one I have.... and I love it! I don't really make flavored drinks (even though there are like 25 flavors to choose from) I just like sparkling water because it's so refreshing! The bottles the give you are 100% BPA free, which was a huge concern of mine. BPA (Bisphenol A) is the compound commonly found in plastics that has been found to slowly break down into the substance that it is holding.... your food and water. Gross. Oh, and I think one Co2 canister yields about 60 liters of sparkling goodness!

Fisher-Price Go, Diego, Go Tough Trike
We used to call these 'big wheels' when I was young, but whatever they're called, they are certainly a lot of fun. Great for toddlers to start to understand the concept of riding, although they obviously won't learn any balance or anything. Just avoid gravel! I remember we had gravel on my road when I was young and it really ruins those plastic tires.

What is the best lock for my bike?
Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboutit Mini Bicycle U-Lock (3.25 x 6-Inch)
This is regarded as one of the safest bike locks around, and it is really unbreakable. However, there are some drawbacks to this lock, as there are with all of them. It just depends on your personal preference. As far as U lock durability, the Fahgettaboutit is totally unmatched. It has a whopping 18mm thick U and an oversized steel sleeve to cover the crossbar. It weighs in at 4 lb 6 oz (pretty heavy), and it comes with 3 keys, one of which has a light for night time unlocking. The small size here is definitely a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it's actually a thief deterrent because it is so small they can't use any leverage techniques often used to 'jack' bikes. On the other hand, because of its small size, it can be difficult to actually lock it to anything, and sometimes requires some careful manipulating. Also, carrying it on your bike can be awkward... you might need a rack on the back. One more thing - keep in mind you still probably want to get a cable lock for your tires (sometimes they sell them in sets). Good luck!

Whoever came up with this is a genius! I, too, suffer from not owning a grill (my building doesn't allow it) and it sucks! I looked into it and read some great reviews about this thing so I thought I would try it... and I'm glad I did! You can put it on almost any stovetop and get a decent grill taste. It cooks meat and veggies equally well. The only drawback is that it does leave some smoke in the air (like a real grill) so open some windows!
