Well....
According to reviewers this will work for those old FD lenses to a 60d. The only complaint (and I am not sure if this is something you can work around?) is that the extra piece of glass is going to yield slightly less sharp pics. Other than that it works as advertised.

I think this would be a good one for juicing. It is designed for pureeing and juicing and stuff... even has a pour spout on top so you won't make a mess trying to pour. Has a large 40ounce pitcher and stainless steel base and blades.
Hamilton beach is a great name for blenders, by the way. This will be a great purchase and should last quite a long time.
|
|
|
|
|
With that kind of budget you can get yourself a professional blender. Tis thing has a 3 horsepower engine! Holy crap need I say more?
This will make amazing smoothies.
I will caution you though... it's loud! other than that, amazing.

These are supposed to be awesome for such purposes. Very gentle on the wrists, and highly rated too.
It works similar to a joystick, but is shaped like a mouse. It reduces stress because you're not moving your arm and wrist all around, just gently tilting it to control where it goes. I recommend at least trying it, might be perfect!
|
|
|
|
|
This would be a great choice for you, provided your hands aren't too big! Reviewers seem to really like the shape and feel of it (it has the ergo vertical design which is easy for your wrist to handle) but say it is slightly on the small side. Cool design though, and I think it's worth a shot.

Hi Charles. I think buying from this company is always a good idea. They put a lot of thought into their products and usually come up with something great.
This mouse is no exception. it's perfect for travel because of its small size, wireless capabilities, and ability to track on almost any surface.

This would be a good option for you. I think a mechanical keyboard would be the way to go for software development. No ghosting, you can press multiple keys at once. It's noisy... one of those tactile keyboards. Great for software developers or really anyone who needs to type a lot. They are comfortable to type on and the action is wonderful.

Hey Shelly, Here's a super fast all-in-one that absolutely excels at printing photos. It is a little on the expensive side, but you really won't find a much faster printer, so if you if you need high quality prints (and you need them fast) this is the way to go!
It has a B&W print speed of about 12.5 ppm and can print a 4X6 photo in 20 seconds, which makes it one of the fastest in this category. Add to this its 9600 x 2400 maximum color dpi and 6 different ink cartridges and you have yourself a professional, fast as hell printing machine.

Here you go Doug. A great four thirds camera from Panasonic, with a fantastic lens.
It's a 16-megapixel compact mirrorless system and this one includes a 4-42mm Lumix f/3.5-5.6 lens. It can shoot HD video (1080p) too. These are really cool because you can get dslr quality shots, but being mirrorless they can make them much smaller.
It has a swivel LCD screen which is a great feature especially for filming, as it gives you a little flexibility.
Very nice camera, highly suggested.

This is a very popular monitor right now because it is just that: an excellent bang for your buck option. Easily under $200 and it offers a high quality picture, too. It is medium sized and even has speakers built right into it.
|
|
|
|
|
Seems like this would be perfect for you, and it's not even that expensive. With programming it's more about seeing top-to-bottom then side-to-side, so it's important to get yourself a pivoting monitor. This one pivots, as you can see in the pictures on the link, and it also has excellent resolution (full HD, 1080p) so reading will be easy. This is perfect for the avid programmer!

Wii is super fun! I just got one a few months ago and really enjoy it. However, I would suggest waiting for WiiU since it's coming out soon and should be pretty awesome, and since it will play Wii games it seems like the best choice to me.

Sim City for suresies. LOVE the Sim City games!!! I've played all of them from the beginning and have loved them all!

I personally think Nikon's d3100 is the ultimate beginner dSLR (sorry that it's a bit over budget!). It is great for a beginner because it has some easy to use features, but is also high enough quality to be used for profesional shots, especially with the right lens.
It's up to you to figure out if you like Nikon's optics or Canon's better. I personally prefer Nikon, but that's probably just because I am more familiar with it.
Some features you might like as a beginner include:
-14.2-megapixel DX-format CMOS image sensor. The CMOS sensor is generally better for beginners (compared to CCD) because it is a bit more forgiving with light and focus.
-Easy-To-Use Nikon Guide Mode with intuitive controls and on-board assistance
-Scene Auto Selector....Lets the camera decide the best mode to match the shooting situation
-6 Automatic Exposure Scene Modes... just set the Mode dial to the appropriate scene (portrait, sports, whatever) and the camera will set itself up for the right settings
-Includes 3x 18-55mm Zoom-NIKKOR VR Image Stabilization lens
It can also shoot 1080p full HD. This thing is great. You will love it.

You should consider these guys. They feature a natural wood chamber which allows for a big, free, resonate sound. Bass will sound sooo good and full.
Generally people agree that these offer excellent sound quality - from low to high frequencies -and that their only downfall is an inherent part of their design.... they are wooden, so they are a little delicate.
You can expect great sound from these!

This is a tough question that I don't think can be answered with the generalization of "the best phone period." Much like asking "What is the best vehicle" or "what is the best computer" the answer will be different for every person individually, because everyone has different needs. Most smart phones these days perform pretty competitively in terms of service, sound, and quality, so picking the right phone comes down to what features you want.
For me, iPhone 4 is perfect. I don't require the customization options or rooting that can be done with Droid phones. I just want something that is simple to use, fast, fun, and functional. (iPhone puts the FUN in functional....ha ha)
Maybe if you listed some features that are important to you we could give you a specific answer!

What about spending $15 for a brand new one?
I mean making your own would be cool, too, but this is so easy!
|
|
|
|
|
I think this would be the best option in your price range. I am assuming you would like to get a camera and lens for under $1000.... I would also recommend a Pentax K-5, but the body itself is $999.
The D5100 will be an excellent low light camera. With a 16.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 2 image processing it will shoot very effective, low-noise shots from ISO 100 to 6400.
Just make sure to practice beforehand so you don't miss any of those precious moments!!!
|
|
|
|
|
No way you could go wrong with this guy, and it's totally within your budget.
Great for low light shots for sure.
-ISO range of 100 - 6400
-12.2 MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Image Processor = high speed, high quality, low noise!
I realize you are a beginner, but this camera will help you become a better photographer. It even has an in camera guide to help you learn how to use it better, and help you pick the right scene mode for the conditions in which you are shooting. This is directly from the Amazon link, and gives you an idea of how it will help you as a young photographer:
"For beginners looking to expand their photographic horizons, the EOS Rebel T3 offers Creative Auto mode. While basic settings are based on full automatic operation, shooting guides on the LCD screen enable you to make corrections based on simple to follow guidelines. In essence, with Creative Auto mode, you can learn about photography while taking stunning photographs."

In the under $50 category I would totally recommend getting a sidewinder.
It looks so nice! It has programmable macro keys and backlit keys. It also has anti-ghosting technology, where you can press up to 26 keys simultaneously without ghosting. Pretty cool. It feels nice to the touch and the action is great. Seriously looks cool though, especially in the dark... it like glows deep red.
|
|
|
|
|
i would say, the camera doesn't matter, it's all about the photographer! and then i would talk about the "rule of thirds" and also what zach said.... make sure the lighting is right!!!
|
|
|
|
|
I would think this would be an excellent choice for you. This is a very highly rated camera in all categories, especially including low light shooting.
ISO is probably the most important factor with low light shooting... that and a sensor that can actually handle the information. With its CMOS Image Sensor and ISO 100 – 6400 (expandable to 12800), you will be perfectly equipped for shooting in dim light.
With its DIGIC 4 Image Processor and massive 18. mp you will get some beautiful images on this thing.
For even better shooting, get yourself a nice lens for low light. Anything that can shoot f/2.8 should be sufficient.
I don't know how much you know about photography, but shooting in low light can be difficult, so do a little research to figure out the right settings for different situations. As soon as you can control ISO and shutter speed you can use it to your advantage and get the most of your camera.

This is a great semi-professional dryer. I say semi-pro because it has all the features of a pro dryer but not the high price. This, in turn, means the quality won't be as high as certain pro models but you should get a lot of good use out of it anyways.
It has some nice attachments (watch out though! they get hot!!!) and 4 speed/heat settings. Its 1875 watts will definitely provide enough power for you, and it has that ceramic technology which is supposed to distribute heat more evenly I guess?
Great deal for under $100...and it looks mighty fine as well!

I don't do a lot of video editing - mostly photo editing - and this computer has been wonderful for me. I also have a nice big monitor, which really helps.
It's got a good processor, tons of ram and a big old hard drive. Boots up Photoshop instantaneously.... and everything processes so fast.
I like HP's in general and I think this is a fantastic machine!
|

Well if you want something that covers some serious real estate look no farther! This thing is humungous!! I feel like I would get blown away with it if it was too windy out. But wow as far as coverage, here ya go!

|
This little guy is bluetooth and totally effective.
I don't know...maybe you want a full size keyboard, but you should check this one out, too, if you're not opposed to the size.
I like it because it is so small and just sits on my table until I need it. Then, I just slam it onto my controller and BAM it's ready to go.
Nice little device, as long as you're not doing tons of typing.

I think this looks like a swell idea, although it didn't get great Amazon ratings. It's like a scroll on your wall. I guess I can see how it would be a little finicky, but I do like the idea. It's not as labor intensive as mounting it in a frame (well, 'labor intensive' might be a slight hyperbole...) but it's better than just sticking it to the wall.
|
|
|
|
|
If you want some really smooth (and fast) scrolling action look no further!
I love this mouse, because it makes using my computer so much easier. The response time is super quick and accurate....very sensitive. And the scroll wheel is something I can't lie without.
I like to buy electronics only if they make my life a little easier...isn't that the point of technology?!?!
This mouse does make computering way easier! And I just made up a new verb!
|
|
|
|
|
These would be cool...I don't know where they're available but they look great.
|
|
|
|
|
These not only look like they are from the future, they also have TONS of interior space which makes for easy cable management. You should look at the pictures on the Amazon page... you will see lots of interior space and it also offers 22mm clearance in the cable 'slots' for cooling and cable management.
One thing I should note is these units are really large! Big big big.
But they are unique in their looks, and I think they are really cool!
|
|
|
|
|
I think you should get something like this because it's like the ultimate in warmth. And, if you ask me, I think it's super cute, too. It's like a scarf and a hat, all in one cute bundle. Adorable!

Shure is always a good way to go, I would recommend this one. From what I've read it seems like a great mic in your price range. I know Shure is one of the industry leaders in microphones, so they would be a good company to consider. It does need phantom power to operate....keep that in mind!

The word 'dapper' comes to mind for some reason. Like a dapper, english gentleman.

This tree is amazing!!!!!
Best artificial tree for the money, if you ask me of course ;-)
There are SO MANY limbs and SO MANY individual needles that it looks very realistic. And it's pre-lit.
As far money matters, well it's only $199 which is a fantastic deal, and it has a 5 year warranty (the lights have a two year warranty) so you should definitely get your money's worth out of it.
Oh and I should add that part of the reason it looks so real is that the shape of it is a little uneven, no it looks more natural. I like that about it. Also, be ready to spend some time folding down all the branches to the right level because there are a lot of them!

Personally, I really like the magic mouse! It's a little expensive, sure, but it works well and looks like it belongs with my other mac stuff!
I like that it has bluetooth...no extra receivers or anything to deal with. The tracking is great, it's comfortable enough (I guess it's not as comfortable as those 'ergo' mice, but I don't have a problem with it), and I LOVE the touch scrolling. Technology is so cool.

I suggest you check out the livestrong website:

I say go with the froggy friend...I mean, who doesn't want a friend that you can poop on?!! This is a pretty cute little contraption, (despite what it is intended for) and I think having the 'frog' character will help kids associate with it better. The bowl lifts out for easy cleaning.
Isn't parenting fun?

Might as well get some epson paper to go with your epson printer. This stuff is pretty nice. Has a good high shine. I would also recommend Canon photo paper. Both are good!
|
|
|
|
|
If you would like something a little easier on the wallet you should consider this one. It's programmable but not touchscreen..... so you will have to learn how to program it and it might be like 10% more difficult than a touchscreen! But I think you can handle that.
You can create a daily program that will go for 7 days.... you program temps for when you wake up, leave, return, and sleep, and it will heat your house accordingly.
Works great on a budget!
|
|
|

This one will work with your mac mini.
It has a very sharp display... a pleasure to work with. It's also very reasonably priced.
I think it's a good price for the size and quality that you get.
|
|
|
|
|
I think you need to consider large-format photo printers, assuming you're serious about your scrap booking.
Scrapbooks in general are larger than 8 1/2 X 11, so you want something that can print a whole page for you. You also want your memories to be captured as vividly as possible, thus the need for a quality photo printer... you will be able to print on photo paper and it will look like a real photograph.
This printer is pretty expensive, so if it's over your budget I would still recommend looking at large-format photo printers.
Ink for this printer is actually quite reasonably priced... at least cheaper than many other printers.
Happy scrapbooking!

I have been having so much fun with this mic! Plugs right into your usb and you can record almost immediately. I'm pretty much an amateur, so I actually just use mine through garage band! But have recorded some really cool stuff.... at least I think it's cool.....
But cool or not, sound quality is what counts here, and this mic is awesome in that department. It is a condenser mic so it's quite sensitive to the sounds you throw at it. It's also very versatile, in that it can switch between different recording patterns so you can record vocals and live instruments with the same mic (at different times). Switch between cardioid, stereo, omnidirectional, and bidirectional patterns depending on what instrument you are trying to record.
One thing I have noticed with this mic is that it's great for my voice - sort of low and raspy - but needs some tweeking for brighter voices. My good girlfriend has a higher, brighter voice, and the levels had to be adjusted to make her voice sound right, and to highlight her higher tones without sounding tinny. As long as you're not afraid to do a little adjusting, I think this wil be a great mic for you!

I have to recommend the computer I use because it is so wonderful for me and I would never buy anything else!
Macbooks are the best multi-purpose easy to use computers, as far as I'm concerned. I don't know ANYTHING about computers, but I had absolutely no problem setting up and using this thing, all by myself. That's how easy they make it. I use word processing, the internet, and do some music recording/editing stuff and it is all so darn easy on a Mac!
If you want a reliable, casual use computer that will never let you down, make it a Mac.
Definitely worth the extra cash for the fantastic usability.

This looks like it would be just about perfect for you.
I have been looking for a new home theater system myself, and don't want to spend a fortune, so this system caught my eye.
5.1 channels will give you a sweet surround sound experience.
It looks like the type of system that will give you a big sound for a medium sized room. Probably not ideal for larger spaces, because it's not super powerful or big.

Here's a terry cloth robe for you that's right in your price range. These are what they use in nice spas. They are extremely absorbant and extremely soft. She will love it!

You could buy some of these in different colors and have a polka dot blow dryer! They stick really well.
What exactly is so ugly about your blow dryer that you want to cover it up?
Just curious :)

I don't know what your price range is, but for his outdoorsman side you coud think about getting him a Jetboil camping stove. Check it out:
http://www.amazon.com/Jetboil-Titanium-Cooking-Sys...
These are amazing. They boil water in minutes flat. I was on a backpacking trip and we ran out of water, so we used a jetboil to boil water for ourselves to pasteurize it. It really worked.
Cool cool gift for someone who is into camping.

GREAT BRAS!! My favorite, as far as active wear goes. They minimize movement but aren't constricting. They are tight and supportive, and the material itself is very soft and silky on my skin. Highly suggested.

I have this silly thing for my creepy halloween table.
The pot itself is ceramic. It was actually a gift I won at a raffle, and is designed as a gift basket. However, when all the gifts have been eaten (yummy) it makes a wonderful centerpiece!

I think this is a wonderful shawl for the price. Very inexpensive.
It's quite light, so it won't really keep you warm at all. But it looks nice and feels soft.
i have this back one because I think it's the best looking one. It's pretty!
|
|
|
|

Totally works... totally portable!
It will keep your food and beverages at a constant, refrigerated temperature (down to 41 degrees), and best of all it comes with an A/C adaptor and a car adaptor. I love it for road trips!

|
Ha ha ha ha ha ha have you ever seen this movie?!
It is so damn outrageous and ridiculous, you can't hep but fall in love with it. It's like a sci fi soap opera, is the best way I can describe it.
Like the action is intense, and it seems like some of it is supposed to be serious, but then these ultra ridiculous things happen that make you go, 'what the crap is going on here?!' and there's of course a super cheesy love stor to go along with it.
100% outrageous fun.

A really fun plane to learn on! Although it's not perfect....
The same thing that makes it easy to use it what ends up making it difficult! see, all you really have is throttle and turning controls, so altitude control becomes an issue.
Figuring out how to control your altitude is the main thing you have to do the whole time the thing is in the air!
It's hard but you will get the hang of it and it is a lot of fun.
Give yourself a lot of room and a soft landing pad... a field is ideal.

Ok so admittedly this isn't the best pan of all time...certainly not a pro pan... but hey I'm not a pro cook. The reason I am recommending it to you is because there is so much talk about how bad nonstick pans are for you, because the chemicals get released into your food, and yadda yadda.
This pan has a ceramic coating that is completely 100% PTFE and PFOA free, so you don't have to worry about those harmful chemicals entering your body.
I have only owned mine for a month, but thus far it is working just fine, and the nonstick coating definitely is, well, nonstick. The handle is plastic and a little cheap feeling. The pan, as a whole, is great and you should buy one and avoid those nasty chemicals.

I would have to recommend the product I use... this here Olay regenerist.
Personally, I see great results with this stuff.
First off, let me just say that it's not magical, so it's not going to reverse the effects of aging or anything like that! Don't expect a miracle.
What you can expect is a nice moisturizing, soothing eye cream that not only feels luxurious to apply, but also noticeably tightens up the skin around your eyes. Also I think it evens out my skin tones a bit.
I would suggest taking this for a spin. I think you will be happy with the results!

King Kutter. It's tough and durable, and makes chopping up your veggies a pleasure instead of a pain.
You can chop up a massive amount of vegetables in no time! I have become the slaw queen, because it's especially great for making coleslaw.
But really anything you need to chop or slice, you can do with this machine.
I highly recommend it!

These are fruity and delicious. Sometimes I even sneak one or two into my mouth because I like how they taste!

this is very inexpensive and you can buy a base to go with it for like 20 bucks.
it looks about as cheap as it is, but you can only tell from right close up.

I imagine it would be good to buy a carrier that will hold the baby in close to your body. This will be gentler on your back, as it will keep the center of gravity in closer to you, putting less horizontal stress on your back.
This product or something similar would be good.
You can wear this forward or backwards.

I have had a lot of luck with these Pinzon bath towels, but I also have some complaints about them!
The good: they are ULTRA soft. Luxurious. Soft and fluffy and also very absorbant. As far as using the towel goes, no complaints.
The bad: they are quite heavy, especially when wet, and take FOREVER to dry. Like at least one full dryer cycle. Also, the care instructions don't really make sense...they say only wash in cold water with no bleach, so it seems they are impossible to clean! I just use a little detergent and they seem to be fine.
I think they are worth the steep price for the luxury they offer when I get out of my bath! A small luxury can go a long way.

This is a good, accurate test. Very cost effective, and it makes me wonder how these other companies can charge 15 bucks for 3.
This is a pack of 10 for 7 dollars. Same stuff! They work well and are easy to use.

A great great great great throw!!!! This blanket is very soft to the touch. Microsuede on one side, microfiber on the other. Soft as can be. It's light but warm. definitely enough for cuddling up at night to watch some tv or read a book!

|
|
|

i wanted to offer this as a suggestion in case you are looking for length, like for live performance. Surprisingly nice sounding for the price, and over all they feel well made and strong.
The plug itself doesn't seem as tough as some other, more expensive xlr's, but it certainly does the job and makes pretty sounds!

I would have to go with Madonna. She has a special place in my heart.

these are super fun and fast, but obviously you have to use them on the right type of snow! Don't use it on 1/2 inch of snow in your back yard, on the twigs and sticks and stuff, and expect it to survive, okay?! it's inflatable!
if you use it on soft snow you will love how fast it goes! you start bouncing around and flying off and stuff. awesome.

I have one more tip that I can think of. If you have rooms in your house that you don't go into very often, try to keep the door closed and circulate the warm air more efficiently.
|
|

It's a pretty basic unit but the sound is very impressive. It's got 50w per channel, enough to fill a large room. Very simple but great sound!

if you haven't seen Brian Regan you haven't lived!!! He is hilarious. His timing impeccable. They way he presents himself is so endearing and lovable.
You will see things that make you think of his skit and burst into laughter, right then and there! Seriously funny.

Let's just say if you are into this game, you are INTO this game! So addictive. It's not only good for a rainy day, but also a rainy WEEK! It can go on forever, but every moment is fun and exciting.

It is so light and small... very portable. There is no way the battery lasts 12 hours like they claim. Maybe right at first I got like 7 hours but count on around 5. Still pretty good.
Nice bright screen, typing on the keyboard is a pleasure. It's not super fast I would say but it's decent.
I think it is fantastic for traveling.

I would have to suggest Vizio because it's my TV of choice. I think this is a fabulous TV and the picture quality is just amazing.
I was originally interested in it aesthetically - the color matched my living room scheme perfectly. I was happy to find that it very easily mounted on my wall and looks spectacular.
It's user friendly from start to finish. From the moment it comes out of the box it's easy to assemble and easy to start watchin. I need something simple because I am no tech genius. The assembly and set up directions are clear and right to the point.
The only thing I am not totally stoked about with this TV is the sound. It's ok, but sometimes quiet conversations are way too muffled to hear at all.
Overall I am happy.

THIS WAS DISCONTINUED SO BUY SOME NOW!!
I don't know why they always have to discontinue good stuff that i like to use!
I, too, have combination skin and I can tell you this is the best foundation for dry AND oily areas.... totally the best I've found.
Great for normal, non dry skin too. It doesn't dry me out, it doesn't get cakey or anything.
I usually have a lot of luck with L'Oreal products anyways, so here's another to add the list :)

these are awesomely flexible and functional little contraptions! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it and it works surprisingly darn well.
You can adjust all the legs do do what ever you want... stand, wrap around, hang, what ever. Simply the most versatile tripod EVERRRR!
Oh.... you do have to take the case off your phone to use it... hope that's not a problem!!!

It's silent. It's powerful. It's waterproof.
More power than any other battery vibrator I've owned and also it has a longer....ummmmmm.... reach.

i believe what you are referring to is a sunday bag or a range bag. i picked this one up recently and am very happy with it!
it holds half a set of clubs.... also has fold out tripod legs so it can stand on its own (LOVE IT!) and a few pockets for tees and stuff.
as far as protection goes I would say that's the one area where this bag suffers... i wouldn't take my clubs on a plane in this bag because there simply isn't enough padding to make me feel safe about it. but for hitting the range it is absolutely perfect. this is a good one.

Hey Shelly you should try this out it really helped me at work. I stand all day at work and often find myself slouching. It happens completely unconsciously. All of a sudden I look in the mirror and I'm all hunched over. And then I notice it in my back later in the day... I FEEL like I've been hunched over all day and it's awful. This is a great way to pull those shoulders back and keep them there.
It's relatively comfortable... not obnoxious or anything, but you'll be aware of it. I don't use it everyday, but I would say 3 - 4 days a week, outfit allowing of course!
It definitely relieves back pain from hunching all day, so I suggest it for that reason. It's not something that I want to wear all the time for comfort and fashion reasons, but it's nice to have around for particularly painful days!

I bought this for my 3 year old but ended up stealing it and using for myself because it was too big for her! Great little bag, and will be comfortable ad useful for you as long as you have a slight frame.
Won't fall apart just because it's cheap... I've used it for almost a year and it's holding up just fine :)

This is a good microwave in the under 50 dollar range. Surprisingly functional and hard working, also easy to use. There are just 2 dials on it (and they're non-digital), so as far as easy operation it's pretty much unsurpassed.
It takes up very little counter space and only draws 600w which is quite low.
Great for people who enjoy simplicities like me! I don't need a bunch of crazy features for my microwave! Just give me a time dial and a power level dial and I'm happy.
Works just like a microwave should, only easier.

This is an awesome idea and totally out of the ordinary. Turquoise is somehow both beautiful and inexpensive. Pair it with silver and it is a match made in heaven...just like I'm sure you and your girlfriend are.
This will take her breath away! it is beautiful.

This is 100% silk....need I say more?! You know how good that's going to feel on your head! Worth the price as far as I'm concerned because it is beautiful.

This is a fantastic hobo. And for the price it's the best deal around! It is well put together bag from top to bottom, inside and out. I'm surprised it was so cheap! Now that I have it and I see how nice it looks I am just blown away. Buy this purse! It's great. Soft material, sturdy enough (although I will say it's probably not the toughest handbag ever).
Lot's of colors to choose from too! If she likes the hobo style bag this is the one.

this is also a great snow chain, and you certainly can't beat the price. these are definitely for emergency type snow situations though. it's sort of a process to put them on, and it does require moving the car a little bit. It's not like it's super difficult or anything, but it takes a minute... it's not an on the fly sort of thing. also, you can't drive very fast with them on with out risk of hurting your tires.
Like i said, they're for emergencies. Keep them in your car, because when you need them, you REALLY need them!

|
Why they are pink I'll never know....maybe to try and appeal to women but that's kind of silly if you ask me. But the tool set (which I got as a gift from my husband) is quite useful. It has wrenches, a level, screwdriver bits, a hammer, and all the usual suspects all nicely packed in the black molded case. Everything stays in well, as long as you put it in correctly. Nice and compact.

|
This is what you'll want because I've tried those full page plastic ones and they are useless because they A) are made of plastic so they actually make the page less clear, and B) they are not rigid so they tend to bend which further distorts the image. A rigid one is what you need.
Keep in mind you have to keep it suspended over the page to be of any use, so these can be quiet cumbersome in general.

I bought these for the security of what is essentially an unlimited number of channels and I really like that about it. The range is only decent though, and they do go through a lot of batteries.
When I say the range is decent, I mean it's definitely comparable to any other similar walkie talkie... about 1/2 mile to a mile before static becomes overwhelming.
The range works for me, but definitely don't expect anything even close to what they advertise.

i think this is a really pretty dress.i love how the design fades out to white with the geometric design. almost looks like a piece of contemporary art. In fact I could see it framed in my living room!
Probly not the warmest fall dress ever, though....

This is a SWEET machine and I bet your bf doesn't have one! This is seriously an awesome idea. These are really fun. easy to use... and you can find old records all over town or online. Get him a record of his favorite band. This is the modern way to listen to those old recordings.
Really fun! I have one it's awesome and works like a charm :)

These are great i used them to replace my redbull addiction... it was too expensive to keep up! The flavors are all good and it gives me a nice boost in the afternoon to keep me going.
really stimulates brain activity, you can tell. you have to buy some water bottles to go with them. you open the 8oz bottle, dump in the zipfizz and shake it all up in there.
tasty and full of b vitamins and stuff. nice alternative to coffee or redbull.

AWESOME SUITCASE!! I love this suitcase and have no complaints. it fits plenty of clothes for a multi day trip. the wheels spin freely so rolling it anywhere is super easy.
it's rugged enough for a lot of travel and even comes with a detachable toiletry bag and laundry bag. they thought of everything!
i highly recommend this suitcase.

This has been so wonderful to my skin for som many years. I wear make-up every day and believe it's important to remove it every night. I have to or I break out.
This face cream is perfect for just that. It's a gentle formula that cleanses your face and removes dirt and makeup effectively, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and revitalized after.
Just apply and wipe off. Then I wash my face like I always do.
It's a great moisturizer. My skin feels soft and youthful!

Pretty awesome idea if you ask me...they took neck pillows to the next level. Only problem is they're not quite long enough. They work and get the job done, but i do wish they wee like 2" longer. oh well you can't win 'em all.
Works just like you think, though. Bends to where you want it and stays there. Really ideal for car and plane seats, as it can be difficult to comfortably keep your head upright to fall asleep. This is the answer, my friend! This will solve your travel problems.
It's soft, too. Not at all rigid, like one might suspect with a shapable product like this. Great little thing, i use it all the time!

|
this is a nice bag... i mean how much can i say about a duffle bag? it holds stuff well..... definitely a durable material. i like the zippers! they do an excellent job of not getting stuck on the bag itself. has a padded, adjustable shoulder strap. over all i guess i like it because it's tough and i don't worry about it under the plane.

This will do exactly what you want it for! This compound, when used right, will bring some life back to your old exterior, including small surface scratches like those a tree branch can create. Just make sure you follow the directions and do it right. It's not wax! You have to polish it all the way down until it shines. It's not a rub on, spray off type situation. You really got to get in there and polish - especially with tree branches... those can be rough. You're probably gonna have to do the whole car, because it will be noticeably different if you only do one area!
But this is a great product and it should work very well for you.

I bought this for my husband last winter. I think it's a bit warmer than your average fleece sweat shirt. It's like a microfiber type material and man is it warm. I wear it sometimes to go get the mail or whatever and it is delightful. Soft material. Breathable yet warm.
Could be just about all you need all winter if you don't live in a super cold climate. It's all he needs!

what about some faux croc hide! heck yeah these are awesome. i bought one myself, only to realize that it does not come with a buckle. bummer.
oh well it was kind of fun shopping for a buckle individually because it allowed me to sort of customize my belt. now it's even cooler because I actually found a crocodile buckle at a thrift shop!

great jacket.... but it's pigskin, not cow! this doesn't bother my husband who I bought it for. bothers me a little bit, mostly just because they didn't specify, like they were trying to keep it a secret.
but the jacket looks wonderful and is one of the more attractive leather suit jackets I've seen in a while. he's very satisfied with the fit and the look. wears it all the time!

how bout the old classic chain? securely attaches your wallet to your belt loops. this is about as subtle as it gets i would say.

This is as lightweight as it gets while still protecting your clothes and being functional.
I like that about it... i'm not trying to carry around a huge suitcase for a suit. this is simple and light and gets the job done.
I like that it fold once or twice over, so it easily fits in overhead bins, if need be.

Zip on over to Sears and get yourself one of their DieHard batteries. It's rated among the very best out there and can out perform some higher priced models.
For under $100 this is your best bet.

Hapi coats are usually reserved for special occasions and festivals in Japan... but you can bring that tradition home and make every day a special occasion with this robe!
It's awesome. Great gold dragon emblems on a white polyester (satin-like) material makes for a soft, interesting looking, lounge around the house in style kimono for any man (or woman) to enjoy!
I think these make great christmas or birthday gifts because they're totally unexpected.... something completely new and different.

Is everything Mothers makes amazing?
I think so!
Every one of their products I've tried (from glass cleaner to wax) works better than expected. You can trust your Mothers!
After a nice deep clean with a chrome cleaner (I think any will do, but see if Mothers has some!) Use this as directed and you will get like new chrome in minutes.

So when they say 'cashmere' they mean it's 10% cashmere, 70% wool and 20% polyester. Just so ou know. But don't let this deter you from this coat. Regardless of what it's made of, it's incredibly soft and warm. My son absolutely loves his.
It's very stylish... dapper would be a good adjective for it.... and makes him look (by his own description) more distinguished and gentlemanly. True! It does! I just like knowing that he's warm.
Oh yeah, and he loves the traditional anchor buttons. Very charming.

I have this one. It's cool, does what I want it to do, and that is hold my registration and stuff.
Folds over itself to close, has a couple of compartments inside, including a mesh one, which is nice because you can find the correct paper quickly.
I think all of these products are pretty much the same thing. They just hold some papers and some pens...nothing fancy.

I believe those are called 'contrast collar' shirts and I agree with james in that they're usually pretty square looking. however, I have seen some very nice looking ones that I would call fashion forward - exactly the type of thing you would want to out in for the evening. Not my favorite style of all time, but if done right it can look really nice!

I had a lot of luck with this little kit... shined up my headlamps real good. They had a cloudy look to them after years of neglect, but this took care of it. Almost the perfect little product, but it does have a flaw that I will get to.
It's very simple to use, but remember that it does require the use of a house hold drill, that does not come with the kit.
Basically, it's just like five steps using 4 different drill heads. You sand with one, smooth out with another, buff with one, and polish with another this of course taping sufficiently around the headlight so as not to scrape up your car....step one. Actually I guess step one would be to clean the headlight with soap water... but anyways you follow the directions and it will polish those headlights right up.
The problem, however, is the darn pads are too big for some headlights. In the example, they use a ford taurus's headlights, which are conveniently shaped perfectly to allow the pads to get to the whole thing. However, most headlights aren't shaped that way, so corners and stuff are impossible to reach with the pads provided.
They should sell an additional pack for this problem, or include some smaller pads.
But it works well for the parts you can get to!

I bought some of these for my man and oooooohhhhweee they're soft! It was quite an investment for me, but well worth the money. He loves them. He never was that into pj's until I went out on a limb and got these beauties.
You can't help but fall in love with them if you try them on. I made the mistake of trying them on and he almost didn't get them back :)
very soft silk... almost too soft! Be careful, it does rip easily. make sure you are careful when you wear them not to catch them on anything like a nail because it will be the death of them.

These are simply some of the best sandals ever. Chaco has it down to a freakin science. There's padding whee you need it, support where you need it, and just enough strap to hold the shoe on tight but not get in the way.
I can hike for miles in my Chacos before I feel uncomfortable at all. My feet don't get sweaty in them because there is so little strap. Spend the extra dough and get some of these! You won't regret it.

This watch is just stunning. I bought one for my husband because he wanted something modern and stylish, and most importantly, simple. This actually has more dials than he wanted (including a date function) but he still loves it. I love it too. Kind of jealous!
So simplistic and modern. Sleek is a good word to describe it. A definite stand out from the crowd!

if you don't mind something a little bit rough and tumble, this is your boot. I own a pair of these and they are by far the toughest boots I've ever owned. Designed in the spirit of the wester frontier, but still sexy!
This is a VERY tough boot with a full grain leather upper and thick rubber sole. The real deal if you are serious abut 'long lasting'.

Something like this would be nice... some kind of light vest. Great for layering, especially in transitional times like early fall or late spring. Can be worn over so many different outfits! If you don't like this you could try a lace vest...super cute!

Best cover around! great for nasty weather and sun protection. this thing is heavy duty and can handle almost anything mother nature throws its way!
my husband wanted to protect his new lexus, so we shopped around for a while, eventually deciding on this guy. we wanted something that was exceptionally durable so we wouldn't have to worry about it in the rain and snow. This is the one for that. it is heavy duty and reliable. don't let your car be without it! protect your investment from the elements!

Thule makes awesome easy to install and easy to mount bike racks. This one is designed for a mid size car and should attach to your corolla with ease.
I generally trust everything thule makes. It's always high quality and wonderful to use.

If you really want to go all out, you could get one of these...expensive as hell though...also doesn't come with a monitor, which is pretty lame. but i imagine you could hook it up to your in dash monitor? cool cuz you can mount anywhere on your vehicle.

I look at every little purchase like this as an opportunity to express myself (maybe that sounds weird...but yeah I'm kind of weird) but i like to have things that look cool and go with my personality and stuff. that's why i love this thermos. there are a million thermoses out there, but only one looks like this.
awesome design on there... i mean have you ever seen such a pretty thermos!!?
I do have to say, the lid is kind of crappy... let me know if you figure out how to drink from it without spilling a little bit. there is definitely a technique you have to learn.

These are great. I bought some for my husband when he needed new hiking shoes because I know how much he loves the Teva flip flops he owns.
He is very happy with them. The were a bit snug at first, but gave enough eventually for a really nice fit. It's just an excellent outdoor sport shoe. Not too heavy or bulky, and they can totally be worn around town and stuff, too because they are such an attractive shoe.
The waterproofing seems to work like they describe it, although we don't get tons of moisture here.
Great trail shoe, camping shoe, fishing shoe, what have you. It'l do everything!

This is a great slipper for exactly what you're taling about. Perfect for cruisin around your house on chilly days. Obviously not for outside use, but great for any time that your inside floors are too chilly for your feet. They're very light and soft.

I bought this for my husband about two years ago. What a great addition to his truck. He does construction and until I bought this all his tools were just scattered about the bed of his truck. This is stupid because he was obviously ruining his tools this way, and he had to put them all in the garage every night so no one would steal them. Anyway, bought him this. It was easy to install, is rugged and well built, fits all his tools (and he can leave them in there overnight 'cause it locks) and after two years only has minimal wear and tear. Great box.

I think this is an awesome cleaner... seriously works for everything. I use it in my kitchen, bathroom, walls, floors sometimes. I really like that it kills germs.... this is very important to me as a mother (as you are soon to be)! keep everything germ free for those kiddies.

Definitely wear a nice suit coat from Express or something similar. A modern, sleek coat says "I don't mess around with my clothes" which is important to seem successful. Isn't that all a reunion is anyways, to see how successful all your classmates are now?

Yes there kind of is and I call it "Passive Ironing". Get ready to learn something amazing.
All you have to do is hang up your desired garment in the bathroom with you as you shower, and the steam should drastically reduce the amount of wrinkles.
I swear it works. i just did it yesterday with a cotton long sleeve I have and it absolutely works. One tip - once you get out of the shower you should use your wet hands and kind of rub down either side of the shirt at the same time... pull the material down and flateen it between your hands as you go.
This will work for cotton for sure.... silk, too, but don't get your silk too wet.... it's very fragile and it's liable to stain.
Not sure if this works with polyester or other man made materials.

I have the womens version of this sock and it's great. I like the look of the low cut sock, and I like the black, too... just think it looks cool. Lots of cushion, made of a cotton/polyester blend. I like a comfy pair of socks....not the type of person that wears cheap socks, so you can trust my judgement!

I would say a good 'must have' would be 'oh shit handles' as we used to call them. just some handles to hang on to... I think a lot of jeeps don't have any. You can get ones that just strap on, no problem with velcro.

Clarks are the ultimate in comfort. They don't just design a shoe that looks great, they make sure it performs well, too. These pups are made of leather and have a lambskin lining. They even have reduced the stitching on the lambskin (which surrounds your foot) to help with comfort and blisters.
Even if you don't like this particular style, I would recommend Clarks for sure. A great all around shoe.

If you're 100% mp3 now like me, you probably never use that old CD player in your car... I know I don't. So wipe the dust off and slip one of these in there. Get some use out of that CD player!
This is a well designed universal mount that can hold your iphone, ipod, droid, gps, a bagel, whatever you want to put in there. It's very easily adjustable and has a large size range.
I love this thing - it's very sturdy and easy to install/use. (no tools necessary)
The only thing is it can get in the way of some of your dash buttons. In my vehicle it only slightly obstructs my defrost, but other vehicles may have worse issues. Try before you buy?

If you don't mind dropping a few serious bills, these are like the nicest gloves ever. Dual colored, all leather... just a beautiful glove aesthetically.

It's small, it's simple, it's dapper. Just enough room for you and lady. Black is a good choice for a man, and it's nice to have something that isn't too bulky. Even has an auto open push button. You will be umbrella-ing in style.

|
I saw some news cast about this a couple years ago where they actually threw coffee and oj and ketchup and stuff at a 'stain-proof' jacket and then attempted to wipe it off.
I remember they found that it actually worked for coffee and oj, but not for ketchup. The oils in the ketchup penetrated the coating or whatever they put on there and left a bad stain
So.... it works for some stuff, not others. I know I could use it for coffee spills!

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely loves it. I was actually surprised by how well made it is. It looks like it's worth a lot more than I payed. It's a three button coat, and is actually a little longer than your average coat... but I like that about it. Kind of makes it unique.

If you have some cash to spend, blow him away with this thing. Get this - it's woven from strands of stainless steel. Yeah. Awesome. My dad freaked when I got him this wallet. Obviously, being made of stainless steel, it's super durable. Everything fits in it well, too. Functions like a normal wallet. Looks way cooler.

Is this not something that soap and water can take off? Soap, water, a rag and some elbow grease. I'm pretty sure that will do the trick.

Hey man I just had the same problem and wanted to do it myself.... suuuuuper easy. The pins just come right out. Might need some needle nose pliers to grab the pin and pull it out. Try not to lose those pins, though. They're really small.
The only hard part for me was finding something solid to put the watch on so I could hammer the pins out... ended up just using the corner of a table, with the links I wanted to remove just barely hanging over the edge.
You will probably find that it is a two person job...unless you have proper jewelers tools. I know I had to recruit my boyfriend to help me with the hammering.

i think these are the way top go as far as men's shades. they're like tortoise shell aviators... awesome. huge lenses = huge coverage. Go for the celebrity look man!

This is a very interesting question. Whereas I can't comment from a legal viewpoint (I have no idea if it's legal or illegal) I can comment from a law enforcement viewpoint (my dad's a police officer), and that is having large fuzzy dice in your windshield is certainly a reason for a cop to pull you over at 3 in the morning after a night on the town and smell the alcohol on your breath. Legal or not, they still seem to scream "Look at me! I like to party!"
|
|

|
|
Totally agree.... but not super slim skin tight jeans.... gross. I'm talking 'bout jeans that just fit like they're supposed to! At the right place on your hip, slim cut, down to your shoes. I know skinny guys have a hard time finding jeans that fit well that are long enough....lot's of times with jeans as waist size goes down, so does length.
But yeah rock on skinny jeans!
|
|
|
|
|
I think a nice twill pant would be great for you. They are light in color as well as material so they reflect light better than jeans. I know what you mean about sweatiness in jeans... it's rough. I'm a girl so I go with capris or yoga pants, but you don't really have that option! Check out twill...might change your world.

I finally got my boo to wear some of these. He resisted at first because they're just a little shorter than he is used to, but now he loves them. I just think a slightly shorter short is more attractive and adult than the long, knee length type.

My boyfriend is 6'5 and skinny, so we always shop for him online. It's the only way to find things that are not only long enough (pants and shirts) but also thin enough for him. For some reason department stores think that if you're tall you are also fat. Shop online at any of your favorite stores and you can probably find something that will fit you. Also, when you shop for clothes online you are usually able to send them back if they don't fit you.
